This previous dentist *cough* Swish *cough* up charged every single thing for the cleaning, told me I needed to replace every single filling in my mouth, and quoted double the price for a night guard than what I eventually got from Enamel. I went in to get a check up because I hadn't been to a dentist in quite sometime and from the very start I was comfortable, which is very hard to find especially in a dental office. I was able to fill out all my paperwork online before my appointment which made for an easy and quick check in. X-rays that were taken were a breeze. I was sat in the dental chair and got offered to watch Netflix which I loved because I do not enjoy the sounds at the dental office. When the doctor came in she introduced herself and proceeded to go over my medical history with me, which I thought was very considerate of her. She then did her exam and took a bunch of pictures and then proceeded to go over with me all her findings. The dental assistant then came back in the room and went over with me my insurance coverage and how much I would be charged for anything that I wanted to get done. I decided to go ahead and get all the work I needed done. Everything was painless. Check out process was quick and easy and even got a little goody bag to take home! I made a first time appt with Happi Dental when I decided to switch from my old dental insurance policy to an Aetna dental savings plan. My regular dentist (who is an exceptional practitioner), did cover this particular plan and so I would have been out of pocket for the tooth cleaning. Instead of spending $120 out of pocket expense, I decided to go with an in-network dentist. This was a BIG mistake. First off, both on the phone and when I walked into the office, I mentioned that I did not want x-rays because I have a condition called mandibular tori (basically where there are exposed bones under the tongue from Jawbone stress due to teeth grinding and clenching or bruxism) And also I did not want any out-of-pocket expense which would have been defeating the purpose of going there in the first place. I was repetitive with my communication and I ​was VERY clear and up front about this and I mentioned several times (at least 4 or 5) that I did not want any x-rays. On the phone, to the receptionist, the dental tech and the dentist as well. Epecially with the fact I was Not going in for any major or specific dental work that day, it was only a routine teeth cleaning. Seems pretty obvious, reasonable and clear, right? ... But then the dentist and tech told me that they could not perform a cleaning without taking x-rays. Here is where they went wrong. Not only did they take X-rays which, by the way she did a good job at not putting the mouthpiece in my jawbone and did the best job she could even with help from the dentist, and yes they were diligent with that part of the experience. As well as with the cleaning, they did a great job with the teeth cleaning itself, I do have to mention that part. ... However, they failed to mention that they were going to charge me $230 for this. If I had known that, I would have walked out right then because I specifically said not only did I not want x-rays because they hurt, but also being as I did not want any out-of-pocket expense. (I just spent thousands of dollars on my mouth with dental work and braces and I was not looking to spend any more for at least another 6 months) ... But did they listen to me and follow instructions? No. Not only did they charge me over $230 for the visit, they also forgot to send me the x-rays to me email that I specifically asked for twice before I left. And when I wrote them when they asked about my experience and explained what had happened, instead of offering a refund they mentioned that it was " their company's policy" (they did eventually apologize though saying they were very short staffed and busy though) They failed to mention at the time of the appt before, during or after the cleaning. Of course until it was time to pay. I didn't have the energy to argue so I just paid what was owed and left absolutely furious! If I had known this beforehand, I would have just stayed with my regular dentist who is just awesome, honest and always does great work. And at least he does not take advantage of his dental customers either. At least he had has the respect, professionalism and communication skills to inform me of any charges that will be made right up front! If you're going to schedule with this office, make sure you know it front any charges that are going to apply before scheduling the appointment or else they were certainly take advantage of you. And not tell you about the charges up front. I would most definitely Not recommend this establishment and will not be going back again ever due to their lack of honesty, respect, communication and professionalism. And oh by the way, I still have not received those x-rays in the email either.

We got billed huge amounts for simple dental cleaning. After trying to talk to them they offered some discounts, but they still want $186 + $10 late fees. I was fed up and called to pay the $186 but this extremely rude person said she could not accept anything less then $196 and she wouldn't accept the $186 payment I authorized, threatened to send me to collections and hung up on me. Both DrButcher and Murphy are great and I'm happy with all the hygienists, but I'm never going there again.

I worked with hygienists for the last few years who took their time, used the numbing gel for my problem areas, and are easygoing. The hygienists are for the most part awesome. I have teeth sensitivity and eventually found the traditional cleanings with metal instruments too uncomfortable even with gel. In my recent visit, the hygienist did not use enough gel, did not ask how I was during the cleaning, and did not take breaks, despite my documented sensitivity. Her bedside manner was frankly terrible as she also chastised me for my high blood pressure. My pressure is only high at the dentist; this hygienist was too condescending for me to bother explaining. The dentist was also not in the office to review my x rays which just added to the poor experience, which I do want to stress is an outlier for the care here. I have decided to switch to a new office with more modern cleaning methods and hopefully more understanding regarding whitecoat anxiety. My suggestion to new patients is once you have a hygienist you like, stick with them. Caitlin is a new hygienist, and she is very caring and takes her time with the cleaning. The front office staff are also lovely and made the transition to my new dentist a breeze. Overall, I enjoyed my time as a patient here, but am excited by new advances in cleaning that will hopefully be more comfortable for me.

The office staff is friendly and welcoming, and they do their best to work with you. They are upfront about pricing and always tell me what my co-pay/total bill will be prior to any services, making every visit a smooth process. Also, it is easy to schedule appointments. I typically do so over the phone, but this last visit, I scheduled the appointment using the online form and was quickly contacted regarding availability. I also appreciate how they run on-time. I always arrive around 10 minutes before my appointment, and I have always been taken back at the exact time of my appointment. Cleanings take roughly 40 min, then Dr. Jaros comes in the check everything out, and I'm typically back in my car and driving home within 45 min of my appointment starting. BONUS: they offer free teeth whitening for patients with every cleaning! This is the main reason why I started coming to ADW in the first place.

I received a 3D X-Ray of my teeth, and spent approximately one hour where my teeth were constructed via a virtual image. I was able to see my cavities, plaque, gums, and other dental features that were vital to my exam. I received a very thorough cleaning and left the office with plenty of recommendations for my future dental care needs. Very genuine office doing honest work. They offer affordable dental care plans for those who do not have dental insurance (Basic plan was approximately $395 a year that came with two cleanings and an annual dental exam). Definitely recommend for those seeking genuine dental care!

The people answering the phone were courteous, but they had a stern unwavering dedication to nonsensical office rules. They made it nearly impossible for me to schedule an appointment. I read many positive reviews about Dr. Wong online, but it didn't matter because her stringent office management made it so difficult for me to get an appointment. My insurance was going into effect on the first of the month. Well Vero at the dentist office told me she would not even schedule me an appointment until it was in effect. She wouldn't even put my name on the calendar until the insurance company verified me as a patron. So I asked for a cash patient appointment spot until my insurance went into effect, and Vero told me that would mean the staff would have to do too much paperwork to ever be able to change it. They told me it would take days or weeks to change me from cash patient to insurance patient. "Sorry sir, that's an office rule, it's just how it's done." Well, I investigated a little bit because it sounded to me like the staff was just being lazy. And I was right. I called my insurance and changed my primary provider. My new office instantly scheduled me an appointment for the first day I was eligible and told me that changing my insurance info took minutes, not the days that Joyce Lee's office claimed. I shudder to think what would have happened if I had an office emergency. My suggestion is to not even bother with this office.
