There are enough machines that even when it's busy I am still able to complete my workout without issue. I've been doing training with my personal trainer, Evelin, for the entire time I've been a member. She's very kind and encouraging and has taught me so much about working out. While I've struggled with my weight (eating) she has been supportive and always gives me help with nutrition. She's a big reason why I am so loyal to Curl Fitness Westminster. Other staff I want to shout out include the manager Eric, who has helped me with account/payment matters multiple times and is always very helpful and friendly. Gama is approachable and always has a welcoming smile on his face. Johnny is very knowledgeable about weight loss and nutrition. Finally, Steven does an excellent job at maintaining a clean facility. Honestly all their staff is great! As far as the clientele who come, I never have any issues with people being rude or not sharing equipment or making a mess. Everyone who works out here seems to be chill and they respect others (not true for many gyms!). Thank you, Curl Fitness Westminster, for providing a nice, clean facility and positive environment where I can get my workouts in!

UPDATE: After…read moreeverything described in my original review, I finally made my last payment and thought this matter was behind me. A full month later, my credit card was charged again. When I called to find out why, I was told that I was required to come in person to cancel. This was never clearly communicated to me during any of my previous conversations with staff. I then requested a manager call me back. No one did. To be fair, the employee I spoke with most recently was very polite and professional, and none of this appears to be her fault. However, the lack of communication and accountability from management has been extremely frustrating. The following day, I received a call informing me that they would be issuing a refund and asking if I would remove my Yelp review. That is not happening. Everything I have written in my review is truthful and based on my experience. If the company is concerned about negative reviews, they should focus on improving how customers are treated rather than asking customers to remove honest feedback. Being charged after I believed my account was settled, struggling to get management to respond, and then being asked to take down my review has only reinforced my concerns. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.

Six months seems like a good time to really attest to the quality of swim lessons my sister has with Isabella, her swim instructor. We went in hoping with all our might that my sister would be paired with a good instructor who has experience with individuals with special needs. At the beginning, I tried to find reviews on specific instructors and times that worked best, and ultimately, with sheer dumb luck, we chose Isabella. That decision has been a very fortunate luck of the draw for my sister to have Isabella for her instructor. We had very low expectations for my sister's goal in learning to swim. However, with Isabella's guidance, care, compassion, and immense patience, my sister's progress has exceeded our expectations. Isabella is a wonderful instructor who embodies warmth, positivity, and is firm even when she brings on new challenges for growth, which is perfect for my sister. With her compassion and kindness, Isabella has managed to make major progress with my sister to allow swimming goggles to be placed over her eyes. For nearly all her life, my sister has hated being submerged under water, goggles over her eyes, or anything over her face, but Isabella has been able to change that and help my sister grow in less than a year. Isabella is efficient and effective as a swim instructor. Isabella offers a safe and welcoming space for her students, including and especially those with special needs. Waterworks Aquatics is lucky to have such a great instructor as Isabella K., whose technical skills are just as wonderful as her care and empathetic nature to her students and the family she works with. She deserves to be recognized for her work, kindness, and patience. I do want to mention, this location is a heated pool facility, with a separate play look, is kept clean overall, and the bathrooms are decent in cleanliness. Parking also usually isn't an issue. My only complaint, and this is regarding the application/portal, is that often from my use, it has glitched where I can't always find the specific instructor. I've had to screen cap and send this over so the company can work with IT but it has happened a few times now. This is more of a technical critique and not related at all to the instructor nor facility.

My original message already made that clear. Because I did not reply again to restate the same confirmation, billing continued. I had already paid a $60 early cancellation fee, and later was charged an additional $99 to an account I did not authorize for continued billing. These charges occurred after my cancellation request. I would advise others to keep written records and closely monitor billing if they attempt to cancel.

There are lockers and showers here which I find very convenient. The class is definitely challenging but rewarding . I cant wait to come back and try their other classes.
