Shipt delivering for Winn-Dixie. They buy old or expiring food that was discounted by Winn-Dixie and charge me full price. Wow, I call that stealing!! I didn't order old food or discounted food....they advertise as a delivery service but must be a 3rd party broker of old food and we get scammed out of the saving. read more

This was my first time using a delivery service for groceries. Publix is an upscale store so prices are usually higher there so I expected to pay more than discount stores. The delivery and shopping services were from Shipt so I am rating them 5 stars because their service was perfect. I tipped cash but they send an email that allows you to tip after delivery. Awesome. I am placing another order now. I live here but beach vacationers should love this. Fried Chicken to die for! read more

Wish I had read these reviews before trying it out. So lets start with the mystery membership they lie about, the $14 plan. It should charge you for only one month but its automatic and took money out twice in one month. Then the added fees. $7 for going over an amount they dont tell you about, I heard this from a driver. I believe it was under $35 in grocery order, you get charged $7. Makes no sense as you're already paying. I was putting about $20 extra into groceries each time which meant I had to get less groceries. Then there's being pressured to tip your driver at the beginning AND end. I tipped once on a rainy weekend. If you're putting $20 into, what, shipping? you can't afford to tip. If you dont tip you get rotten berries and attitude. I have only tried walmart before this but they were transparent about costs. I'll be trying other methods now. If you have tons of expendable income this might work for you, but if not I suggest trying something else. I'll admit I did actually get food during the hardest times of the pandemic. That's the only good thing I can say. read more

Worst delivery service ever! Keep declining your orders for no reason. Didn't explain its stupid shipping process upfront. Avoid!

So far the deliveries that I've actually received have been good. Unfortunately, that is less than half of the orders. On one, the shopper just didn't deliver. The order was due on the 8th and it is still showing as an upcoming delivery. I can not cancel online since it is "too close to the delivery time" according to the system. It is almost impossible to get through by phone or chat and an automatic response lets me know that it will take 10 days to respond to my email. Two more orders were cancelled at the last minute or past the last minute of the window. The orders that were delivered were fine or better. I will use this for now but unlikely to use it in the future unless reliability improves significantly. Based on other review, this seems unlikely. read more

It is extremely difficult to speak with a customer service representative. This is my second time calling the (205) 502-2500 phone number that is posted on the Shipt website and I've been on hold for almost 2 hours. My first time calling took 1 hour and 20 minutes to get a customer service representative on the phone. I have tried their chat option & the holding time is over 40 minutes which I also waited and an agent never answered. Needles to say it was easy signing up & entering my credit card, but it's hard to cancel my membership. read more

If you're thinking of signing up right now, don't. I am a senior with a medical condition, so going to the store these days is not safe for me. I signed up with Shipt for my safety, not my convenience. I have been trying since last night to schedule delivery of my very first grocery order, but there are no delivery windows available and it's impossible to get anyone on the phone or on chat. I know that there will be delays, but even though I'm stuck at home, I don't have time to monitor the website constantly to catch a delivery window, or to hang on the phone waiting for an agent. I'll probably have better luck calling my credit card company to dispute the membership charge and therefor cancel my membership. If Shipt can't handle the demand, why are they accepting new members?? read more

I have ordered a delivery that was cancelled on THEIR end right at the delivery time after two days wait. They did not rescheduled. There wasn't an option to reschedule it on my end. Nobody called me to reschedule, it either. Nothing happened. I have been trying to contact them. The only way to contact them was phone, chat or email. Either of those options took one. It has been a horrible experience. Finally, I managed to cancel my membership. Please don't waste your time with this service! Find somebody else. read more

I have been using Shipt for 2 + years . I have been overall very pleased with the service. The majority of shoppers are excellent and respond to requests very cordially. I always tip my shoppers because I realize they depend on tips. If you shop at Target, you get store prices and that's a really good deal. It saves me from going to the store in the heat, gas money and wear on my auto. Not to mention lugging the groceries home. Yes, prices at other stores are higher, so I keep those orders to a minimum and buy sale items. read more

I'm beginning to think that their customer service doesn't even exist as I've been on hold for an hour without hearing an actual voice, I've emailed with no response, and their live chat is a joke and disconnects you if you wait for more than 5mins (no not a computer glitch, I tried multiple times). After a truly horrific first experience where the shopper didn't tell me that over half the items I ordered weren't in stock (She only told me about 2 where I told her to just forget about them), she decided to go ahead and spend the money on individual packets of things (instead of the discounted packs) so that it was still just as expensive. I am truly so disappointed in this service that I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

I ordered from Shipt last week, first and last time. On a Mon. afternoon I submitted an order with a 7 pm del. time. Never rec'd order. I called Tues, was told they never rec'd order. I re-submitted with an 11:00 del. time. Groc. never arrived. They called and rescheduled for late afternoon. Got another phone call rescheduling to later evening. Oh, what a surprise, no delivery They called the next morning said they had no one to pick my order, they'd find someone. Again that day order rescheduled 3 times but no delivery. I told the woman who was at first very nice when she called me but got an attitude when I complained. I explained that I'm disabled, cannot go out and shop without help so I was relying on this service. I got a phone call the next morning from a shopper who was actually picking my order. He was great, went over everything on the list and asked about substitutions where items were not available. I understand right now the situation is crazy with the pandemic but I wish they had been honest and told me I would have a 3 day wait. They are not the only delivery service in the area, I'll not be using them again. read more

Terribly disappointed in this company. We'd been using you for a year with good results and vibes. And then you started double charging our accounts and basically told us to piss off. If you don't think $165.00 that you took from my family in a pandemic, is worth honoring, maybe the 22 customers that cancelled your service in Austin is. Little did you know that I work for the biggest grocery store in Texas and actually know more of your "customers" than you bet on and just happened to mention how disgusting your company actually treats it's loyal customers and that there are several more competent services to fill their needs besides this stealing, lying, filthy company. I used this service in Seminole County weekly, over the course of about 2 months. The level of service was excellent. I always received the items I ordered, in good condition, or was credited for what was missing. That said, the monthly fee, in addition to the considerable markup on the groceries themselves removed the cost-benefit for me. We were spending far more on groceries than we could justify, especially given that we can easily place a web order for groceries elsewhere and just pick them up outside. read more

We called shipt to have them deliver a few groceries and everything came on time and it was exactly what we ordered. We only needed it for one time. The next month, they charged our card and no merchandise was delivered, we got in touch we them and let Shipt know they charged our card and we didn't order anything, they said they will reverse it. Its been six months now and every month they keep charging our card, and everytime we calll they say they will reverse it and they don't. They are not to be trusted with your credit card. read more

Used this service for our July trip to Disney. We stayed at a Marriott Resort property (one of those condo type places with a full kitchen and we were there for a week), and since we were arriving so late at night, we were looking for a place that would deliver our groceries even before we arrived. Worked perfectly! I like the fact that you can start a grocery list and save it and continue to add items as you remember you need them (like: oops! laundry detergent!) You then will select an available delivery window, pay for the groceries and you're good to go! Groceries were delivered on time as promised. There were a couple of items that were missing, and once I contacted them, they creditedme right away. The only negative was that the produce came damaged and just didn't last. I'm suuuuuper picky about my produce, so keep that in mind :) If ever in the area again for vacation, than I would totally use this service! read more
