I recently found Shooters in Amherst and was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a difficult to find handgun and discussed the topic with the people at Shooters. To my surprise, they were actually able to help me get the handgun at a reasonable price. I was surprised because other shops were selling the same firearm on an auction site for significantly more. In addition to being really helpful, the prices are really good, and the store is clean/not cluttered. I've also been to the Hookset location to purchase reloading supplies. The store is huge and the selection / prices were great. They even have a significant selection of reloading equipment. Most shops just don't have the space to stock this type of equipment and quantity of supplies. It's really nice to just be able to get supplies and not paying the crazy shipping fee addons required during an online purchase. The experiences from both stores was really pleasant and I will continue shop here. read more

I recently moved to NH from another state... I stopped into Shooters Outpost to ask a few questions about state laws and regulations. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door, I went to the counter and an employee stopped what he was doing and took the time to speak with me and answer all of my questions. I've since shopped at Shooters for all my firearms needs. I had purchased a special firearm online and had to shipped to Shooters for the transfer. when it arrived they called me before the tracking even updated and assured me it had made it and that I could come in to complete the transfer. During the transfer the NICS check was taking a bit longer than expected... the gentleman made it a point to to call back again to make sure they had all the information correct on their end (which they didnt...) doing this he made the NICS check results come back quicker and was able to get me out of there faster. Shooters Outpost in Amherst on 101A is a fantastic place! They have a great selection of firearms, I bought my Smith&Wesson 9mm and Ruger Mark 3 there. The staff is very friendly and HELPFUL. I also consigned my Walthers there and was very pleased how much they sold it for. They are our "go to" for targets and ammo and my husband has also purchased firearms there. We highly recommend the Amherst Shooters Outpost. We are happy customers! PLUS, through Shooters Outpost we have taken several classes at the Manchester Firing Range, great classes, very professional and informative. Highly recommend! read more

As Shooters Outpost newest location I was fortunate enough to make it to opening week find a very well-stocked store just like the Hooksett store. Matt the manager was super friendly and knowledgeable as we're all the other employees there, having a surplus area was a pretty cool experience found some cool items there. I've made it one of my regular stops along with the Hooksett store, 2 very same but unique locations. As with Hooksett we cannot find a place with better customer service someone's always asking you if they can help you out. Keep up the good work who knows maybe a third location someday. read more

Love how friendly all the staff is at the Amherst location, they've been patient with me throughout my journey into this new adventure of mine. I really appreciate the fact that they treat everyone exactly the same. As a woman, I have had other retailers not be so pleasant. Despite the shortages, I've been lucky enough to get what I need and the selection has been great. The store is clean with plenty of room to social-distance. Have been doing business with the Shooter Outpost Hooksett location for many years. I recently visited the Amherst store and am just as impressed with the staff and products they have as I am with Hooksett. Over the past few years I have purchased thousands of rounds of ammo and about 7 firearms and 2 gun cabinets from Shooter Outpost without ever having a negative issue. Quinn and Dana are the best. They are knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Dana took well over an hour to help my wife, newbie to shooting, pick out the correct personal firearm that she was comfortable and capable of carrying. Prices are hard to beat, staff is extremely knowledgable and friendly. If they dont have the answer to your questions they will find it, hard to find service like that these days. Location is very easy to find and only a short trip from nashua. I will continue to shop here. Hard to beat! read more

Both stores, Amherst and Hooksett have a great knowledgeable and friendly staff. If a staff member isn't sure on an answer, they find somebody who could better answer your question. Always seem to find a good deal on something in store. read more
