My first time eating at a Persian restaurant in RI! Got the beef soltani platter. The platter consists of beef kebabs and minced meat in the form of kebab over rice. The kebabs were juicy, tender, flavorful and delicious. The rice was quite good too. The portion size was good for 2 people. Overall I enjoyed the food. The only drawbacks are the location and the prices are a bit high.

Fantastic place! My group ordered almost everything on the menu and it was all fresh and delicious! Everything from the grapes leaves hummus and bread to the rice, salad and shish kabob was spectacular! The place is small and cozy and exceptionally clean. The staff are warm and welcoming. I felt like I was visiting family. I will definitely go back for more!

Amazing food. As an Iranian American I can vouch that this place is legit! Definitely try this place out!

Great food. Would highly recommend if you are in the area. I will definitely be returning to try the other things they have to offer.

Great Persian restaurant only one in Rhode Island however has very good food. My fiancé is Persian so finding this cuisine is very tough as she is very picky. The staff is very nice. The Kabob is good! They had ghormasabzi which was very tasty. The rice is nice and fluffy with a generous amount of Zaffron and they use a premium brand so it's good all the way around. Nice place to sip on a doohg and eat kabob! 10 out of 10

Finally a Persian restaurant in Rhode Island! This place is awesome. We've ordered takeout twice now and both times delicious. The lamb kabab and chicken kabab is out of this world as is the beef koobideh. Oh and don't forget a side of mast o khiar! Run don't walk to this place!

If you happen to be driving through Pawtucket, Rhode Island, you need to stop here. We have been to many different Persian restaurants in the US. So far it was the best. The food shocked me. It tasted like home. We tried Koobideh, Mirza ghasemi, Khoresht Gheimeh, and Ghormeh Sabzi, they were all delicious beyond measure

Authentic persian food in RI! The owner came out to say hi to my party and even provided us with fresh brewed tea after our meal. I would recommend the lamb kabobs, delicious! The restaurant interior is decorated with cute knick knacks imported from Iran and the meat is grilled fresh to order. Highly recommend this restaurant, worth the drive!

The best Persian kabobs I have had in the US. And the prices are cheaper than anywhere else. The business is run by a super friendly family.

Roksana's Persian Food Saved Our Graduation Celebration…read more I cannot thank Roksana's Persian Food enough. After another restaurant (Caspian Persian Cuisine) unexpectedly cancelled our graduation event catering at the last minute, we were left scrambling just hours before a gathering of 40 people. It was a stressful situation, and we honestly weren't sure how we were going to pull it off. Then we found Roksana's. Despite the extremely short notice, they immediately understood the urgency, stepped up, and delivered. The entire order was prepared on time, complete, and exactly what we needed. They even threw in a few extras, which was an incredibly thoughtful gesture during an already chaotic day. And the food? Absolutely incredible! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our guests loved it, and several people asked where the food came from. What could have been a disaster turned into a memorable celebration thanks to their professionalism, generosity, and outstanding food. It's easy to provide good service when everything goes according to plan. It's much harder to rise to the occasion when someone needs help at the last minute. Roksana's did exactly that. We are immensely appreciative and grateful. They didn't just cater our event. They saved it. Highly recommended, and we will absolutely be back.

The koobideh was more eggy than it was beefy. It almost felt like that there was barely any beef in the koobideh. The second time we also had beef soltany, to give another item a try. This item was alright. You could taste the pomegranate molasses in the soltany. While the flavor was pleasant, I was expecting more char from the kebab (especially from the sugars in the pomegranate molasses) and for the meat to be more tender, after the staff hyped up this particular item. I also don't think that the price of $29 for this item was justified.

The prices here are steep, it's a big reason as to why I don't shop here often. It's a shame because I would love to support an Armenian business.

Atmosphere/ vibe - extremely unprepossessing. Sort of like your grandma's kitchen? But toasty warm, yes! Service - good, pretty prompt. It took a few minutes to bring the order to the table, which I took as a sign it was made to order, almost. Food - ok, but quite bland. The best thing in the stew was the preserved lemon or lime. Wow! Price/ value - disappointing. Paying 3USD for a hot tea, and then when offered more, it showed up on the bill as 6USD. Really? It comes out of the one tea pot/ diluted with hot water. The side of some pita w/butter was gratis. Would I come back? Not sure. On the check was the name Molana, which was the Persian place in Wtown Sq. The owner wanted to retire, but decided to take over the defunct Shiraz Persian Cuisine. Now it's just opened as Caspian Persian Cuisine. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like Molana took over all Persian restaurants in Wtown. Perhaps my expectations were wrong - I had in mind a sort of kebob/shawarma/souvlaki/gyros menu at really good prices. Maybe with Trumpflation, those days are long since gone

All street parking and we had to circle around to find a spot so plan ahead. We got a red wine and the flawless victory cocktail. I got to try a couple wines before committing to a glass. My partner loved his cocktail. Super well balanced and really unique combo of flavors. Both drinks paired well with all our food too. Zucchini pancakes (2/5) - the only miss. The pancakes were not crispy at all and ate very mushy. The carrot curry was delish but all the flavors together with the raita didn't really do it for me. White bean hummus (4/5) - amazing flavor and the little sesame ring it comes with was yummy. The texture of the hummus could have been smoother though. Sugar snaps (5/5) - perfect sweet and salty balance and really great texture from the quinoa. Good creaminess too. Octopus souvlaki (5/5) - well charred octopus and tender. The flavors were rich in flavor. Yellow split pea was a nice creamy base. Revani snack cake (5/5) - we almost didn't get dessert but glad we did! It a citrus pound cake with a pineapple glaze and a spiced macadamia crunchy topping. Served chilled. Very yummy and not too heavy. Overall very happy we tried this place.
