Prior to Saturday, June 17th, '23, I had been to Trigger Time once with a long-standing member of the club. Even though I have shot a great number of guns there - as well as out in the wilderness - I knew that I needed formal instruction. The father & son teaching the class together were superb (Perry & Troy Morris). Both certified by the NRA, I knew that these two men were the real deal. [They also struck me as really good humans.]    The lecture portion of the course was nicely jazzed up with humor and interaction, and the Powerpoint presentation itself wasn't a snoozer like so many Power Points wind up being. These astute learning leaders maintained our attention and alertness by providing frequent breaks and interesting facts throughout the day.   Regarding the hands-on portion of the class, Troy and Perry were marvelously encouraging and provided the perfect amount of assistance & intervention.  From loading and proper grip to stance & hitting the target, the father & son team made the experience downright enjoyable. Since taking the class, my intimidation and fear in handling guns has diminished greatly and my basic pistol skills seem more solidified. That being said, I am going to recommend the Pistol Basics class - and Trigger Time, the business itself, particularly to other women.

So I said that I feel I'm being dodged. And he snapped!!! what? Horrible customer service I would totally avoid this at all costs. yelling at me over the phone telling me to bring the gun back so I can get my money back which is not what I asked for at all. Someone asked about wearing masks with a concealed weapon and he said as long as it's a surgical mask you should be fine. The man that asked was a older white man with a cloth black mask. I asked if my mask was ok? I was wearing a black surgical mask from a dental office John said NO! I asked him what was the difference between the blue one he was wearing and the black one I was wearing! He said he was the teacher and didn't have time to argue the matter! I turned my mask around to the white side and he yelled at me that now I contaminated everyone in class and if I wanted to change my mask I had to do it outside! Even though I told him I was tested negative! So the white guy with the black mask was ok but the brown Hawaiian lady was not ok.
