Asked for a selection shoe that they had on shelf, worker went to the back, said they do not have it and gave an attitude when I asked kindly if they can please check again. I will never order online from shoe palace again! I ordered Jordan 11 and 12 at the same time, only got the 12s, the Jordan 11 was still missing! Customer service was really bad, they just kept saying that my order will be shipped soon I was told that my order is coming from a different store, for my other order they charged me 25$ for shipping which is supposed to be for two Items! But until now I haven't received any update on my other order, kept calling the customer service many times all I got was the same answer! I sent them email, no response! I came to get the Metallic Black Air Jordan 5s today & even tho it was chaotic and there was a line out the door for the shoes , He was able to accommodate me ! I was having issues on my end with purchase & he was patient & went above & beyond for me ! That meant everything to me ! I would highly recommend you to come here ! Trash trash trash. So on a Sunday afternoon, slow business and it's 5 associates on shift.. one seems like too many people schedule but hey whatever. Two. Everyone standing at the register and haven't greeted one person. Walked around with my daughter and not one person asked me off I needed help or made themselves available to ask for help as they all stood together talking and acting busy. For those of you who may have been scared off by the bad Yelp reviews or posted them yourself, someone in Management heard you because I recently made a purchase and got fantastic customer service. We were asked a couple times if we were finding what we were looking for or needed help. The cashier (Angelica on the receipt) had those employees working! While she was ringing me up there was a small gathering of employees and in a firm but professional manner she dispatched two to help customers that just walked in and one to clean fingerprints off the doorway entrance. She was multitasking like a pro. I even chuckled and made a comment how she was on 'em. She was friendly and efficient. This is in contrast to the times I've been there previously and employees were leisurely and seemed a little snobby. read more

Zero stars if possible. Ok so If you PUT PRICES ON SHOES FREAKING HONOR THOSE DAMN PRICES. I saw these cute green nikes I wanted, price inside the shoe says $49.99.. oh yay what a good price, so I continue to the cashier and the guy rings them up to $80 something dollars. I was like wait inside the shoe it says $49.99.. he looks at them and says oh you're right.. long story short, he said he can't give them to me for that price because it rang up for $80 something.. (I'll post the receipt) but he says I'll give you a 20% . I was like whatever that's fine. But I asked him to double check with someone, he called this lady over and she was no help. They seemed confused starring at the computer, but no help. She said "oh we can't do anything, but he did give you the 20%." Oh yeah, I forgot to mention he took the little sticker off from inside the shoe too. They were cute shoes, so I just bought them. This is false advertising and it makes you so mad. CHECK THE DAMN LABELS AND MAKE SURE THEY MATCH. Customer service sucks here, you guys need to learn how to deal with customers. -I'll stick with champs, since they value customers. Stay away from this place unless you want to feel like you have been robbed or raped. Seriously... my wife purchased shoes as a Christmas gift on Dec 24th. 17 days later, they were prepared to give me a full refund if I had the receipt but would not give me a refund with a gift receipt. This was a problem for me because I didn't care for any of their shoes. Ok, so maybe their website has a better choice! Wrong! Turns out, store credit at the Shoe Palace cannot be used on the internet. So my wife and I come back a week later and just happen to find a pare that I like. Guess what, they no longer cary that shoe. So why the F__ is it on display, if they no longer cary it? So we come back the next week, and the next, and the next but this time with the actually receipt (not the gift receipt). My ask was for a full refund now that I have the receipt, being that I returned the shoes 17 days after purchase, and were prepared to refund me then, they should be able to refund me now, right? After all, they do have their product and my money. Wrong!!! So the manager... instead of helping me, calls out an employee to help solve the refund puzzle. This girl was rude and unprofessional to say the least. After bickering with her for about 10 minutes, on why they cant refund my money, I decide to look around. Finally, I find something I like and it looks and fits great! Guess what, oh snap, the manager tells me that their system is no longer accepting store credit!!!! This place has my money. They have their product and I have nothing...just a useless receipt and store credit that they will not accept and cannot use anywhere!! I cant use on website or in store. Went into multiple shoe stores and they didn't have what we were looking for. This place did, and if they didn't I would NEVER have purchased here. 1. None of the employees wear name tags- this is a huge no no when coming to customer service. 2. Pretty sure the guy who helped us was higher then a kite because he couldn't remember who asked him for what shoes. Nice guy and did give us options. 3. Don't ever call a customer "Bro" I'm not your bro, very poor service. 4. Don't tell my kids anything for standing by the door (to the stock room). They are 5 &8, shopping for shoes. Excited, so if you don't want kids standing by the door then don't put their shoes there. Simple fix. 5. They were arguing with each other and speaking to each other rudely, arguing over what the other was doing. Big hoop earrings and huge gages aren't professional. Maybe I don't shop at Shoe Palace enough but I do know the Milpitas store is like this. This store has bad reviews already but they need to do some major revamp of the employees. 6. read more

I walked in with my family looking to purchase a gift for my mother-in-law. There was no one on the floor to help. One employee walked past us so we asked for help and he responded by saying "I'm off" and just walked away. Didn't bother to even grab someone else to help us or say sorry, I'm off, but I can grab someone else for you. Whoever is the manager in this location needs to train their employees better or hire better read more

So I came in today to get some shoes for school, and while the girl was looking, one of the associates on the floor told her to "just tell them that we don't have them" and come back onto the floor because he needed help. Just so happened I was sitting at the door waiting for her to come back with the shoe so I heard this. I saw her still pretending to look, but she came out less than a few minutes later, and low and behold, she tells me "I couldn't find it". When I asked if she could try another size, she proceeded to help someone else instead and then afterwards help me. I already waited for her to look for the item, and now I left without what I needed. I really wish I got everyone's names today. The service is no better than what it use to be, it's still hopeless. I came in to "shoe palace" today to buy some fashionable comfortable gym shoes. I found a pair that were decent. I tried them on and as I took them off the insole completely came out. I checked the other shoe and same thing. These shoes were on sale ($10.00 off) So there was a table with different sizes. Each and every size of the same shoe, the insoles completely came out of these Nikes. I asked the sales associate if there was anything they could do. As I like the style of these shoes, I figured it was worth a try to see if they could at least give a discount. She replied, " let me ask my manager". Returning she said we can't do anything because this damage was from a customer, looking at me accusing me of defecting these shoes as if I was just trying to get a deal. I didn't let her know that each pair had a manufacture defect. I have integrity how dare you shoe palace for not treating your customers as if they do. I'm not paying full price for a pair of sneakers that I need to go buy some gorilla glue and try to glue them together at home. I walked into the Shoe Palace at new park mall a few days ago and inquired about the Jordan 1 Fearless that were in the window. An employee said all we have is that size 14, then in the same breath said I have 2 pair at home in your size sell you one for $240. I was like WTF! I calmly declined her $80 mark up walked out and called another store to have the district mgr call me back. Shortly there after i got a call. I explained what had happened he informed me that he would check the video at the store and get back to me. The next morning he called saying there was egnough on the tape to back up what i said that he would make sure it was handled. HERES THE KICKER! I shot him a text asking to purchase the fearless at retail. NO REPLY! Next day i get a call from another DM telling me he would have them shipped to the store by Friday for me to buy at 100% retail of $160 plus tax. No apologies, no discount not even a bottle of cleaner. What happened to customer service? Now tomorrows friday so i have yet to buy the shoes. I will post an update tomorrow if and or when the shoes arrive. This is not a reflection of the store in general just sharing my personal experience with their upper management 1 sales person.
