Who knows, but I was saddened by the lack of sportsmanship modeled by coaching staff, and I was unimpressed by the "draft" they now use to create teams. No. I don't think they draft, but whatever system they use to build teams is rather political and does not seem to have the best interest of players in mind. They used to balance out teams with ages and ability if possible. That does not seem to be the way now and it is sad because the players trying to learn the sport are the ones who suffer.

A few months ago, we purchased a family membership to the IRC. The goal was to be able to play more tennis. It took a while to figure out all the unspoken processes and how to get in the system. So far, we are doing things on our own and haven't have classes yet. But the tennis is good. And, now I think I know more and should be able to get a class soon. The pro shop is great! I enjoy being there, they are very knowledgeable, helpful and polite.

After roughly 18 consecutive years of being loyal patrons, at the request of our 12 year old…read moredaughter, our family left DeVeau's School of Gymnastics. Our child was made to feel uncomfortable and unsafe by owner/operator, Luke Lautzenheiser. It's been a few months and she still cries daily. DeVeau's coins itself as "...your kid's HAPPY PLACE" but how is that the case when a child is bullied and retaliated against (by the new owner) at the only gym she's known since age 3? This review is not to bash the gym but to share our heartbreaking experience. For my 12 year old child- it's about kids hearing the devastating voice of their peer and her inability to comprehend being bullied and retaliated against by an 'adult' at a place she once called her second home. For us as parents- it's about an unbelievable experience at a place we've loved, raved about and supported for many years and the continual mental trauma our 12 year old daughter suffers from months after making one of the hardest decisions of her little life. DeVeau's isn't the same place it used to be. Now the new owner walks out on the practice floor to intimidate children during practice. It's a place where children who are learning/practicing skills that if not fully focused could potentially cause harm being put in the position to focus on- Is Mr. Luke going to approach me today and if so, when and where? That was our child's focus at practice even with parental support in attendance. After giving notice, Luke still found a way to come after her by having his program manager attempt to keep her from competing at (what my kid calls "Big Kid's Nationals") USA Gymnastics Championships (although she qualified at her first competition) by failing to register her and not telling us until after the deadline. Yes, this happened at DeVeau's. Thankfully, a new gym (out of state) allowed her to join their team and they were able to get that corrected so she could practice and compete at Nationals. Sadly, this is the kind of retaliatory behavior that happens when a child doesn't agree to stay at DeVeau's once the gym owner apologizes after admittedly making her feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately, there are no other trampoline and tumbling programs in the Indianapolis area so our daughter had to give up her dream of continuing the sport for her current safety. There are so many wonderful coaches at DeVeau's and they are the best part of the gym. Even with the traumatic experience our daughter endured, she does have many wonderful memories of her time with coaches she loves. Those experiences are the things we will cherish. Hopefully those memories will help her in her healing process.

I canceled my memberships to the gym and the classes!! it's really sad this was the place to go in bargersville. but now people will be dropping out because you dont know how to run a gym !! and your customer service sucks!! I have brought many people into the gym. I hope they all quit as well!!! learn how to run a business with someone who has a better Attitude!!! Friday night polo matches are fundraising events. It's a different charity each week, they get the gate ($20 per car) and this one also had a live auction after the match was over. There is some parking along the field and then more within a short walking distance. There is a grandstand on the west side of the field but when we got there at 5:10 it was already restricted. So we parked on the East side of the field, it was slightly harder to hear but we participated in the National Anthem anyway, keeping pace and tune with those around us because we couldn't hear the speakers on the Grandstand well. The restroom situation is port-a-johns on the East side of the field, I don't know if they have "real" bathrooms on the West side (buildings are all on that side) it's a huge field and it was too much to walk it. If you're going with a group at least one car should commit to getting there at 5:00. Bring all your tailgating gear (tent, tables, coolers) and enjoy the match!

Since then, it has grown to be an awesome and unique venue for both spectators and the Charities that they support. HHPC is an awesome place for you to tailgate and bring your family and friends. I saw massive behavior improvement in him and I attribute that to the way Kendall runs the classes. The kids have a ton of fun but have to listen when it's listening time and Kendall treats them with a kind but no-nonsense attitude. I've seen him interact with kids of all abilities and truly everyone is welcome at MyGym. The facility itself is very clean with plenty of parking. I've never felt grimy after leaving like I have at some other kid centered places. The bathroom is always clean and hand sanitizer is encouraged to keep the kids healthy. Birthday parties are a STEAL. You get the whole facility for the kids to use unlike some of the trampoline parks. And Kendall leads them in games and has special moments for the birthday kid. I just sit back and watch my kid have a blast! He even hands out the cake/cupcakes/pizza (whatever you decide to bring). Probably the hidden gem in Fishers are the summer camps. It's a few hours of drop off camp and a snack is provided. You can pick and choose which days you want to attend and can save more by registering early. I like that we can occasionally have something for him to do but not have to commit to a full week if we don't want to. You'll be hard pressed to find a negative thing to say about Kendall and MyGym.
