This is my second time here. First time was in the beginning of the pandemic when I was in town for work. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about. I called to make sure they were open. I was told to come through the smoke shop side to order. Yes, I was asked to pay first but that's fine ($25). The owner told me which booth to sit. I ordered watermelon and mint. Flavor is perfect. The smoke shop has a large variety of products. The hookah lounge is clean. I tried one other hookah lounge in the area before and wasn't impressed. I'll always pay for good quality shisha and this is quality. I'll be in the area monthly for work and will definitely visit when in town. read more

After driving by this place a few times, I definitely put it on my "try" list. I stopped by with a couple of friends around 9:30pm on a Thursday night. It was fairly empty. The set up is a bit interesting. You have to order the hookah at the smoke shop and go sit down next door. My friends and I decided to share a mango & lemon mint hookah for $25. They made and brought the hookah to us pretty quickly. It tasted good! The atmosphere was super chill. They had music playing and there's a decent amount of seating. We were pretty much one of the only groups in there, so it was really intimate. The hookah lasted for over 2 hours and they changed the coal a few times. Although it's in a shady-looking area, the hookah and music here are great. I would recommend stopping by if you're in the area. read more

I have always wanted to try out this hookah lounge ever since I used to live in the Arden area. I wasn't sure how it was, but I decided to check it out during my visit to Sacramento. Upon first entering, there is a shop where you can buy all of your smoke needs and requirements from vapes to hookahs and accessories to ganja accessories; this place is like a one stop smoke shop. I only came to partake in their hookah lounge though and to get set up with some shisha and my own hookah. The owner is very nice and he gave me a menu of what shisha flavors they have. I ended up choosing Red Gummi Bear and it was delicious! In the lounge there are long couches for you to sit on with TV's along the walls as well as a WiFi setup for you to connect to. You can even use your Youtube app to play music videos and be your own DJ. I came at a time when no one was really in the lounge at about mid-afternoon on a weekday. My coal refills were free and a hookah will run you about $20. This is the going price in the area it seems so it's not a bad deal. Overall, I give The Shisha Lounge a thumbs up! When I entered the place, I was received as a very unwelcome guest. The owner seemed in an extreme rush to charge me, and he kept pushing me to order the Huka. Finally, I was seated, and the Hoka arrived. In the pandemic time, the Huka was served with used pipes equal to death in the Covid-19 era. The flavor was terrible and hard to smoke. It looks like they have no idea of customer service. I was wondering that why this place is empty. No wonder why because the service and flavors both were terrible. If there is another option, please utilize that before wasting your resources and time here. The cost of one Huka is close to thirty dollars, and it doesn't worth a dime. read more

The owner lets you play your own music off your phone through Bluetooth!! Now how cool is that? I mean, I must say you must have an open mind to others who play their music as well. The owner is a pretty nice guy who offered me free water bottles, which i tried to pay for. Each hookah is 20 bucks each, more than 15 flavors to choose from. The seating area is pretty comfy and spacious, plus disco lights! The area of this location is semi "ok" and parking here is pretty bad. BUT had a great time here, and thats what counts =) read more

The neon blue OPEN sign was brightly lit in the window, and the wind rippled against the fabric roof of the sunlit patio. I walked in the propped open door to find a completely empty scene, TV blaring from its perch on the back wall. The chairs and booths looked like they had the potential to be the cozy nooks we hookah lovers enjoy, and dimly glowing icicle lights created a homie atmosphere that was offset by the large black and white signs (reading announcements such as NO DANCING ALLOWED and ALL SALES FINAL) and general dishevelment of the available seating. I walked through to the back, noting the typically small kitchen half covered by a falling curtain, and calling out "Hello!" while contemplating the possible start of a Sacramentan zombie apocalypse. Through a haze of piney smelling smoke, I hear a voice greeting me, and when I asked if they were indeed open- a man appeared in a far doorway to say they were open. I started to ask about parking (my original reason for looking for the proprietor was to ask about parking because the front lot had only three parking spots, two of which were taken and one other a handicap parking spot), but he cut me off. "For hookah?" he asked abruptly. "Well, yes," I replied hesitantly, wondering why an employee of a place named the Shisha Lounge would ask me that. "No, we aren't open for hookah." At this point it seemed fruitless to indicate the lit open sign, the (literally) open door, the blaring TV. Whatever this place IS open for, the name is clearly not a part. read more

