As soon as I got to Staten Island, I asked my cousin if she knew of a good cobbler and she recommended this one. I walked in and asked if they could repair my heel and have it ready by Friday. They did me one better and said they could have it ready by 3:00 (same day!) I asked if they could also polish them and they said yes. I ran some errands and just picked them up and they look almost brand new! While I did like the rustic look they had prior to me bringing them in, I much prefer them polished! The shine really brings out the color. The heel they replaced them with is even better than the one it came with. It's an anti-slip heel, which is clutch for me because lord knows I'm not always the most graceful. I have to give them props for their amazing customer and their stellar work. I'll def keep them in mind when I come to visit and need shoe repairs!

Paul asked me to send pictures of the damages so he could quote me properly due to the amount of work involved. We agreed on a price and even the amount I had to leave for deposit wasn't an issue. He wanted to make sure that I would trust his judgement and value his work. Paul said to give him a week and he delivered it to me in 5 days time! Be sure to always ask him what the store hours are, as he unfortunately is experiencing flood damages to his work space. How he was still able to fix this wallet for me in such dire conditions, I'll never know. He's chatty and friendly, and could use more foot traffic as this kind of work is clearly dying in the industry. He seamless repaired my coin purse compartment that kept leaking coins all over my bag, as well as the bills compartment that was fatigued. The work is perfect; beat that 5th ave!
