I came with my best friend and the nail service ruined my day :( I rarely get my nails done, and the manicurist cut my cuticle too deep and made me bleed. I wasn't sure what to do because I've never bled from a nail service before. However she just kept going and proceeded to put my finger back in the lemon water, and spray stuff on it, and it was burning the whole time. She even put the communal clear coat on it and now I'm worried about infection. I had to try to ask her multiple times to not work on that nail anymore and apply anything, and to just skip over it. She didn't understand and asked someone else and she didn't understand either unfortunately and just said oh we'll paint over it. I tried to reiterate again I didn't want paint on the bloody nail and skin as it would irritate it more. Disappointed :( hope my finger does not get infected. Will not be back. read more

Omg, now I know why this place has such good reviews. It's seriously the most relaxing environment I've ever been to have a pedicure done! I did the pumpkin spice spa which is a bit more but I enjoyed it to try as my first time. The only additional thing is the leg mask. Otherwise it includes, nail trim, file,cuticles, a beautiful copper tub with some fresh aroma salts, hot rock massage and hot towel, painting. Pedicures, which includes your choice of rose, calendula, chamomile or lavender herbs start at $50 for the hour and it includes hot stone, scrub, hot towels and a sugar scrub, which is my favorite part. I wish she scrubbed a little longer because it's so yummy. I love the exfoliation. I can go there for just 30 minutes of that. I love it when I walk in the door, it's so peaceful, dark & natural and not too flashy, it smells like essential oils and it's so refreshing in there. The quiet is my music and the lack of audible chatter, my therapy. Next time I'll book the 1.5 hour with her. This was my favorite nail salon. I loved the vibe. I loved the eco-friendly approach. I liked that they offer buffing (which is not a standard thing here, but common for men in the Philippines). I don't get to go often because of my budget. Unfortunately, my last visit was absolutely terrible. Bella did my luxurious buff manicure. The owner recommended her as the best person to work on cuticles. When I got there, I realized that the owner misunderstood me and they were setting up for a pedicure. I told them that I came for a manicure. It seemed odd to me because I said to the owner when I called that my cuticles were really bad and I had a lot of hangnails. She assured me that the kind of service I was getting would be very moisturizing and very thorough cuticle care. Once they got organized to do a manicure rather than a pedicure, I sat back and relaxed (listening to an audio book) while Bella did the service. It did feel quite pampering. Once Bella was finished, I took a look at my nails and was shocked to see that none of my cuticles had been pushed back, my hang nails were still present, and underneath my nails were not cleaned either. I was in shock. I went to the counter and told the owner that I was not satisfied with my service. She looked at my fingers closely, asking: "Oh is it only the thumb?" and "Did you tell Bella your concerns while she was doing the service?" My response was that I was there to relax, not keep a close eye on whether or not Bella knew what she was doing! The owner then said: "She can go back and redo it. It will be quick." But by that time, I just needed to leave. It dampened what was supposed to be a relaxing treat for myself. The owner offered me a 20% discount. I paid and still tipped Bella $5 because she did give me a nice hand washing, massage, hot stone treatment, etc. I have referred this salon to numerous folks but it's probably the last time I drive all the way to Elk Grove (from West Sacramento) to get a service. One other time I had a service that was lower quality than I expected, I just brushed it off and didn't voice my concern. This time the owner's questioning me and the really poor quality of the cuticle work (not to mention the very light buff job) left me feeling like I don't need to spend my money there any more. read more

