This store has a lot to it. There are many divergent things to choose from with a good selection available. Shoes, clothing, accessories, ect. Because of it being a store at the grove don't expect any real deals or discounts but they will have the newest products. The staff was helpful for the most part however one person was not as helpful.. The customer service I experienced today was from a young man by the name of Chika! Cool dude very helpful. I've noticed a lot of the negative reviews are based on Nike policies versus the actual store itself, so my review will be on the location. This store has always given me great customer service. It has 3 floors, very clean, never overcrowded. The selection is decent, I just wish they carted more Airforce options. They rarely have the shadows in, which I get once a year. Either way, they have a huge selection so you'll find something that fits you 9/10 times. Overall, really great location. I'll be back! read more

Let me begin by saying: "Sanai, Sanai, Sanai...Thank You!" I have been an Asics person for decades. I decided to get crazy and drop by the Nike store at The Grove to try something new. The first salesperson was very friendly and I recognized her from the old Beverly Hills location. After trying on a few pairs, I became antsy, bought one and rushed out wearing it because I was told Nike just "wants us happy," so we can return anytime within reason. By the time I finished at Nordstroms, I knew the pair was not supportive enough for my flat arches and this would become the "new" reason for not exercising, so I decided to return them. I waited in line and when it was my turn I told Sanai that I should've just stuck with Asics, that change is really not for me. I explained how I tried on a few but needed more arch support. After refunding me, she asked someone to cover her, took me over to the runners section and handed me a few new pairs to try , explaining she had flat feet too. I was astonished at what a difference this new pair made - and thanked Sanai profusely. If it wasn't for her positive, friendly, personable personality, I would never given Nike a shot and would still be an Asics person. Thank you for caring! I just bought some brand new Nike shoes and I do not have the receipt. Unfortunately I paid cash, but I called the Nike store and I was told they cannot help me because I don't have a receipt. The shoes are making a tapping sound when I step with them. it is the most embarrassing thing you can ever imagine. Cashiers are friendly but the floor staff is half and half - some very helpful and friendly and the other half standing around just talking to themselves. I'm returning to change my review after finding out Nike has 60 day wear and return if you're not happy. plus upon returning my order I received excellent customer service from a very nice younger black lady with braids. BEST customer service I've received anywhere in a long time! She made sure I got my birthday reward I forgot about, coupon, and exchange of the defective shoes. VISITED: Friday (9/30/22) THE EXPERIENCE - 3/5 - HERE'S WHY: I haven't been to this Nike Store in a while but called ahead to check on some shoes in stock. The shoes I wanted were available and I really appreciated the team member (SHOUT OUT TO DOMINIQUE) for holding them for me. When I arrived I was able to get my shoes from a team member (they were being held behind a counter). I went to try the shoes on for size: Air Huarache Colors: Tan, Red, Teal, Grey As I was trying on the shoes I was approached by a team member (I can't think of her name at the time) but proceeded to tell me she could ring up my shoes for me. I thought to myself that it was a nice gesture! After this team member checked me out with the store's hand-held device she went to a register to get my receipt. As soon as she came back with the receipt she says,"scan this." I looked around not knowing what was happening... I scanned the QR code 'as directed to'. A survey popped up. She tells me,"fill this out. It won't take that long". First off, it was the overly assertiveness for me. 2nd, how do you not know I might have some place to go? Assuming I have time right then and there to complete this survey!? Then, I didn't know what to say in the survey because all she did was ring up shoes for me and gave me a receipt. Nothing spectacular. Then the fact that I was made to feel like this HAD to be done before leaving the store I'm like... does this location have some new thing going on or what??? Then I looked around and NO OTHER TEAM MEMBER was doing this. A BETTER APPROACH WOULD'VE BEEN: I would really appreciate it if you could complete this survey for me. It really helps us to know how we're doing at this location and if there's anything else I can do for you, please let me know. Hey... who could say NO to that!? But I would think this was just this particular team member in need of some additional training or a talking to perhaps. WOULD I RECOMMEND? WOULD I RETURN? Despite this random, isolated incident... Lets just say I have had a much better experience in other Nike stores. Maybe the training of some staff members on the third floor will help. Some are really nice! Some need training! Or maybe it's the store management that needs help. They should make sure there are staff members covering all areas of the third floor so that customers do not have to go unacknowledged for a long time. Also, if a staff member is busy with a customer and another busy speaking with a coworker, they could simply page someone else to come and help the waiting customers. Anyway! I had originally given this location a 5-star review due to a couple pleasant experiences making returns. When I visited subsequently, looking to purchase clothing and/or shoes, the staff was by no means helpful. I am a quite obviously a woman and was asked by a female employee if I was looking for male or female clothing when I asked where a particular article of clothing was sold in the store. (My previous review was removed by a Yelp moderator because I mentioned said employee presenting herself as masculine, which is not what I do, so do not project her personal style or lifestyle choices onto me. I stand by my present and previous reviews.) People can be rude, discriminatory and blatantly disrespectful in retail establishments, but when we come to Yelp to warn others so they shop elsewhere as to avoid similar negative/inappropriate experiences, we are flagged. Recently visited the Nike store at the grove the space is really clean and spacious with multiple floors. The merch is well organized. However, I did notice that some of their items seemed to have decreased in quality over the years. Like their track pants and tanks were better made in the past. The customer service is seriously lacking at this Nike location, and it often feels like I'm inconveniencing the employees simply by browsing and just being present in the store. Sometimes the selection is "mehh" and they'll have the same clothes and shoes on the floor displays for months. Other times, I'm pleasantly surprised by all the new styles and colorways. Regardless, the customer service is bordering on atrocious and it needs a major overhaul; if there was another Nike store that was just a bit further away from my house, I'd probably go to that location instead just to see if they have better service, coz the way some of these Nike associates at the Grove treat me and other customers, it makes me feel unwelcome almost to the point where I've considered no longer coming back or spending any money here. read more

