HIRE SHORE AND WAVE HIRE SHORE AND WAVE. From the initial consultation, we were met with really good vibes from Kaiel and Stephanie. They went beyond talking about photography/videography and wanted to get to know a little about us, our relationship, and our vision for the wedding. After speaking with them and looking at some of their work, we knew they'd be a good fit for photo/video. We booked them in March 2021 for our October 2022 wedding, and we did our engagement shoot in September 2021. The engagement shoot photos were warm, dreamy, and the turnaround to receive them was so quick. These photos made for great save the dates/website gallery photos. Another great benefit of working with Kaiel and Stephanie during the engagement shoot is that they make you feel comfortable with photography and doing certain poses (on a regularly basis, my husband and I are awkward af when it comes to photos). They also gave us creativity to do the photoshoots where we wanted, and were open to fun ideas (we did some of our shoot at in ice cream place, because food!). In between the engagement shoot and the wedding, Kaiel and Stephanie were always available to answer questions, add services if needed, and have little hangouts in between to continue to get to know each other and talk about the wedding. Their professionalism, courtesy, and all around great personalities just made it that much more exciting leading up to the big day. We had our wedding on October 15, 2022. Since we had gotten to know Kaiel and Stephanie so well, the day went so smoothly, and it felt like we had them as friends holding it down for us on the photo/video end. They worked so well with all of our vendors, and throughout the event you could see them really working all aspects of the day. I also have to acknowledge that Kaiel is a GREAT hype man. He'll get you laughing/posing, and werking it, haha. We just received our photos/video, and WOW. My expectations were beyond exceeded. The shots are gorgeous, the use of space is spot on, our posed photos look natural, and the overall color tone matched our style and venue perfectly. The highlight video managed to get all the best parts of our vows and all the little candid clips that encapsulated the best parts of the day. I am beyond happy with how everything turned out, and I can't stop showing everyone who asks (and even those who don't lol). I asked Cali Viewfinders to shoot our engagement photos. What most people don't realize is posing for pictures is awkward, even if it's with your best friend and love of your life. I contacted Shore and Wave for my uncle's Celebration of Life event. Although an unusual event for most, it's not unusual in the Pilipino culture to take photos and/or video of the deceased and their family at viewings & funerals.