Nice if you want a quiet pedi with a great massage. The manicures ... my top coat and polish was applied poorly, it bubbled up and no one made sure the polish was set before having me pay. Gel or not, someone should have double checked. The nail tech knew it wasn't good and I could see it in her face so I am disappointed. I cancelled my next pedi and provided the feedback with a picture and all they did was cancel my appointment. No apology, no acknowledgement. I'm sure they think I had something to do with this but my thumb looked like that on day 1 just an hour or so later. I've been coming to eco for a couple of years now and never mind paying the ridiculous pedicure prices because normally it's worth it. After this recent change of ownership I'm consistently disappointed after my appointments and recently have been going elsewhere for pedicures. Tonight, during the gel removal process my tech kept filing my skin so I spoke up and asked her to be more gentle to which she did and that was fine. Then while fixing up my cuticles I noticed she cut a little too much so when she cleaned up with the alcohol it's burned on both sides of my toes. Along with that there was a gnat? mosquito? that would not stop flying onto my leg that I kept having to shoo away and then noticed there was a fly and another gnat flying around the shop. She also started to do a full gel application when I asked for french tip so I had to remind her. At no point during this $85 not including tip service could I relax and I heavily considered walking out multiple times but didn't want to be rude or make other customers service not relaxing. My french tips are uneven and different sizes... probably my last time coming which is a bummer because I used to consider this place my self care splurge. oh well. read more

I went to this nail shop because I loved the idea of a quiet, relaxing experience. The nail shop is quiet very relaxing it would have been the perfect nail shop. But the nail tech made my nails super thin and they have been painful since the very 1st day. It has been almost a month since I had my nails done and a few of them hurt when I wash my hands with warm water and they very sensitive even when I touch them. The customer service at the front desk was AWFUL. I had a gift card that he wouldn't accept cause it's from previous ownership. Booked with my husband a long-deserved spa day. I got the gel mani and gel pedi, and hubby got the lux. Had Tammy on my mani and Thi on my pedi. Wonderful service. I am Diabetic and very ticklish on both my hands and feet. They were extremely careful and had great recommendations. I have to say Thi was phenomenal with my foot care. I've been traumatized for a while due to my diabetes and previous salons. I'm so glad I mustered up the courage. She was phenomenal, detailed, and no pain! Tammy adjusted my nails to flow with my nail shape and offered insight on how the shape of your nail can also change the hand's appearance. They no longer look swollen, as usual. Kind, patient, GREAT chair-side manner, magical hands for the leg massage, pleasant conversationalist... I can't think of enough happy adjectives to describe her! I made my return appointment before I left that day. I just finished another visit with Lily. Still amazing. In addition to the excellent work, the vibe at Blossom is nice. It's comfortable, clean, smells nice and the music is relaxing. Some nail salons give a hectic, rushed vibe and you feel like you need to get out of the chair for the next customer. Not at Blossom. It was easy to book an appointment online. They are busy, but there were plenty of appointments available. I chose any random staff and for my pedicure, I got serviced by Nancy. What I appreciate about the way they do things here is that they do take their time and they have a quiet zone. It's about an hour service. I can tell Nancy was very experienced. I'm normally nervous about getting cut while they clean up my cuticles, but she cleaned up my cuticles with care. I love that hot rocks are included in the massage. I feel like that's the best part! I felt like the only part that could be longer is scrubbing the bottom of the feet and also making sure it's the same time spent on each leg/foot when it came to massaging. I really wanted to love this place! However, there were many issues. I went in for a gel manicure and my appointment was at 12pm. I asked for lavender polish with chrome on top. Unfortunately, my manicure did not start until 12:30. I completely understand delays and honestly was not upset about the 12:30 start time. The frustrating part of my experience was the quality of the manicure. I spoke up and asked for a better shape during the filing, pieces of my cuticle trimmed down, and my polish cleaned up... and the manicure was still sub par. The total cost was 57.50 after tip. My favorite place to get my nails done!! I haven't experienced a place like this one. The inside of the salon has calm, peaceful music playing with a sign for the "quiet zone" where phones are to be silenced and soft voices are to be used. I LOVE this. As a busy mom, getting my nails done is my relaxing time and I love that the environment they set allows you to relax. I've been coming here for almost 2 years and I've had great quality of my service each time. The technicians are diligent and friendly. My cousin introduced me to this place when she treated me out for a pedicure last year. I saw