Great customer service, easy to use website, and competitive pricing. Love supporting a local company that does a lot for the community.

Countryside Fuel Oil - $1.82 / gallon Stover Fuel Oil - $2.07 / gallon Hummestown Fuel Oil - $2.10 / gallon Capital City Oil - $2.14 / gallon Also Call - Peggy's Fuel Oil I switched after a few years of using Aero. At first I bought a house and just wanted heat. Then, after a few years, I realized I was getting destroyed on their price. Hummelstown Fuel Oil, Countryside Fuel Oil (the cheapest), and... well, basically every other company was cheaper. Not just cheaper. DRASTICALLY cheaper. Possibly hundreds of dollars every couple months kind of cheaper. I let my fixed price contract expire. I did not ask for another delivery or sign up for a new plan. I let it go and went with someone else who was MUCH, MUCH cheaper. They still delivered fuel and left a bill! I complained to them and the Better Business Bureau. Not over the money... that was nothing. I was just disgusted with how they operated and felt it warranted a complaint. They still wanted their tiny $54 (they must be hurting for money). After I said I'd pay, then the future deliveries were FINALLY cut off. I paid it just to get them to go away forever... but talk about horrible customer service. I wonder how long they'll be around if they're bickering over $54. Especially after I was charged crazy fuel prices for 3 years. If you're in their area - call around. EVERYONE else is cheaper as far as I checked. Make sure to try Countryside Fuel Oil!

Almost five years ago, my family fell onto hard times-- I was behind in my budget payment by two months and being responsible; I called them to explain the situation. The gentleman was nice about it and we worked out a payment plan. No problem. I got caught up and called to get back on budget, the hard times were better and was told that no, I couldnt go back onto the budget and that I would need to continue to pre pay and call as needed. And I did, I understood that they needed to see me be finacially sound. I had asked again a year or two ago and still they wouldnt put me on the budget/auto delivery. So here I am almost five years later and two refusals on the auto delivery. We came home from a weeks vacation at Disney and the house is freezing, I let the oil run out. I called this morning to get a delivery and they couldnt deliver any oil today unless I wanted to pay an addtl $150.00 emergency fee. I know the line would need bled and asked if the driver could do that when he came and he couldnt but I could schedule for service and that would cost and addtl $150.00 as well. That was what I was offered. So I called around and found out that a company I had never dealt with is charging 24 cents per gallon cheaper for their oil and if I get on ttheir budget it goes down more. They couldnt guarentee a delivery today, but if the driver got in early he would TRY to come out ( no emergency fee was mentioned) and the driver will be happy to bleed the line (no service call fees). He also stated that if my oil had run out, we could get some diesel fuel and get our furnace going until they got here. I feel like they cared, they were sympathetic and they offered an immediate solution, they could not promise to deliver anything more than Aero did, but the demeanor was much better. For what its worth, I called Areo back and cancelled my delivery for tomarrow and asked for my refund check (I've had a $100 credit on my account for years) and no one asked why.... I told them how I felt about my 18 years of loyalty and the way I have been treated since my financial issues five years ago, and ultimately I was hung up on.

Was originally quoted $2500 for 40 gallon gas water heater install. Sounds good. Guys got there and said I needed power vent installed, ok fine. Price went up to $6800. I agreed not knowing anything but after researching, the power vent and PVC costs significantly under $1K, and a preexisting vent hole was there so no house drilling was required. No electrical required either since fan plugs into outlet. So I paid, at best, $4K for half an hour of PVC cutting/gluing and a few hundred in materials. Asked if there was a discount due to no drilling/electrical and they took $200 off. Can't say I'll be return for business despite good past experiences.

No torque arrestor was installed like previously, the service report says it was installed. Called back and was told wait another month. Company is refusing to make it correct even though we are far within their work warranty. Being threatened a $2000 charge to fix a mistake they made. Company does not stand behind their work. Customer service was very rude. 1 year warranty on labor and they refuse to look at it.
