Decided to try this ShopRite as it's just a stone's throw from my home, I usually do Sprouts or Trader Joe's. I heard good things about the fresh flowers and nice staff. Well, they were half right, anyway. Shortly into my visit, I asked a worker called Brian -- his nametag read "Brain" which is unlikely, probably just spelled it wrong -- which aisle I could find flavored seltzer in. He gave me a stink eye from under the bill of his oversized little leaguer baseball cap and said "what are you hard of reading, mam? We have directories posted all over the store and I'm too busy to take your hand and walk you there!" His exact words which left me in disbelief. I guess he was having one of those days and took it out on me. So I asked to speak to his manager. He chortled, I am the manager, toots!" So, I told my daughter who witnessed the entire exchange, time to go as the idiots are obviously running the village. I left the cart and my daughter decided to fall back and return the items in it. I waited out in the car. When Sia, my daughter, came out she was in tears. She told me the same guy, Brian/Brain called out to her a creepy "Me so horny" as he stalked behind her. He actually said this to a 15 year old girl who just so happens to be black and Laotian. I don't know, maybe he was drunk or high, possibly both. Perhaps a frontal lobe injury? I didn't know men such as this still existed. Figured they had been bronzed in tar and feathered decades ago. It really is unacceptable, highly inappropriate predatory, harassing behavior. A menace like this should not be allowed to run roughshod all over a store grossly abusing his so-called power. I dissuaded my husband from going back to the store to confront him. We will never, ever shop at any ShopRite again. By the way, the mean girls at the front of the store just added insult to injury. I hope you go out of business! read more

I am having some he's although issues and decided to skip grocery shopping in the store and try ShopRite's service. Delivery was $20 so I opteD for the $4.99 pick up service.. The shopping process is pretty simole but I did have some issues. Some of my items disappeared and others got a quantity higher then I wanted. I called the store and was able to make adjustments. Pick up service was very easy! There was a sign to send a text but a very cheerful employee came to my car. It's was only a few minutes before my grocery's were loaded. I tried to tip but was told they can't accept tips. I went back today to return the additional quantity and again the service was excellent even in musers le cold rain.. This is a very Convenient service, and I definitely plan to use again. I also noticed in the store that the shoppers for the service are mostly high school kids including some differently abled persons. I love the idea that the service employees locals and promotes such high levels of customer service. One last note! I was presently surprised when a bouquet of daisy's were added to my order as a thank you! They were a nice surprise and made my day! Thank you! read more

It may seem strange to review a Shoprite, but there is another one in Fairless Hills (very close by to this one) and this is one is by far SUPERIOR! I currently do all my shopping here although the other one is probably a bit closer to home. But as some others have noted, the customer service here is phenomenal! My first experience was getting my baby shower cake (super last minute, since I was 8 months pregnant and moving), which I THOUGHT I had placed an order here but turns out it was lost. I came in to pay and the bakery lady was so excessively kind and apologetic. The manager even came to apologize personally and took my order again. The cake itself came out both beautiful and delicious! I hate fondant and didn't want anything too glamourous just a good pop of color and they really delivered for my circus themed baby shower. For all four cakes with different fillings came out to under $100 to feed about 70 people! Aside from this experience, just regular food shopping here is a pleasure. There are never crazy lines, and people that work here are so friendly. I have had representatives ask if I need coupons or a flyer, help me put my son in a baby carrier and even get help putting my groceries in my car. They have a great variety of food court items which are all really delicious and an excellent bakery. The only reason I take a star off is because their ethnic section really sucks. I know it's not very ethnic in this area, but it's literally half an aisle with just a handful of Latin and Asian items - I couldn't even find my usual mix for tikka masala. This is the nicest Shop Rite I have ever been to. I have been shopping here for a few years, and the store is always clean, the food is always fresh, and overall the customer service is very good, especially at the deli and sandwich making station. The workers are very friendly, which is difficult to find at most supermarket locations. The employees at the self check out aisle are always very friendly and helpful as well. They also make tasty hoagies, for a great price, and they're huge! Only ONE time, I made a huge hoagie order because I love their hoagies, and they made every single hoagie wrong. The manager had called me and offered me a $50 Gift Card to make up for it, but I never got the chance to pick it up since I moved out of the area. I was very disgusted with the poor quality of service at check out that for the first time ever I left my $100 worth of groceries on the checkout and walked out of the store. I spent an hour in the store shopping and gathering my week's worth of groceries. My first time shopping at this store. I am a regular at McCaffrey's where customer service is excellent. Shop Rite' check out was more than punishing. The cashier had difficulty with the previous 's customer's coupon. It was taking way too long. Three employees huddled around behind me and were clueless that the checknout lines were slow and long bc the 3 employees were deep in conversation. They carried on a conversation for quite some time. Finally, I interrupted them and asked them to help my cashier. I broke up their fun. However, now we have 2 employees staring at this coupon for 5 minutes trying to figure out why it would not scan. I could see this was not going to be a quick fix. I just could not take another second. How much could that coupon have been worth? 25 cents?? I would have gladly given 25 cents to move the line along. I could not believe what I was seeing. I was so put off that I actually left my groceries on the belt, moved my empty cart and left. I guess I punished myself for wasting my time shopping but I would probably still be standing there with melted ice cream and soiled fish waiting to pay. I know good help is difficult to find these days, however, three employees standing around not paying attention to customers is not acceptable. I will NEVER go back to this store. Customer service is important to me and I like to shop where my business is appreciated. Wegman's is going to walk circles around Shop Rite bc they have excellent customer service. read more