Rude person running this place. I needed to get away for a little and we came here at 1:20 and they wouldn't let us in. Because they close in 40 min. Update:: We weren't intoxicated btw I feel the owner calling me that is disrespectful. You have no sign on the door or anywhere saying that you don't take people the last 30 min. If it were possible, I would give this place negative stars. I ordered an item (disclosing my credit card number) from "Blow and Tell" smoke shop in early December as a Xmas gift. Never received it and never heard from the vendor. I contacted them several times, but was always told to call back or got no answer. After doing some online research, heard from other people that they never received their items either and were charged months later. The same thing happened to me and I was charged by Shisha Lounge about two months after placing my never fulfilled order (which has to be some kind of fraudulent partnership with Blow and Tell, being that most places would NOT accept a charge without an actual card present). I called them to ask who used my card and was given the same BS nonsense over the phone that I received from Blow and Tell. I would only recommend going to this place if you like dealing with shady people who steal people's credit card information. read more

SO much better than Cobblestone! I came here with a group of friends on a Tuesday night, and the place was busy but not overcrowded. The lighting was really dim and the music was decent. A very relaxing ambiance, overall. Our large group of around 10 people took a while deciding what flavors to get, but the workers were really nice and patient. We ended up getting white peach and green apple. If you went to Cobblestone, you would have to get 5 flavors because you cannot have more than 2 people to a bowl. Here, it was only $15/flavor with no limit on how many people can share the bowl! Such a deal! They also give you a few decks of cards to give yo something to do while smoking your hookah. The seating inside was really comfortable...there are three sofa areas and many tables and chairs all around. They did not really check on our coal, which was a bummer, but from the other reviews it seems like they usually do and this was probably an anomaly. When we moved our group from the tables to a sofa that had just cleared up, the employees were really nice about it and helped us move our things. When they closed, they did not try to rush us out but allowed us to finish up on our own time. read more

The Shisha Lounge! I was in the sacramento area for a prep course and had to spend a night here for a weekend. After a long 8 hour crash course I was ready to crash but I needed to prepare for the next day's 8 hour class... at the same time it was saturday night and after such a long day I wanted to unwind. I stumbled about the bright neon lights of "The Shisha Lounge" and thought what better way to unwind than to smoke some hookah while skimming through notes. Alone and looking like a hopeless friendless nerd I walked in and sure enough these guys took care of me. Great tasting hookah and the set up is perfect for those looking to hang out with friends or even a hopeless looking nerdy looking guy like myself this night; its the perfect spot. Came here on a Tuesday night with some friends just looking for a place to relax while visiting our friend in Sacramento. To our surprise a good amount of people came. The lounge was very chill and relaxing and had a lot of space. They have chairs and comfy couches to sit on and smoke your hookah. The lighting was nice and dim and the music was on point. They also have a little dance floor. The hookah flavors all tasted good, my favorite was Blue Mist. And the pricing is very reasonable because they don't charge by person, they charge each time you change your flavor. So if your looking for a place to chill and smoke some hookah without it being too crowded and expensive, bring on the party over here. Only thing I would like this place to have added is a bar so us 21 and up folks can get our drank on. But other than that it is a great place to come relax and chill. read more

Previously, this place used to be one of my top places to go for a hookah. However, either there is a new owner or what, but the last time I went here, it was a horrible experience. The owner, an older gentleman, kept raising prices on me and my friends during the day, even though the price was set at $15/hookah. He kept saying that because I had 3 friends with me, that he needed to charge another hookah, but two in my group were not going to smoke. $30 for two people to smoke? They are open during the day if I have a lunch break or I want to take a study break from school (sac state) so that is awesome! I would come here with friends every weekend and have a really good time! This hookah lounge was more of the decent ones I've been to around Sacramento. They actually check I.D. and when you enter it is a nice atmosphere of dim lighting and comfortable chairs. The price here is wonderful as well!! $15 for a bowl and up to 3 people per bowl. Second, we walked in and their air conditioner was broken and they had fans on the ground (IT WAS 100 DEGREES THAT DAY) the one and only guy tending to us took forever to give us new coals!
