I think the popularity of this food hall is more a function of Doral's appetite for a niche dining experience, rather than the food itself. I've had a couple reasonably nice meals here with my wife. Nothing has been terribly memorable, yet the place always seems packed. Parking in the prepaid automated lot is challenging. Despite there being a dozen or so restaurants, there are few interesting choices. The Asian and Italian options weren't bad, but for the price, I prefer a full service experience. Food halls are great for those who can't agree on where to eat. It's expensive for casual dining, and too informal for fine dining. I think the concept still needs to mature before becoming a regular viable dinner option. read more

Great idea to have a food hall like this in Doral. Doesn't seem like it was well thought out because there are just not enough seats inside to fit all the people who eat here. Aside from seating being very difficult to find on a Saturday night, the food is delicious. Had chorizo croquetas which were good and tuna on sticky rice which was delicious. For a meal we got the lamb, chicken, and steak skewers that comes with rice and salad. It easily feeds three people. The chicken was my favorite and the salad was so delicious!!!! They came with great sauces as well. Ended with the Oreo cake which was good but would get another flavor next time. Also the slices are $20 and massive so very hard to finish. They have a bunch of new vendors which I am obsessed with, and of course, the OGs such as PokeMIA, which never fails me on the poke and boba tea, but I loved trying their new vendors. I declined reheating because cold wings shouldn't be served in the first place. The night manager told me she processed a refund and said not to worry, but I was not given a receipt or any proof of the refund. As of early January, after repeatedly reaching out to Shoma for an update, I have received no response. I eventually disputed the charge with my bank, but the dispute was denied because Shoma claimed I was responsible for the food--even though I never ate the wings. I've come here a few times over the past year and the variety of foods have made it a good option to dine out with friends. So far, I've tried foods from Shahs of Kabob, Doce Provisions, and Sweet Manifesto. Shahs of Kabob: I've tried a few of their kabob plates including the Joojeh Sultaini and Koobideh. The kabob meat is notably tender and well-seasoned. Definitely a place I like ordering from whenever I come here. Doce Provisions: Masa De Puerco Chino (pork fried rice): Good tasting, pretty to look at, easy to share. Sweet Manifesto: The giant cake slices are definitely a looker and sure to wow the table. Definitely pricey though as they're $17 a slice. Their popular desserts also include their milhojas (pastry layers with vanilla bean pastry cream and dulce de leche, $9) and their creme brulee cheese cake ($10.50). The milhojas was satisfying with the contrasting textures of the flaky pastry and the soft fillings--just brace yourself for the sweetness with the rich dulce de leche. The creme brulee cheesecake was also good, equivalent to Cheesecake Factory pricing though I'm not sure if it's as big of a slice. I inquired since my friends have a nut allergy, and the staff was adamant that they are quite strict about preventing cross-contamination, so that was quite reassuring for them. They advertise having happy hour 4-7 pm everyday. Keep in mind that the gratuity might already be accounted for in the check when you pay. In the past, parking in the garage used to be free for the first 2 hours, but when I most recently went, it was $2 for 2 hours instead. Not bad compared to other garages, it just was disappointing since it used to not be like this. The ambience is clean and modern, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Overall a great place to go if you're dining with friends and you want a variety of different foods. Shoma is a food hall housing really great restaurant spots such as Doce Provisions, Shahs of Kabob, Sushi Sake, amongst others. They have a really pretty center bar with awesome cocktails such as the Fruity Pebble. The beauty is you can sit and order from all the vendors from your phone and they will deliver to your table or you can pay at the vendor and wait for your order to pick up. I've tried all of the above mentioned vendors and the desserts over at Sweet Manifesto are such a hit. The cakes slices are huge and great for sharing. Parking can be a little tricky. I recently visited Shoma Bazaar with a friend who had been raving about it since he visited a month ago. Let me tell you, he hit this one right on the nail. This is an upscale food hall in Doral serving quality meals at affordable prices. There is something for everyone whether you are in the mood for pizza, ramen, falafels, or a sweet treat. The hall itself is designed with spacious seating, modern decor, and accessibility for all. They have indoor and outdoor seating and if you are lucky you can sit on the swing chairs while you enjoy your meal. They also have a beautiful bar serving almost any drink you like. Parking is easy to find in the garage right next door but you do have to pay through an app. I have come here twice and tried the mushroom pizza from Feroz, veggie ramen from Shimuja, mushroom tacos from Bandidos, and the banana pudding from Sweet Manifesto. I have nothing but good things to say about all of these spots because their food was fresh, made with quality ingredients, and had flavors that are hard to find in other places in South Florida. The service was also excellent, especially at Shimuja where the staff gave our party an extra meal for free out of the kindness of their heart. I wanted to like this place but it really just gives me an unwelcoming energy and weird vibe. As a first timer, I walk in not sure how anything works. You walk by the stalls no one acknowledges you, or even just smile your way or make eye contact. Eventually I use context clues that we can sit down and order. So this was my first time at this location. A fusión type restaurant in Doral. So parking is not a big issue but a bit confusing. You must park on the garage in the back to the right. You must pay for parking on the app that is on the wall. Don't be intimidated by the sign on the parking spot. You could valet your car as well but I recommend the parking in the garage. The locale is quite large, and there is no meet and greet as you come in to have