Compared to other optometrists I've gone to, where they're very eager to sell you on something, this office clearly cares a lot about the happiness and comfort of their customers. They offer take home contact samples to let customers take some time to figure out if they like the comfort or fit, which I've never experienced before in my 20+ years of wearing contacts. The staff is professional and friendly and the optometrists are super nice and thorough. The staff also are happy to sit down and explain to you your insurance.

She was incredibly patient and let me try on as many frames as I wanted without making me feel rushed. I also appreciated that she never tried to upsell me on the more expensive name brand frames. Instead, she focused on helping me find something that fit well and looked good, regardless of the brand. She was also very transparent about what my insurance covered and took the time to explain my options. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would recommend Delta Eye Care!

The representative behind the counter doesn't acknowledge you until you walk up to the counter, not friendly at all, and no greeting at all. The receptionist has a nasty attitude, no smile, and looks like she hates her job. The other desk workers stay working and don't know how to greet as well, making you feel not welcomed. Also, the pricing for things are over priced. But, the price doesn't matter, I believe customer service matters most. I definitely will not be a return customer!

They are considered in-network for me but then did not accept my insurance for contact lens exams... I ended up having to pay the private price. I thought this was BS and should have been disclosed when I made the appointment. The lady in the front also doesn't know what she's talking about and had to call someone else for help. Also when I called to make an appointment, they said they'll call me back and took down my number. They never called me back. The doctor herself is good and kind (forgot her name but she only started in Dec 2023). But the front end is unprofessional and borderline dishonest. I won't be coming back here

While Zinni probably has the best prices, I still missed being able to try on glasses and have someone else help me select frames. I found the best of both worlds at this store. No long lines like at Costco, better frame selection than Walmart, and better pricing than either of those so-called discount outlets. I received personal attention and fittings, selected a nice pair of frames, and received my glasses within a week! I was also thanked for supporting a local business which made me feel good. The staff was…read moreextremely helpful in explaining my insurance coverage and walking me through all available options. Dr. Tung is an outstanding doctor--highly knowledgeable and dedicated. She took extra time to ensure I fully understood my condition and the possible treatment options. She also examined our 8-year-old daughter and was wonderful with her. Our daughter genuinely enjoyed her eye appointment! The only downside was the limited selection of eyeglass frames. The only luxury brand they carried was Gucci, and even that had very few options. Despite this, I highly recommend Dr. Tung, she is one of the best in the Newark area!
