Either that or they misused ClearJel rather than tapioca or corn starch for thickening. It's so thick, it coats the back of your throat, like you've eaten corn syrup poured over smashed raspberries. It doesn't taste like the appropriate amount of sugar was added to the filling either. It does not taste fresh at all. It tastes like one I could have picked up at the grocery store.