Justine for the first time and she made my first experience such a good one! The atmosphere is such a relaxing spa experience. I went in recently for a gel pedicure, this time with Hannah. And I left super satisfied with my experience. She did a great job trimming my toe nails and she was super careful. My feet and legs are as soft as a baby's butt. And my toes are super cute. ((I'd post a pic but you'll have to pay me for it. I booked 2 Gel pedicures for me and my daughter. We both really enjoyed the experience. They have a menu of Gel services so be cognizant of what you book as it can get a pricey but well worth it. Me and my daughter were pleasantly surprised by our experience. It's definitely worth a try if you are looking for a new place especially if you want to be treated like your pedicure matters. I come here all the time for pedis and decided to try out a gel mani... tech was very sweet but I hate my nails. They look grown out and it's the same day as the mani. Came in at 12:57 for a 1 appt, didn't start until 1:15. Barely put my foot in the water before she started. Others got their tubs a while before and got to soak for a bit before starting. No cleaning underneath nails, only a couple of mins spent using tools with minimal effort. Disappointing as this is the reason I come to get my nails professionally done, if I wanted a basic clip I could have done that myself. When she buffed my nails she scrubbed the whole toe, not focusing on the nail only. Massage was not good, she did not use any strength, it was very light rubbing. 10 mins total not all at once either. 4 mins during scrub and 6 mins later with stone. Was really looking forward to a 15 min massage as advertised. Scrub was way too intense, I enjoy a good scrub on the bottoms of my feet but she used the red scrubber all over the top of my feet, over the sugar scrub not only on the bottom. Used the scrub without adding water either so it was too abrasive. My feet were very raw afterwards. Massage was not relaxing because the scrub was so dry and abrasive against my skin. She came back and did 6 mins with the stones but again barely rubbing the stones on me. One of the worst foot massages I've ever gotten during a pedicure. I did like that they opened tools in a packet to show they were sanitized. That's one of the reasons I wanted to try this place out for the cleanliness. Uneven coats for my painting. See photo. 45 mins total start to finish. Receptionist was great, shop was very clean, no chemical smell. Great ambiance. Just overall pedicure was not great. I paid $52 with tip, nearly double the usual place I go. Unfortunately it was not worth it. I'm used to the technician removing the tissue between my toes and helping me put my flip flops on once my toes are dry, I was left to sit in the chair for a bit and thought she would come back but she never did. Normally this wouldnt be a big deal but I'm also 8 months pregnant and doing this myself was a bit difficult. I went online to make an appointment but for some reason, it won't let you pick 2 services at the same time. I had to order 1 person to do my pedi from 1-2 and someone else to do my mani from 2-3:30. And when I got there the person asked me why I didn't schedule everything together... I got the French tip gel for my mani (the tips were very uneven and it's not professionally done, my work friends thought I did it myself just to give you an idea) and gel nail polish for my pedi. The Lady cut the skin so deep, I started to bleed a little. This place is amazing! Not your typical nail salon. I would consider this place a real nail spa. At the entrance there's a receptionist desk to check in. The nail techs aren't the ones answering the phones. Upon checking in, choose which remedy flowers in your soaking water, paired with sliced lemons. They have a rewards program as a kick back to their regular customers. After my first visit and going forward, this will be the only place for me. There are no stinky fumes and no foul smells. All polishes and ingredients are advertised as nontoxic. The interior is nice, clean, spacious and all you hear is spa and zen music in the background. There's a sign that reminds everyone to silence cellphones. The workers are quiet and the customers are relaxing. I love it! The pricing here is a little bit more than the neighborhood nail salons, but you definitely pay for what you get. You get their full undivided attention and they work on and massage your hands and feet nonstop, giving customers a sensational experience. Daisy did my nails for my nieces wedding and did a wonderful job. I had gotten a spray tan the night before getting my nails done so I wasn't able to enjoy the massage and hot stones on my arms but Daisy massaged my hands and used a hot towel to give me the best experience possible.