that sense of welcome. Nonetheless, it is quite big and exciting as there is plenty to see. The staff is friendly if you ask a question. Finding a seat is what you see open, and there are various types of tables to sit. Menu is via QR code on each table, and if you are going with a second person, then one looks up while the other places the order. You pay right there and then, and the food is taken to your table. If you don't know, ask the servers as to the portions or options. Food was quite presentable and the selection quite extensive I sugges you look at the menu in advance to have an idea of what you want. It would take a good 15-20 just to decide. Drinks are simple, but the alcohol you have to get at the bar. Their selection is between a mix drink beer and wines. A bar server starts after 6 pm. The atmosphere is about you and what you are doing there. No one is going to bother you, and it is your time. But be sensible to others as the place does get busy towards the night time. The only drawback is the lack of water, which you buy as it is bottle water there is a fountain but you have to walk to the other side to get it. Meet and Greet is not there, so walking inside is quite a little challenge because you don't know where to sit unless someone has been there before and guides you. The bathroom should be marked so that it is easy to recognize its location. Would like to commend on the professionalism of the servers. The fancy food court thing has been around for a while. I remember going to a couple in Europe when I was younger and didn't have little children anchors We came here on a Monday night for my cousin's bday and found seating to be troublesome mainly because we were a large party. I really enjoyed the variety of options. My sister got a chicken platter to share. It was $38 but it fed a bunch of people and I'm a huge fan of waffle fries. We got a burger(really good) and the tuna nachos(not good at all). We also ended up getting my son a $11 Oreo milkshake. What happened to the $5 shake being expensive. My son was celebrating his wife's birthday and they brought in a cake.. immediately they stopped them at the door as if he was bringing in contraband. Then when my son goes and talks to the manager, asking where he can buy a cake., they took him to purchase a cheesecake which she does not eat. He asked if there were any other options because he wanted to buy a cake. They insisted that it was that or a crêpe. He asked if they would make an exception and the manager said no, and they were not allowed to even pay a service fee for having the cake cut or serve served. Walking in, my jaw dropped. Shoma Bazaar is visually stunning, a feast for the eyes. My heart was happy merely walking inside this impressive building. Eye candy! The rose ceiling, the creative bar, the swinging chairs- everything is decorated with care to create a very welcoming space. Way to put Doral on the map! Add the food on top of this?! I stuffed myself on items from a few of the vendors. Hand pulled noodles from InRamen and the lobster roll from PubBelly were definite standouts. I was able to try this place on a spontaneous night. I was soo confused when I walked in because it's literally like a market inside but a fancy good looking one. They have plenty of restaurants available from you to pick and the variety is wide, from pizza to burgers, Mediterranean food, and sushi. In the pictures below you can see what the cheese guava croquettes look like as well ass the guacamole tostones and tacos. All three plates were delicious!! They have some craft beers but not too many options. There is a bar in the back you can also order from. When you sit at the table you are able to order your food through the website and a food runner will bring you your food. As per drinks they're cocktail waiters walking around ready to receive your order. There are some cute pictures spots, have your camera ready. I have zero complaints about the food and ambiance it's self. Beware of parking!!!! You have two free hours after the two hours make sure you pay on time! This is my second time here and I was craving noodles so of course I had to try Sriracha house. In terms of flavor it wasn't what I was expecting . I think it lacked some sauce and I wasn't a fan of the takeout box in came in because I was digging for pieces instead of eating it out of a bowl. I came here during a work trip to Miami/Doral and was so bummed when it was time to go. I wish I could've gotten food from every spot. We ended up getting food from InRamen, Pubbelly, and Poke Mani. The Ramen was the best ramen I've ever tried and would 100% order it again if I were to go back there. TBH I didn't know I was dipping the roll in butter until I pulled it out and saw it was not the color soy sauce should make it...but one bite in and I wasn't mad about it. We arrived pretty early on a Wednesday (before noon), and had the whole place to ourselves, though that quickly changed and once the lunch rush hit this place was packed! Honestly I really liked the vibe of this food hall! I loved the versatility of seating available. They had table, booths, hanging chairs, bar seating, inside/outdoor seating. There was also plenty of space so it did not feel super tight even though there was a lot of people. It could be overwhelming at first because there are a lot of food stands to pick from. My recommendation is do a walk-through, find a table, and then scan the barcode from your table to order everything from one place versus ordering from every stand. I went with family and we were able to order from many of the places but the top items were the Korean Potatos from Pubbelly Sushi, the Nico burger from the burger stand, the Hawaiian pizza, and the cheese croquetas. The food was a bit pricey but everything tasted really good! Portion wise it depends on the food stall you order from. I also really enjoyed the music the DJ was playing. Met up with my tried and true Elian D. there. Have to say I was shocked at where this was. It's relatively close to CityPlace Doral, and moreover, I used to drive by this area ALL THE TIME. It never struck me as a place suited for a food hall, but hey, what do I know? This is working thus far. Parking is valet or garage parking. No idea how much valet is, but garage parking is free for the first two hours, then $2-something per hour after that. You can pay by the PayByPhone app. As for the food hall itself, what can't you find in there? You have so many places!