I've had good experiences here. Friendly staff and willing to help and/or reimburse if something is wrong. The only problem I have is with the sandwiches. I don't know who makes or taste tests these recipes. Specifically tuna salad, chicken salad, egg salad, but they must've had covid and lost the sense of taste. I just had a few bites of the tuna salad wrap I bought this morning. It has no taste to somewhat of an off putting taste. It tastes like I was eating frozen tuna or something. Very bad. Let's get it together. It's not that hard. The other thing I noticed recently is a BLT on toasted bread as an option for a sandwich. Who makes these decisions on the items to offer people. It's the morning of Valentine 's Day- My father passed away a few months ago so this was my mom's first Valentine's Day without him in 35+ years. My sister and I both live out of town but I had planned on going home that evening and bringing flowers. I ended up having to cancel last minute and was desperate to find a gift/flowers that could be shipped day of without going broke(er). After shopping around multiple flower shops and local stores online, I had settled on the fact that I was going to pay minimum $100 for the most basic flowers with the chances of them not being delivered until late night or the following day. Deep breathes... THEN, I remembered Shoprite delivers! What's better than flowers AND your favorite snacks? It's now 10:40A. Went to the online store and they were still accepting orders for that evening (hallelujah). Spent 25 minutes picking out flowers and delicious goodies, go to check out, and realize that I am now 5 min past the ordering deadline (there's a 6 hour time frame for deliveries). Deep breathes... 11:07A: Call the store and asked if they could still accept deliveries as I was desperate. The woman on the phone was SO NICE and stated that they were ahead of schedule and it wouldn't be an issue. She pushed my order through. Tears of joy! Fast-forward to 5:30P. Order is delivered and placed on our front step (per my request). I had also added a comment to include a note, which I assumed would be written down on a piece of plain paper and stapled to the bag. 6P: Receive a text from my mother with a photo of the delivery (and virtual tears of joy). Not only were the flower gorgeous, the Shoprite team went out of their way and printed the note on heart themed paper and placed it with the order. It's the little things! They seem a tad bit on the pricey side, but they typically offer extensive sale prices every week. Taking into account the sale prices, they beat all the competitors within a radius of a few miles. Produce is mostly high quality and is well-stocked and rotated. The deli counter offers a wide selection. One of my few complaints about the store would be that there seems to be a high employee turnover rate at the deli. The deli staff often seems very inexperienced, so their ability to slice and package correctly isn't consistent. I don't buy prepared foods often, but I can say the roasted chickens are a great last-minute meal. Meat and seafood is high quality, and the counter staff are very helpful. The store is always clean. They are usually adequately staffed, so I rarely have to wait long at the checkout. One minor problem with the self-checkout is that the terminals don't allow you to scan and deposit your coupons without the assistance of a staff member. I have noticed that occasionally the advertised prices, or sale prices marked on the shelves will not be reflected at the check-out. This happens at all supermarkets, but it seems to be more frequent at Shoprite. This is one area I truly wish they would improve. read more

The service at this location is outstanding. Everyone is kind, helpful and knowledgeable on products they sell. My one star rating is for 1) the empty produce shelves at the end of the weekend. My only day to shop is late Sunday. Almost rotten strawberries, no broccoli, no cauliflower, no romaine lettuce. I know Covid is the reason, but how are other stores able to keep up with demand on the weekend? 2) I purchased a small pack of bowl and basket chicken. It looked like it was re-wrapped, but I didn't think it was a big deal. When I got it home, the juice had leaked out in the bag and the chicken was clearly rotten. The smell I will never forget. C'mon take pride in your work. If it doesn't smell right, throw it out. If it sat at the register for more than an hour, throw it out. I recently shopped here on Jan. 17 at 11:36 a.m. Cashier Jonathon. I asked the cashier to check the price of a scholastic ABC book which scanned at 5.99. He took it back from me since I did not want it. Before I left the store I checked my receipt and the book was on the receipt. I went to customer service and the girl checked the cashier's station and the book was not there so she called someone else and they had to review photos to see that I did not steal this item. I will never return to this store again since my honesty was questioned. Besides this humiliation I was delayed in returning home to my husband who has Altzhiemers. Jersey hyper market comes to Bucks and shows up the local talent Acmes and Giants with huge selection and cutthroat pricing. It has everything those other guys have, and so much more in a shelf by shelf comparison. More labels. More variety. More choice. It may not have been the wisest thing to make a first visit on a Saturday afternoon when the place was full of Sunday pushcart drivers, as the number of near misses with the granny class kept me on edge and hoping my auto insurance comprehensive would cover any property damage. Too, the cost of things was not always clear on their price cards below the items, especially the discounted products. A bit more clarity would be a big help. Other than those nits, Shop Rite - Yardley is a great place to stock up. We came in needing a few things, and walked out with a large cart full of everything else we would use in the months ahead. Next time, a weekday evening will be explored to see if the overall experience will feel less risky. read more

