A small donut shop offering a decent size selection of fresh donuts, kolaches, and breakfast sandwiches. I got a jalapeño kolaches and a purple donut. The kolache was fluffy and flavorful and I'm not sure what flavor the donut was but I can say the purple was good. It was pretty sweet, so I'd recommend if you have a sweet tooth. I was in and out of there in no time - the service was very fast, and the prices are cheap for the portion size. I'd come here frequently if I lived by this place.

Hands down the best donut shop!! I love the Spinach and Feta danish. The staff there is very helpful and friendly. As the store is in a building attached to a gas station there is very limited parking and it is a tight lot.

    So many options!!

I had high hopes for this place because walking in seeing all the donut options plus hearing good things about this place. Sad to say our experience wasn't the greatest. It's a very clean donut shop, and the donuts are delicious! However, service wasn't great. The employee there did not look like she wanted to be there and we ordered 4 old fashioned donuts but only received 3. We realized when we got home. Hoping our next visit is better if we ever go back.

We've lived in the Timberwood Area for about 4 years now and when driving Borgfeld Rd, I noticed "Lee's Donut" and just never took the time to swing by to support local. After reading the reviews, decided to give them a try and "wow", highly recommend. Scale of 1-5 Food : 5 everything was good and fresh. Not to sweet as far as the cinnamon roll and pastry. Service: 5 Rachel at the counter friendly and greeted with a warm smile and very welcoming. Give this small business an opportunity and try for yourselves. Highly recommend

If you're craving donuts, come to Lee's Donuts! They have all types of donuts from cake, glazed, fancy donuts, donut holes, kolache, croissant sandwiches, etc. Prices are good. You can get a donut for $1.10 and a kolache for $2. The donut shop is located next to a gas station. The parking is awkward so be aware of where you park. Overall, it's a nice small donut shop. I recommend to get a kolache! We got a ham and cheese kolache and it was delicious!

I had first heard about Lee's Donuts from a Next Door app post. I'm always up for trying a new place and helping local businesses so I went to check it out this morning. There were at least 5 people at the store trying to get donuts and kolaches. It looks like the word has gotten out! I got the apple fritter for my husband. I also got a couple of the blueberry glazed, a couple of ones with sprinkles, a couple of the maple iced with cream, a cinnamon twist, and a blueberry cake donut. When I got home, I got my coffee ready and tried the blueberry glazed with sprinkles. It was so fresh! I was intending to eat only one but it was so good I ate another one. My husband really enjoyed his apple fritter. I was able to share some donuts with a couple of neighbors too. Glad it's close by. Next time will have to try the kolaches.

New to the area but already the #1 spot in the area! Very good donuts and kolaches. If you like Apple fritter as much as I do, this is your spot. Best I have found way up on the Northside. See more on IG @cheatday_sa

The glazed donut is wonderful. Light and airy and sweet but not sickly sweet. Just a wonderful donut.

This restaurant is beautiful, and the atmosphere really transports you to New Orleans. From the music, to the decor, to the smell of the food, every detail pulls you in. I especially love the street tiles throughout the restaurant with New Orleans street names, they add such a fun, authentic touch. Now for the food: this place gives you something to call your mama about. Start with the classics and work your way through the menu because NOLA absolutely knows what it's doing. The gumbo is outstanding. You can taste the time in that roux, that deep, toasty flavor only comes from patience and somebody standing over the pot for a good long while. Kudos to the stir master, because they nailed it. From the very first bite, you can tell there is real attention to flavor, technique, and ingredients. The crawfish étouffée was another standout. They do not skimp on the crawfish, and the dish is warm, rich, comforting, and full of flavor. It tastes like home. We also tried the hand pies, which had the perfect crispy texture with a moist, flavorful filling. And whatever they're doing with that remoulade, I'm into it. The beignets are a must every single time. We tried the assorted stuffed ones and I absolutely fell for the lemon. Add a mimosa and call it brunch, baby. The DJ playing the best 90s R&B only made the whole experience even better, it fits the vibe perfectly. Overall, this is my favorite spot for Creole-style food in San Antonio. In the lobby for checkin today, I had an instant headache because the fragrance was so strong. At that point they informed us that there is some additional fee per day on top of the already pricey room, a fee that they never disclosed before today. We continued upstairs, and I could hardly breathe in the elevator it was so scented. When we got to the room it was also heavily fragranced. I tried to call the front desk, and the phone in the room didn't work reliably. Our call dropped several times. They offered box fans for us to air out the room. However, when we opened the windows, a blast of cigarette smoke wafted into the room because it is directly above their designated smoking area. We asked the front desk for help, and they said not to worry, hardly anyone smokes in that area. Meanwhile we watched several people out there smoking almost constantly. They offered no other accommodation or help. Not worth it. Very uncomfortable and upset because this will ruin our vacation. Edit: 1 to 3 stars. The manager eventually heard our concerns, responding to a secondary issue with cigar smoke in our room after leaving windows open - their recommendation- to air out the room. They found us a different accommodation and made it more than fair and comfortable. Why not 4 stars? Because it took the entire first day to be resolved.
