We got: Lingcod fish and chips (4/5): Everything was super good, but forgot tartar sauce, and the fish portions could have been bigger Chowder poutine (5/5): since we ordered takeout, the fries and chowder were packaged separately. Came with a generous serving of delicious chowder, and the fries were super crispy as well. Overall, everything was super fresh and high-quality! Would definitely recommend - there is indoor + outdoor seating, takeout, and fresh + frozen fish on sale!

Walked and waited in line to order our food since there were 3 others in front of us. Anyhow, when it was our turn, placed an order for the Lingcod Fish & Chips, Rockfish Fish and Chips, a Small and Medium Clam Chowder, and an order of the Crab Melt on Sourdough. For our drinks, simply got 3 Soda pops. At first we waited at a table outside. But after a few minutes, we decided to walk upstairs and get a table up there instead since it was a bit chilly and very windy outdoors. We had to wait about 15 minutes since there were a lot of people to get our food. Food ratings- Clam Chowder - 5/5: Great! Very tasty!! Crab Melt - 3/5: No flavor! Very bland. Tasted like there was no salt, pepper, etc. Fish and Chips - Fish - 2/5: Bland, no salt or seasoning, Fries - 5/5: Crispy and well fried Overall, besides the Clam Chowder and Fried, the rest of the entrees were extremely bland! Not sure if they simply forgot to put salt and pepper or some seasoning, but they were definitely missing something!! Couldn't really taste much. Portions were good, though.

No! This place was…read morereally disappointing. Came here based on reviews, but I. would caution anyone to steer clear of this place. It started with flat champagne drinks. That's just a fail, and it suggests a place that doesn't bother keeping things fresh. It kind of went downhill from there. We were looking for nice fresh fish and chips, wile we were out along the coast. We live near the coast ourselves, and are no strangers to good seafood. We decided to do the Cod and the Halibut fish and chips. While the halibut seemed fresh, the cod was waxy and looked old, and frankly i found it somehow mildly nauseating. I couldn't bring myself to teat it. The batter was crsipy, but lacked seasoning and tasted really flat (cardboard?). Aside from that, the coleslaw seemed pretty old soggy. Gross. Not impressed at all - some of the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Some people may like this kind of food - but i will actively avoid this place the next time in Astoria. Hard pass. i'm nauseous just thinking back to my experience here. Could hardly get away fast enough...

The halibut was soft and wet rather than dry and meaty. The crab louie salad was underwhelming in both size and flavor. We spent over $60 and didn't feel like we got much. So what is the name of this place?

Estrella's Cheese can be found at Beecher's Handmade Cheese, DeLaurenti, Whole Foods, Madison Market and The Cheese Cellar. My fiance' and I had signed up with a tour group sponsored by The Edgewater Hotel. We met at the Hotel around 8:00am and joined an intimate group of 6 which included a couple visiting Seattle, a father and son duo, the Chef and our Tour Guide. The tour provided transportation and a boxed lunch courtesy of the Chef. The ride down to the Creamery would average around 45 minutes to an hour so Chef supplied a well planned out game which he tested our knowledge on cheese and congratulated the winning team with Max McCalman & David Gibbons book "A Connoisseur's Guide to the Worlds Best Cheese". We didn't win. :( boo. lol Arriving around 9:30am, we were greeted by the entire Estrella Family. Kelli led the tour which took us through their entire operation to how they raise and milk their cows and goats and the cheese cellar where we got a chance to see more than a decade of cheeses. After the tour of the farm, Kelli brought us into the factory. Sanitized, capped and booties on, we were ready to make some cheese! It was so much fun! Having the chance to be a part of the process was amazing! After cleaning up, we headed outside where Kelli surprised us with wine and a table spread of cheeses. It was so fresh! I have never tasted cheese with so much flavor and definition. You could taste the freshness of the farm and the care they take in the process. At the end of the tour, we made sure to bring home a bag of this organic goodness and not to mention, made some great new friends. What a great day! :)