I was extremely excited when this shoprite first opened since it was closer to my home then the Fairless Hills Shoprite or if I'm visiting family Shoprite Lawrenceville. But this Shoprite is very problematic for me. On the last 3 visits it went from an ok place to just bad. I have a 3 strike rule before I decide to speak to a manager or just never return to a location but this place got them all in a row. 1st strike was an item being marked incorrectly. I alerted the cashier that an item came up the wrong price, showed her the online flyer due to the fact that I have the Shoprite App and can pull it up on my phone. Still I had to wait for them to send someone back to check the price on the item before I could pay. I thought ok no problem It's just a small issue. 2nd time right after the first I had a few coupons from the Sunday paper and went to go get said Items, since I had around 5 items I went thru the self check out where as I started to scan the first coupon and it told me the attendant would have to scan them. She comes over has me pull everything outta the bag which I then informed her each item has a coupon and begins to check everything against the coupons. After all was well and checked out. She started to scan them and for some odd reason was having issues. She accidentally forgot one which I noticed after paying and looking at the receipt. I then informed her which she politely told me to go to guest services which I did. No problem mistakes happen I say. When I informed the young man at guest services he rudely started giving me the 3rd degree about my coupons. He then told me he has to grab all the coupons outta of the machine and look for the coupon which I found odd. It was only a dollar. I then wait as he goes to get the coupons outta of the machine. Comes back with a small bag and then the phone rings and starts to take phone calls. I take out my phone and I text a friend about what's going on since I found it so odd. As I'm waiting I'm being completely ignored. After patiently waiting for 10 mins a young lady comes in and sees I'm beginning to become frustrated with what's going on and tell her to just refund my money for the product. She looked in amazement at the young man next to her apologized and gave me the dollar for the coupon. 3rd strike and final strike today. I go to buy the ground Turkey on sale and see that a very good expensive brand of beef is on sale so I decide to get that as well. Knowing how bad this Shoprite is with prices I triple check making sure it's the 1 in hand and match the sale sign. Go to pay and bam. Regular price. No sale. The young man alerts the lady and she goes check. I've never seen someone move so slow. I've seen molasses move faster. After waiting yet again. She comes back and confirms it's on sale. By then I had had enough. My frustration was showing and the poor guy was new so it took even longer to fix the price. I don't blame him as he was new so it is what it is. I left called the manger and put a complaint in. 3 times in a row. Nope. I would give them 1 star but they do stock items well so that's nice. Word of advice: check your receipts. This place is HORRIBLE with prices!!! read more

I really enjoy shopping at this location. It is awesome to have a wine and spirits store within the store! Also, they have a baby sitting service for little ones so you can shop without them for a change..and it's free! Great place, modern grocery store with plenty of fresh cooked food available as well. The only bad part is the parking lot. Came here on the hunt for dinner after a long day. Decided to build my own sandwich at the deli. I had no idea what I wanted but Cathy was patient and wonderful! She offered suggestions for toppings (such as squash- which was amazing!). This is a wonderful store in an area known for "particular" clientele with plenty of competition nearby. Shout out to Elizabeth Gilchrist in the catering department who recently helped me with some delicious food for a 40th birthday party I threw. Not only was the food delicious and a hit with my guests, but Elizabeth was super friendly, responsive and went above and beyond (answering questions, helping me with last minute "panic" needs/additions and more.). So happy when this Shop Rite location opened! Very close and convenient for us. I must say that it's definitely an upscale Shop Rite. For example the prepared food selections have a great variety, along with their cheese area, very diverse. There are also multiple organic and gluten free aisles. They also have a nutritionist and dietician. Staff is always friendly and there is even a kids play area with baby sitting!! This is available to customers for 90 minutes. They do activities like coloring, video games etc. This is a fabulous feature!! Yesterday my 7 year old went food shopping with me, expecting it to be an in-and-out trip which it never is when you have kids in tow, the cashier (Don) must have sensed my stress because he asked my daughter to help him scan. She had the best time ever, using the hand scanner!!! It was amazing and he gave her a sticker at the end! It was a wonderful experience. Don is the best! read more
