Training at Paradigm has always been a positive experience for me. The community is welcoming and the atmosphere is both motivating and respectful. What really stands out is the variety of instructors who bring different styles and strengths which helps keep training dynamic. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained which is always appreciated!

Wow! Just had my first ever BJJ roll here per recommendation of my best friend! It was such a great experience! The climate was welcoming and intimate with ur being intimidating at all. For someone who has no coordination or experience I was able to learn while being supported! My first class was with professor Dory. He was supportive and helpful and I really felt like a did a good job even though everyone could wreck me. Can't wait to come back again!

Tucked in a small shopping strip is Paradigm BJJ "freespace" open mat. It's a real gem. The classes/seminars we have attended were well worth the trip. The coaches and staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable in the gentle art. Ask for Nikki when you arrive! For a complete schedule check their IG @paradigm.community. My daughter will be returning for Coach Harley's classes. He's a great instructor! Classes are also small in size which is a plus. They also have some nice tees and sweaters for sale. Photo and video are also allowed and actually encouraged. See you there!

This place is absolutely amazing! From the time you walked in, everyone is so nice and welcoming! No matter if you are just starting out or have been training for a while, this place is a great place to train at. I take Professor Dory class every Thursdays at 7:30pm. It is such a great class! He is great at breaking down techniques. Very supportive! So grateful to be a part of this community at paradigm, I have met so many new people who has been a big help in my Jiu Jitsu journey.

My daughter has been training BJJ for 8 years. She is a high level student who is always looking to add to her arsenal from anywhere and everyone. At paradigm she found Professor Nicks Bohli who puts on some very detailed, high level classes. His detail to technique is second to none. He is great with adults and great with kids. Will definitely be back!

I've taken a couple classes here with Nick Bohli and was amazed by his instruction and attention to detail.

The gym was closed for maintenance, yet staff were inside and clearly saw me standing at the door. I knocked multiple times and made it very clear that I just needed a few seconds of assistance. The staff looked directly at me and still chose to ignore me. Being visibly acknowledged and then deliberately dismissed felt insulting, disrespectful, and incredibly frustrating. What made this worse is that the gym appeared open as usual on maps, which caused me--and likely others--to waste time coming in without knowing it was closed. The issue isn't the maintenance closure itself, but the lack of basic human decency and professionalism shown by the staff. I did recover my key the following day (Monday, January 26th) from a different staff member, but that does not excuse the way I was treated. No member should ever be made to feel ignored, humiliated, or invisible. Management seriously needs to address this behavior.

While I've struggled with my weight (eating) she has been supportive and always gives me help with nutrition. She's a big reason why I am so loyal to Curl Fitness Westminster. Other staff I want to shout out include the manager Eric, who has helped me with account/payment matters multiple times and is always very helpful and friendly. Gama is approachable and always has a welcoming smile on his face. Johnny is very knowledgeable about weight loss and nutrition. Finally, Steven does an excellent job at maintaining a clean facility. Honestly all their staff is great! As far as the clientele who come, I never have any issues with people being rude or not sharing equipment or making a mess. Everyone who works out here seems to be chill and they respect others (not true for many gyms!). Thank you, Curl Fitness Westminster, for providing a nice, clean facility and positive environment where I can get my workouts in!

Plus, they have four hydro massage chairs, which is four times more than what my local gym (Fountain Valley) has. It's a spacious gym with lots of machines and great equipment. I've been to his morning HIIT classes a few times and have been very happy with his workouts. His classes are always fresh, challenging, and a blast. Francis also makes an effort to get to know each member and remembers everyone's names, even though they're coming from different gyms. He's super friendly, encouraging, and helps us exercise correctly. This gym consistently offers a great number of morning classes for its members, which is something my local gym doesn't do. I'd definitely come to this gym if it weren't so far away.

I've been going a couple times a week for about two years and have taken Pilates at multiple studios. I genuinely love it, but if you want to be humbled, take Vanessa's class. Every class with her blows me away as she somehow designs workouts that look innocent and then absolutely destroy you. The moves look easy, she does them with witchcraft-level ease, and five minutes later I'm sweating and questioning my life choices. No two classes are ever the same, which I deeply appreciate because repeating the same Pilates routine is a fast track to boredom. Vanessa's energy is unmatched. She's not there to be a Pilates influencer (praise the Lord); no matching Lululemon sets, no makeup, very principal Trunchbull vibes (but in a good way). She commands the room and has zero hesitation calling people out for chatting during class, which honestly just adds to the experience. It's a great workout every single time, and I truly feel like I get my money's worth. Vanessa cares about Pilates, cares about teaching it properly, and it shows. This part of the review is for LA Fitness: FIX THE GD AC in the Pilates classroom at Garden Grove, it's getting borderline unacceptable. -5/5 stars. (Unless you want to make it a hot Pilates classroom like hot yoga, I'm sure we need an additional waiver for that). I'm not quite sure why some of the LA Fitness gyms are different (cleaner/updated) at each location in the oc & sd like mission valley & Irvine over Mira Mesa and garden grove. Some gyms need to be updated, have broken weights or workout machines and dirty bathrooms/pools. The signatures or a select few are really nice. It's a little annoying. I wish there was a higher standard for every LA fitness like there was 10 years ago. Working ac should be a standard at everyone.

My only complaints about Club Studio are…read morewhen they build gyms without a pool or jacuzzi (such as this one in Long Beach) and they don't have any designations for beginner or advanced levels in their classes. It would be really helpful if you weren't confronted as a yoga newbie with instructors trying to get you to do hand stands or the very challenging moves and weight lifts in the Pilates x Strength class. I think they need to give info to the members about difficulty ahead of time or section off some classes as beginner, etc. I belong to another Club Studio in a different city as well, so I'd have to say the staff at the front desk at this club can be a little unfriendly and inattentive compared to the other club. But I love most of the yoga teachers at this Club Studio, and I really think they made great choices in hiring Sandi, Kelly, Karen, and Jason. They all have great personalities and try to make the classes accessible for people with injuries or special problems . But if you're a senior with a lot of physical problems, this club is probably not for you. The emphasis is definitely on the youthful customer here, and I hope I can keep up with the classes for as long as I'm physically able before I have to go somewhere else less challenging.
