Adam was more than professional in hearing my needs/wants and also explained how the units would work and what appropriate units to use. Estimate was written and was well below several estimates I had gotten already. The equipment that was quoted in estimate was far superior than what other companies were quoting me. Needless to say, I hired Dave and Adam to do the job. The install was professional and very neat and clean. Super happy with the work that was done. Everything from start to finish was super simple and easy. Highly recommend and will definitely use again for anything electrical related in the future.

Big daddy only capped off the outside spigot and never repaired the leak. Then charge him $300. This company is a disgrace. Not only not doing the job , but also but taking advantage of our most vulnerable people the elderly. My brother has been trying to get a receipt for the job so he can put a claim into his insurance company and big daddy is NOT returning any of his phone calls.

The secretary took my message and said she would call back; I received no callback. At 2:00 PM an older man arrived at my home unannounced. He inspected the job for about five minutes, then handed me an invoice for $175. I told him I had not been informed there would be a charge and that their website advertises free estimates; he responded loudly and rudely and demanded payment. When I refused he threatened me -- saying I would "be sorry" if I didn't pay he kept repeating the fact that I would be sorry so what are you going to do are you going to pay me now ???? I said no I don't think I have to pay you because no fee was ever disclosed to me please call your secretary and ask her she never mentioned a fee ....but He refused I tried to reason with him but he kept on threatening me. So he continued to threaten me, and that he would report me to the town for alleged illegal construction if I didn't pay him. I said go ahead so he left. I then called the office to speak to the secretary as I am panicked I said what is going on why is he asking me to pay him and why is he threatening me ?... I said what kind of business are you running ????... this is crazy....and she said oh well I don't know what conversation you guys had .... And so why did you let him in? I said because he was on my door and I was not expecting him. I was caught off guard you never called me to tell me that he was coming and or that there was a charge so you better have a talk with him and He just threatened me . She said she would talk to him when he got back to the office. Afterwards I was completely shocked and traumatized of this whole incident and of this man ... I tried to forget about it all and move on from this but then a week later had a town inspector visit (after a complaint from this plumber); there was no construction and the inspector found nothing. I was completely shocked that he actually did call and the threat that he made was actually true. So what else is he capable of? I was thinking. What kind of a businessman goes around threatening people???... what a despicable human being I thought I have never in my life encountered somebody like him. Only then I I felt the need to warn others about him and tell my story and experience with person and this is why I'm leaving this review To help others . I called Consumer Affairs and I was told there's no license on file for him and that he also has another complaint against him I was like wow this isn't his first time doing this?... I felt so frightened and taken advantage of, especially being home alone. I reported the incident to Consumer Affairs and am considering filing a police report. I do not recommend this business. Be careful who let into your house especially if you are a woman and home alone.

I got up on a Saturday morning and for no apparent reason, I went to the basement looking for…read moresomething. I heard a hissing noise, which I followed and I'll be darned, there was water on the basement floor, which I traced to have been coming from the hot water heater. Panic mode set in. I called a local repair guy and he couldn't come until Sunday. NG. My first call was to Ferguson's plumbing Supply (formerly Blackman's), told them what the problem was, gave them all the specs about my water tank and they said they had it but they were closing at 12 noon. Made several phone calls, and they either went into voice mail or they couldn't be bothered. The main reason was that I was providing my own water tank. Less money to be made. Somebody that was not readily available, recommended Anthony from APV Mechanical. He called me, I told him my predicament and we agreed on a price. He gave me a time frame and his people showed up as promised. After I had agreed with Anthony to do the job, received several phone calls, and when I told them I already had someone, they underbid him by a couple hundred but I had promised Anthony that no matter what, he had the job. Ran like a maniac and purchased the WH, and Anthony and his people installed it in less than 3 hours, and my life went back to normal. Anthony and his people were very considerate, honest, efficient, very affordable, and pretty clean as his crew made sure that all the water was gone and ensure that both, my boiler and hot water heater were working. Based on my experience with Anthony and his company, I would recommend him, no questions asked.

Spent thousands getting a new oil tank, furnace, and hot water heater installed. I've had problems…read morewith every single one of those items within a year of installation. Anthony happily took my money but when it came to the repairs he was nowhere to be found. I've had to have other companies come in and fix his poorly installed work on several occasions because he is unwilling to stand by his warranty. Spend a little more and get someone who knows what they're doing. I have spent double the cost fixing his numerous mistakes and spent an entire summer without air conditioning waiting for him to make repairs. Trust me, run, don't walk away.