I returned two pairs of shoes. The associate scanned the same shoe on both returns and I never received the credit card refund for the 2nd shoe. I spoke with Cristian Rodriguez Estevez who claims to be a manager multiple times and basically he said he can't help me. I've called customer service multiple times to no avail. They say they will email me back but have this has not been resolved and I made the return on 5/29. Horrible company to deal with in this respect. They owe me $148$. I would rate zero stars if I could. They hire young kids who could care less to help. This is my second time with a similar issue. I absolutely hate the customer service I received here , this is my third trip to Nike at the Grove back to back and I've received the same service . I've literally gone to every floor each time and 0-1 people speak to me each time I come . I typically spend between $200 - $500 each time I go in Nike . The only person who spoke to me in the store once I got inside was a manger named Liz in the men's shoe department. This store is always fully staffed and the employees are also happy and cheering and hanging out amongst themselves but not speaking to me , there more at least 5 people in my general area and no one spoke aside from Liz on each floor . So then I get in line and a manger hands me the shoes I had on hold , her name was Katie at first she was extremely nice , getting me the shoes I had on hold for my husband and went In the back multiple times to find the same shoe for me In my size . While in I was in line I was trying on the shoes foe me since Katie handed them to me in line , so I was letting everyone go in front of me , and the sales associate who's name Katie refused to give me was yelling to each customer that I said go ahead to come on she's still shopping I explained to the associate why I was trying the shoes on in line , and that no one had spoke to me expect Liz , so I was just going to leave the shoes but since Katie brought them I tried them on in line The nameless associate never apologized for anything so I asked for her manager. Her manager came and low Ana behold it was Katie . So I asked her could she just ring me up instead because the associate was rude , she hollered out that the type of cats I had would decline for a purchase as large as mines . I told her that she didn't have to say what type of card it was and have everyone in my business , as I was explaining all of that to Katie in front of the associate she was dispersing to Katie about me . So I purchased the items and left . I literally went In Nordstrom to sit down and settle down then I went back into the store and asked Katie what the associates name was and she refused to give it saying she didn't feel like the situation needed to be escalated Then I went upstairs to get someone to find Liz and she was extremely, attentive and apologetic , gave me the store information and the number to corporate , came down stairs to take my return listened some more and apologized some more , and suggested some other stores I could go to , to purchase the same items . I'm extremely upset and offend . I spend thousands of dollars at Nike a mont and I can prove it . I brought my dad here for his birthday and he picked out some great shoes he was happy with. This is due to this older gentleman who worked in the mens section who went above and beyond to help us out. He knows so much about nike products and he was super friendly. I'm disappointed in myself for not remembering his name. I cannot emphasize how friendly and cool he was with my family. We stood to chat for a bit afterwards too. Rude, incompetent staff -- there's no managing of the lines with people cutting all the time and the staff not caring. The staff also shows favoritism to certain customers for no reason and very cold and demeaning to others. I was so excited that I was able to reserve a pair of shoes that I wanted for a very long time for in-store pickup. I drove there this morning to The Grove an hour away. I picked my shoes up and paid for them. I inspected them in the store and saw a ton of quality check inconsistencies. Such as a small cut in the leather near the heel, and multiple Parts on the hill where they're supposed to be black paint that has chipped off or rubbed off and is showing the white underneath. I just want you to exchange them for another pair which they confirm they had in my size. And I was told by an employee and also a manager that they could not exchange the pair. I don't understand that policy if I inspected them in the store and didn't go home. Some of the worst customer service that I've ever received. I will say that they were nice and never had a negative tone with me probably because I was also nice and cordial like I am most of the time but to treat a customer like this and make me walk out with a shoe that cost $240 that isn't perfect it's crazy. They tried to sell me used shoes! When I took them out to try on, there were rocks stuck in the bottom grooves, the bottom tread was significantly worn down, and the insoles were fraying from use. Whoever accepted the return and put them back in circulation should have checked them better. I asked if I could buy them for a significant discount, and they offered 15% off. When I declined they let me know they were just going to take them out of circulation so no one else could buy them (good!). Not necessarily this salespersons fault but I could not believe that someone had accepted this return and tried to sell them again. read more

Terrible Nike store! After 3 bad visits in a row I'm writing this review so Nike actually do something about this store! I like that it's close to me so I want it to improve. Not fail. First of all...most of the people that work here are great! the store gets busy so they work hard but man PUT ON SOME MORE WEEKEND STAFF! You have one of the biggest brands in the world and EVERY time I come in here you seem to have half the number of staff needed to run your business! It's ridiculous! 2nd thing.. for such a huge store you don't actually have much and most of your mens clothes are so straight I would never wear it! Boring And underwhelming!
