Once the pool was back to normal I had to keep using pool tech pros because my landlord pays them to maintain the pool. Well, my pool sweeper recently broke last week. They assured me last Thursday they would come out today and fix it and yet nobody shows up. I texted the number and told them my problem again after they said they would show up today and my text gets left on read. The lady was very nice that I talked to, but they don't follow through with twhat They say they are going to do. nor do they communicate if they can't show up. Hopefully they step up to the plate. I was a client of Bishop Pool Service for about five years. I inherited them from the previous…read moreowner, so they're well aware of my pool being a saltwater pool. That said, it was always a challenge to get them to use salt instead of chlorine when they would adjust chemicals and clean my pool. No matter how many times I asked, they would forget and continue to use chlorine, which unfortunately was too harsh on my toddler's skin. I made multiple calls about this and reminded the technicians multiple times about this, but I would still get a new technician every six to nine months, and I had to start all over again. The two straws that broke the camel's back were: 1. A 30% increase in monthly pricing 2. A new technician explaining that the reason they can't add salt is because it slows down his route I switched over to Ralphie's Pool Service and am already much, much happier. Ralphie's pricing is significantly less expensive, they bring their own pool salt, and they don't even charge you for the salt. Bishop also charges $300 to clean pool filters compared to $100 with Ralphies. Joel (my technician for the past year at Bishop) was awesome btw.

He also went multiple days in a row to get the pool to a good color to be swimmable. David is great at communicating and always gave me updates on our pool's progress which was greatly appreciated, especially since my previous pool person kept me in the dark. I agree Alex was very kind and spent his time attempting to fix the issue. For that reason you can…read morekeep the diagnostic fee to cover his time and effort. However your excuse of being unable to fix the issue is insufficient. On the initial service it was clearly stated which parts were replaced and the reasoning was communicated to the serviceman. If anything it should've helped the diagnosis as the heater had multiple problems that I replaced. Jandy did not troubleshoot with the technician during the visit. The service call went past 5 and the technician said they were closed. He said he would email them and get back to me which he didn't until I reached out to him. Transformer was melted and shorted the board which was replaced. Igniter and sensor was broken and was replaced. I don't think replacing these obvious issues should throw off your diagnostics. If anything if these things weren't replaced it would've caused a longer diagnostic process, multiple service calls and delay waiting for parts. It got to a point where I ran out of ideas and that's why I relied on your 15 years of expertise and was disappointed with the outcome, especially since the issue was something fixable
