Really Bad! We stopped going there for a few years and now know why. The food was terrible and service even worse. My husband had a beer which was fine. I had a mixed drink. Totally watered down and full of ice not to mention expensive. We thought we would give it one chance we did and never going back also will not recommend to anyone. While staying at the bf's family's condo, we decided to go out for a bite and a beer on a Friday night and had no clue what would be open around the area. We ended up at Shooters after seeing the one lonely review on Yelp. Overall, great little dive bar! We were definitely pleasantly surprised. Food- it was late night menu so we only could have certain items. Shared the buffalo tenders and a 10 inch hawaiian pizza. Both were very delicious- hit the spot. Drinks- BF had about three beers and I decided to be daring as well as "that" girl and order a speciality martini from the dive bar. Surprisingly the martini was extremely good and I throughly enjoyed it. I recommend the Snickers. They had a one man show as the live music and it was as if he didn't need a break! Pleasant background music. There was also a live trivia game you could play with little game pieces and the tv. Although I was theonly one playing I had a great time with it. You could definitely tell the locals from the visitors but seemed like a friendly atmosphere. Service- AMAZING!!!!! I want to go back just to visit our lovely waitress again. She was so incredibly nice, very attentive, and helpful. I wasn't drinking my martiniw with food and she offered to get another made for me in case I didn't like it, which was not the case. Last day of bike week, not very crowded, service extremely slow! Only ordered $.30 wings, had to wait almost 45 minutes! The place was empty so not sure why they were so slow, maybe they were waiting for each wing to thaw from the freezer? Decent wings, but not to wait for. read more

Great pizza here. Iit reminds us of the great bar pizzas from yesteryear. 5 stars for food quality, 3 for atmosphere, 4 for friendly staff. We've been avoiding this place for the past 3 summers because from the outside it looks like such a dive. Boy do we ever regret it! Got a pizza to go last weekend and loved it so we returned to try something else. I had fish and chips and F. had meatloaf. My haddock was fresh and crispy, cole slaw delicious, and chips homemade and yummy. F's meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, and broccoli exceeded expectations. This is where you go when you realize that Laconia has absolutely zero night life and you really need some booze. No fuss. No fanfare. Just three pool tables, some booths, a guy who plays Billy Joel tunes and most importantly, a bar. Service was great. Drinks inexpensive. (My 16oz cranberry, vodka and lime was a steal at $5.) if your smart you'll stay away from these jokers. the blond bartender from the get go discriminated against us. bartenders should not be racist. this is by far the worst bar i have ever been to. to be treated with such disrespect, reminded me of one Hitlers' concentration camps. the beer tasted horrible and warm, as if the lines have never been replaced or cleaned. which should be done routinely. the food was even worse than the beer i found a hair in my chicken wings, and they wouldn't refund my money. the bathroom reeked of urine. this is great place to take somebody that you don't like, they will never want to hang out with you again. if i could give less than a star i would. this is my honest opinion. read more

Went for the chicken wings. Fifty cents each on Sunday and Monday. I showed up on Tuesday. They still gave me the deal. I ordered forty. Ten each in four different sauces. They were delicious! Came to the table nice and hot and crispy. Just like I like them. Had plenty to take home for other family to try also. Everyone liked every flavor. Our waitress was very attentive and fun . The men who frequent this place are gruff, bearded, concrete-slab-laying, red faced new Hampshirites who appear cross but are friendly enough once you start a game of pool. The women are...(see above)! This is an OK place to grab a beer, although it seemed a little expensive the food was decent. If your looking for a place to hang out and just chill this probably isn't your place. Unless, your a local I'd recommend driving to Manchester for a good time. read more

Our summer house is close by, and this is a place we always stop in. No fuss, really good pizza and burgers. I wouldn't recommend the seafood as it is previously frozen. Waitstaff is friendly. The place is often vacant during the week and crowded on Friday and Saturday nights. Can be noisy. Also check out Winnisquam Trading Post down the street - they took it over and serve pizza and sandwiches out of there. Great spot for take out if you need something quick. read more
