The interior is perfect, dim, but not to hide anything - the place is immaculate. The seats are plush, the music is on point, and the mood is always ideal. Most importantly, the hookah HITS. Never harsh. They know when to bring new coals and the mixes are always on point. If you don't want to bother with the menu, just have them choose for you. I've never had a bad mix. This is a great place to chill during the week, and on weekend nights they have the best shwarma food truck and the occasional belly dancer. Super chill music, comfy seating, great lighting, and the staff takes special care of the regulars. They actually make you feel welcome, which is rare. But the weekends! A whole different vibe in the best way. The belly dancer shows are SO fun full of energy. My girlfriends and I get dressed up, do a whole photoshoot order our favorite flavors, and vibe all night. It's classy, safe, and full of other girls just having a cute night out. The hookah is always smooth, the flavors actually taste how they're supposed to, and the workers check on you. Came here on a Saturday during the day and it was dead but that's how I like it. Server was very attentive and got us our hookah quickly but the hookah was just ok. It wasn't hitting nor pulling properly. We opted to change out flavor thinking that would help. He changed it but then charged us for it. I thought that was weird but hey. It's been some time since I've been to Darna, but I stopped by with a couple friends to end our night with some hookah. For a Thursday evening, they weren't busy at all. We ordered the #7 Classic Mix ($25) and #14 Brainstorm ($25). Since the last time I've been here, prices increased by $2 per hookah. That's a pretty big jump. And definitely higher than other hookah spots in the area. The hookah tasted fine but it's consistently been an issue to get a good "hit" from the hookahs here. They did change the coals every now and then, which I appreciated. But overall, spending $50 on regular hookah isn't that worth it, in my opinion. It'll be a while before I consider coming back since there's so much other competition in Sacramento. read more
