After the fires, I had to replace all of my outdoor furniture and luckily insurance was covering it. I had a bid from someone else and she convinced me she could do better for a lower price and she was "doing me a favor" because I was affected by the fires. She used the other person's floorpan they had drawn and convinced me to go with the brand she thought would be best and some other things. We ordered everything and I couldn't wait to be able to use the yard again. As soon as it all arrived, it was evident that it wouldn't work at all. The sizing of a lot of the pieces was wrong, it didn't even fit the floorpan she used and she tried to rearrange things accordingly and convince me that it was better that way. The umbrellas were too tall and the wrong size, etc. Not to mention it all just looked terrible. My girlfriend and I were appalled and immediately told her it wouldn't work and all needed to be returned. Which would have been a lot better to do then as the movers and truck was there at the time. She said let's wait and see how I feel after a few days. So a few days later it didn't get any better and I said we need to return everything and that's when she stared saying a lot of the pieces are custom and we can't return them. However, the vendor for most of the items we found on their website they take returns with a 20% restocking fee which I was fine with. She still said it wasn't returnable. I had to keep pushing, then she said it was really a 35% restocking fee, and their website was wrong! Finally after weeks she said they would honor it. Then there were many "custom" items she said were unreturnable and we found them in stock in many stores, nothing custom about them. She still wouldn't allow returns on them even with restocking fees. It looked like some were strait from her own inventory. Then a couple other items like daybeds that hadn't even been delivered yet, she still charged my full price for the cushions cause they were custom, so I said then she should deliver those and she never did. Also she charged me a ridiculously large return shipping fee. She tried to force me to sign a legal release to her after the returns in order to get roughly 30% of my entire budget back for literally nothing. I refused, and it still took well over another month of her stalling to get paid what little back that I did. Since then she has ghosted me completely when I've asked for any receipts that she had that could justify her outlandish charges and claims of custom furniture. She would not provide ANY documentation of delivery fees, or invoices from any of the vendors. She also refused any rebate on her design fee which was based on the amount spent even though I didn't want to keep anything and returned most. What I'm left with is just a couple "custom" pieces she wouldn't take back that look terrible so I just put them on my balcony. The worst part is she acted like she was helping me out of the goodness of her heart as a fellow fire victim. In the end she took total advantage of me, giving me the runaround and what I would call scamming me out of 70% of my budget. Since then she's now got a new website at least, she must be using that money well.

The best is to call (which I have) if you have any questions. However there are times when calling is not option but sending an email is.
