I selected Davis, and what could have been the start of a great relationship with a local business quickly became a disappointment due to their disinterest in helping resolve a Leslie's end error. Unfortunately the staff and the district manager made it very apparent they could not be bothered with me and tried to pass the buck for the Leslie's error telling me to call Uber, who of course insisted it was a Leslie's error. Uber thankfully told me to call Leslie's Corporate although I had to find that number on my own. Leslie's Corporate confirmed I entered the correct delivery address as screenshots and an invoice show (and as I had explained) and is working to resolve the problem and get me my apparently no longer arriving same day product... Even sending me to Leslie's corporate and a general knowledge of what was going on and some empathy from the local staff could have resolved the issue that morning instead of in the afternoon after a day spent chasing around a $1600 item, mostly for the benefit of Leslie's or Uber; one of whom was going to have to eat the cost with AMEX if they didn't get it back. Regardless of whose fault it was I will not be visiting Leslie's in Davis or getting a quote for pool service from them. I want to work with businesses that go out of their way to help customers, especially when the error is due to their brand.

We attempted to have it serviced at the Vacaville location but the manager was short with us and would not allow us to leave it to be serviced. We contacted Leslie's main office and they suggest we try their store in Davis. We drove to Davis and spoke with the store manager, Paula. Paula was great! She took the time to listen about the sweeper and how it wasn't operating. Paula explained that 1) they would be more than happy to take the sweeper and repair it. 2) Paula also let us know that Polaris is backlogged and slow shipping parts out. 3) Paula said she our keep us updated on the sweeper. Paula called us weekly to update us on what was actually wrong with the sweeper and that the parts had been ordered. Approximately 3 weeks later Paula called and said the motor has been replaced, they also wanted to replace the cord but that had not come in yet. Paula said if wanted to pick up the sweeper we could and they would notify us when the cord came in. We picked up the sweeper and approximately a week later Paula called us again. This time she said the sweeper cord still hadn't came in BUT we were getting a new sweeper to replace the one that was under warranty. I can't say enough good things about Paula and the Davis, Leslie's Pool Supply. I have no doubt that Paula's tenacity and Pierre's, the District Manager's concern for taking care of customers was what led to this positive outcome. We definitely would say that if you live in Vacaville it s we'll worth the drive to Leslie's in Davis. We will be spending our money at Leslie's in Davis. We even brought Paula a present for her great customer service.

However your excuse of being unable to fix the issue is insufficient. On the initial service it was clearly stated which parts were replaced and the reasoning was communicated to the serviceman. If anything it should've helped the diagnosis as the heater had multiple problems that I replaced. Jandy did not troubleshoot with the technician during the visit. The service call went past 5 and the technician said they were closed. He said he would email them and get back to me which he didn't until I reached out to him. Transformer was melted and shorted the board which was replaced. Igniter and sensor was broken and was replaced. I don't think replacing these obvious issues should throw off your diagnostics. If anything if these things weren't replaced it would've caused a longer diagnostic process, multiple service calls and delay waiting for parts. It got to a point where I ran out of ideas and that's why I relied on your 15 years of expertise and was disappointed with the outcome, especially since the issue was something fixable

Their prices were reasonable, and they did not attempt to up sale unnecessary items. Picking the surface and tile was easy thanks to the samples they had in the show room. They also provide the catalog to see other options as well. The quality of work was satisfactory. We have no complaints. Big thanks to the one guy who spent two days installing 2 new skimmers and trenching and piping about 100 ft of new pipe. That man worked extremely hard and I was impressed he did it by himself. They dont do concrete. So if you're doing concrete, make sure you have good communication between your concrete guy and them. Coordinating the two was probably the worst part of the remodel. Nobody's fault, just need to get both contractors on the same page scheduling wise. If you get dark plaster, it WILL NOT be even. They explain this and make you sign. I honestly like the variation in our darker color. But don't be surprised or upset. It happens and its just cosmetic. I waited a year to do my review and we have had no issues.
