I'm the first person in my family to own a firearm. Needless to say, my family was extremely worried, and the normal line of questioning ensued. Why do u need a gun? You're going to have an accident, you don't know what you're doing. etc etc. And at first I was even a little skeptical about my purchase and began doubting. But after taking some courses at Shoot Indoors, and learning from so much from Levi and John, I feel comfortable enough in protecting myself and those around me from accidents and enough about general firearm safety that I am aware of how to make sure my firearm is as least dangerous as possible to those it is meant to protect. Now the only questions my family and I are asking after seeing me practicing my marksmanship, maintaining my firearm, and the peace of mind that having protection gives me, is why I didn't purchase a firearm sooner. It has become a hobby that is soothing and de-stressing, a skill I feel is fun and rewarding to practice, and living downtown, I no longer feel uncomfortable at night in knowing that if necessary I have the means of keeping myself safe. The last thing that anyone wants to do is to have to shoot someone. Shoot Indoors understands that and teaches you techniques to get an assailant to stop hopefully before even needing to discharge your firearm. Overall I have to say that Shoot Indoors is the best place to learn, from ex-cops, knowledgeable enthusiasts, and even experts on on how to keep you from legal recourse should you ever need to protect yourself, the network of people involved with Shoot Indoors has every bit of knowledge you could possibly need in owning and using a firearm and I would recommend them to anyone from beginners just starting out and even advanced firearms owners who are looking to improve skills and gain knowledge in the field. My mother in law got me a month of range time here for Christmas this year. I am used to all outdoor ranges (I prefer them to indoor) and any indoor ones I have found have not had the best customer service in fact anytime I have asked questions I am made to feel like an inconvenience BUT...... that was not the case at Shoot Indoors. I called them first to ask some questions and get a little feel for the attitude and to my wonderful surprise Micah (sorry it I spelled that wrong) was amazing a very patient with me and answered all of my questions. I went in that same day and needed a little assistance navigating my way through their process and with poor hearing mixed with gun shots the gentleman that was at the desk must have heard " I'm sorry what did you say?" and " I'm sorry can you say that one more time please" about 100 times and he did not act in the least bit annoyed he was super helpful and provided an awesome customer service. Now I go into the range and I am in there shooting and let me tell you..... I was not doing well at all in fact I do believe my 17 year old son would have said "Mom you are suckin", anyway the gentleman that was in there I believe his name was Austin he helped me so so so much with literally all of my bad shooting habits he taught me a lot in 1 day and the entire time with no eye rolls or snide remarks what so ever and that was in about 3 hours I can't even get my children to sit with me for 15 minutes at the dinner table without having a minimum of 400 eye rolls and sighs. I absolutely loved my experience here and I will become a member and I will recommend to all of my gun toting hillbilly trailer park family and friends. I had a great time at this Range today, staff was awesome, and the facility was awesome. Another random thing I noticed was the bathroom was very clean which was cool. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because I was slightly surprised they allow people to have guns as loud as the guy in the lane next to me, I mean, I know a gun is loud and many in an indoor range is even louder, but holy cow the guy in the lane next to me seriously had a damn elephant rifle it seemed like, everyone in the range was talking how it was just to much, I ALWAYS wear 2 forms of ear protection and even tonight I have slight ringing, I, and several others felt the man should have been talked to by management I mean sorry to be sensitive but man, go to an outdoor range, on a Monday morning when you are the only one there, ruin your own hearing. And I am not over exaggerating, you guys had a few unhappy customers because of that guy, multiple people even approached me complaining and saying it was hurting their ears, you even had a lady just leave talking how she would not be back. Just a heads up. Overall, tons of fun. You should go!! read more

I've been to a lot of shooting ranges and it never been terribly impressed with the services there. Shooting Indoors is one notable exception. They have friendly and incredibly knowledgeable staff who are more than willing to take the time to provide you with free instruction. They offer a number of classes from CCW to reloading classes and, at this point, even though they are more than half an hour away from me I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. Levi, the owner, and his beautiful girlfriend Audrey as well as Austin are some of the nicest people I've ever met at a shooting range. The wait times are reasonable and may have nine lanes and most of the people there are experienced shooters who know to aim the gun down range. If there should be an inexperienced shooter you can be sure that the range master is keeping a very close eye on them and will intervene as necessary. In this regard, it is probably the safest range I have ever been to. I can't say enough about shoot indoors. read more

Today I took a group of criminal justice students to Shoot Indoors to shoot and handle a gun for the 1st time. I was in touch with Levi who communicated with me from the start and set us up to do this. Austin and staff were very professional and were very inviting to the students. Austin was very helpful in doing a safety briefing prior to going out and shooting. He also help the students out on the range when needed. I have been to Shoot Indoors several times and took my hunting class there. The staff is always welcoming, professional and very helpful. The environment is of the shooting range is relax. I can't recommend this place enough. My niece and I took the conceal-carry class with Brett Yamaga. I have never shot a gun before and I did not know anything. Mr Yamaga was an excellent teacher and we received a lot of extra information during the class because he is so experienced (including law enforcement, military). During our range time, he and the other instructors were not only helpful, they were nice - and encouraging. (I was so nervous to shoot that I was shaking) At no time did I ever feel ridiculed or looked down upon. By anyone. I felt that my money was well spent and I hope to go back! Visit Shoot Indoors. The range is well lit, clean and priced fairly. They offer a variety of classes from beginner to expert. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very down to earth. I appreciate the warm atmosphere and lack of ego that is accepted at other establishments. If you require a gunsmith request Evan, he tackles any issue with a smile and an extremely fair price. I brought my son (who had never shot a firearm before) and my daughter and son-in-law who were visiting from out of state. this place is the best indoor range I been to in the Denver area hands down! The people are grate always willing to help out and answer any questions and show you a way to shoot better. I have never had a long wait for a lane and most the time im right in and shooting. Also the membership can be paid for month to month so $70 covers 2 months. They do not have a pro shop but offer a lot of class options to reload CCW and fire arm safety so enough of me go give it a try. read more

I love this range. The staff is always helpful and encouraging and willing to show you a tip or two. The prices are fair and I definitely enjoy the bonus of Ladies Day Thursday. It's fantastic to see so many women shooting. I am especially impressed with Levi who switched out the stock sights for night sights on my S&W Shied in just a few minutes. I have been twice in the last month and the facility and staff are great. Last time i was in Phil gave a few pointers while he and the other guys were keeping it safe and clean.
