She answered all my questions throughout treatment and gave me sheets with the exercises,( number of reps and sets to do for each one) that I use when exercising. During my last appointment we reviewed my exercise routine, answered more questions (I have a lot of those), and discussed expected progress. The therapist let me know if I have questions about my progress, I can always call. I appreciate that level of health care. I have been to another local PT group for knee treatment and I much prefer Sport & Spine on Cowesett Ave. The front desk staff are friendly and the therapists personable and knowledgeable. If I ever need another PT, I'll be back to Sport & Spine.

I had no pain in my knee; however, I was in lots of pain from the muscle strain. Shortly there after I had my right hip replaced. Once I was up and running, I started with this terrible pain running down the left side of my leg. I went to my surgeon; they first took a CT of the knee to be sure I did no damage, then an MRI of my hip to see if I did any damage to the replacement I had in 2006. Nothing. Both in great shape! So now, I go to my friends at THE RIGHT CHOICE PHYSICAL THERAPY. I brought in my MRI report. They had been working on me to help with the pain. Well, treatment changed! When I first got there, I was having trouble walking up stairs without pain. By the time I left, my legs were much stronger and the pain in my knee had subsided considerably. They also sent me out into the world with the knowledge of how to continue getting better and a repertoire of exercises to go along with that. I never once dreaded going there, and even came to look forward to it even though it was hard work. This was due to the staff and the positive environment that they have created over there. I…read morehad therapy years ago with great success for a knee injury, however was instructed by my ortho to visit a PT nearest me. This was a big mistake and an awakening. I went to Excel for 2 visits and I was very disappointed. The initial visit was an assessment, which is fair enough. The second visit was incredibly disappointing. I did a few leg lifts and a couple of stretches and then handed over my hard earned money with a list of more appointments. After sitting with that for a day, I cancelled all of those appointments and hired a personal trainer for about half the cost of what I was paying to be instructed to do a few leg lifts and a few stretches. Luckily my injury is a minor sports injury so this option just made sense. If i truly need PT in the future, i will be looking for serious reccommendations before parting with my $$$.

I've never had a physical therapy treatment, and I've had A LOT, that is hands on... Meaning my therapist gently manipulates and stretches my affected joints and muscles that enhances my healing. And - my therapist is in communication with me throughout the session to ensure the treatment is right for me. In addition, I have an at home routine that helps me between therapy sessions. I don't think anyone is typically running to get physical therapy because, let's be honest, it's usually a long, sometimes painful, process. We drag our feet, our injury gets worse and then we end up on a long road back to feeling good again. This experience has changed my mind. If I ever need PT after this injury is resolved, I will get back here ASAP. The staff from scheduling and reception, the PT assistants and the therapists themselves are kind and professional. I was walking home one afternoon from Supreme Court duty at the courthouse and saw a sign for massage. It has been quite a while since I had a massage and decided to give this spot a try. I made an appointment on line which is very convenient. A private parking lot is on the side of the building. My masseuse was not in house when I arrived but I was checked-in immediately and I waited in the office/wait area just inside the door. There are two rooms off the waiting/office area with work-out equipment, plus a locker room and restroom. The entire building looks and smells clean and looks to be in good condition. My masseuse arrived in time for my appointment. We went upstairs to a massage room where we had a brief consult about my expectations for the appointment. They were easy to chat with and shared their impressive credentials. I learned during my appointment that they are uncomfortable with clients who disrobe completely for a session and prefer that all clients retain their bottoms during the massage whether male or female. The techniques used during my treatment are very much in line with other massage treatments I have received. I would have preferred a bit more pressure and did not leave feeling like my knots had been addressed as I had hoped. After the treatment I was asked to purchase a package for multiple sessions, which I deferred. I was really hoping this would be my new 'go to' spot as I miss having a regular masseuse. The massage I received was good, but I don't feel personally it's a good fit for me. However, the staff are exceptionally well trained and know what they are doing. If you are looking to get in shape, lose weight or just need someone to work out your knots, I recommend you try this spot. It may be just what you are looking for.
