Friendly environment, live music, nice cigar selection, and a happy hour!!! First place I've seen around here in 4 days with a HH. Thank you Shore Thing! Bartenders were very sweet and always smiling. They even had phone chargers for guests to use. This was a necessity at this point, as I just walked 3.6 miles to get there, as Lyft and Uber is close to non existent around these parts! I tried for almost 2 hours to get a ride home through the Lyft app- and was unsuccessful. Ended up getting a ride with some strangers who let me get in their Lyft. This is just worth mentioning if you are venturing out to the Hub and wanting to have some drinks and a fun evening. Be prepared to be 'stuck.' Shore Thing was not a bad place to be stuck though. Completely disrespectful of surrounding residential community. The hours state they close at 10pm however the past few nights they have played extremely loud music and had customers/and or employees in their outside seating for up to 3 hours after closing. The big chill next door stops all noise at 10pm, but these guys continue partying with absolutely no concern for the noise an and nearby houses. Yesterday, 6/6 while the Big Chill had their entertainment of the night Shore thing decided to turn their music on as loud as they could, making it impossible to hear either one clearly. Overall they just seem completely disrespectfu of everyone in the area, do better. read more

Does this guy bring his own coffee to Starbucks, his own liquor to a bar or burgers to McDonalds? Shore Thing Cigars is not your typical cigar bar... and thankfully so. Not the best, but certainly not the worst Cigar Bar I've been to. Their selection seems limited (maybe I was just there after a busy night?) but all the cigars that I tried were really good. The staff has a good knowledge of what they have on hand, and even what beers blend best w/ the cigar you are smoking. One of the neatest things about the bar, is their air filtration system. It does not smell like a Cigar Bar on the inside! The only real negative (besides the limited selection) is the lack of traditional leather seats (that are SO comfortable) that are a staple in most Cigar Bars. Paul Copeland and county music singer Luke Bryan opened a cigar bar on 30-A; one of the few in Walton County. They opened about a week ago and are rapidly spinning up with great selections. Being a cigar and wine aficionado I like the combination. Their cigar selection is good and I learned that Padron will be there soon (my fav). Large walk in humidor. They have draft beer and wine and are carrying the 30-A brand. I was pleasantly pleased by the 30-A chardonnay. The ventilation is very good and there is comfortable seating near 5-6 wide screen TVs. There is plenty of Luke's tracks wafting through the room. Summer and Amanda were working when I visited and were exceptionally attentive. Shore Thing Cigars is one of several boutique vendors in a cluster called The Hub in WaterSound. Most of the other vendors are food and beverage which I have not sampled.They are clustered around open air seating and a nice stage with a huge wide screen TV. Musicians keep the vibe going. The overall Hub environment is family oriented. The Shore Thing Cigar is adult and a nice break for Dad or Mom to duck in for a treat. Personally I had to make an adjustment after enjoying several hours there and then transitioning to a family environment. However, knowing the cigar culture my fellow aficionados will go to any lengths to find a good smoke will find their way here. Bear in mind that there has been a recent postal change creating a new zip code in the area and you may find it difficult getting a good read on a GPS to find the place. I suggested that they revamp the web site to consider that tto put more explicit directions on it. Luke is known to pop his head in every once in awhile. Highly recommend. read more

I went twice with my wife: Worse cigar bar I've ever visited. Prices are 2x-3x than normal shops and I understand that because it's 30A. But the selection is slim (under 10 brands) and they push hard their "exclusive Shore Thing cigar" for $15. I purchased a couple good cigars and she pressured me to throw in their local "exclusive Shore". It was horrible. Barely a $3 cigar. We went back a second time and I brought some of my own cigars. They don't have bourbon or scotch, so bought a couple beers just to be nice and we sat down. No ash tray. So I had to ask for one. She brought one. Then I go to light and she comes back to stop me and asks for $10 to light an "outside" cigar on their porch. Whatever. I closed tab. Poured out my beer outside and walked out. Forget this place. Don't pay 3x prices for cigars and expensive beers to sit in a screen porch with rude staff. Cigars are supposed to be fun and relaxing. read more

Been to karaoke on Friday nights and I can promise they never disappoint!! So much fun and an absolute MUST when visiting 30A! I travel extensively and always look for good cigar bars. This place looks awesome. Great location and peaking through the windows it looked like a cool place with nice indoor and outdoor seating. I so wanted to enjoy a cigar hear but they weren't open despite Yelp, their website, and the sign on the door saying they were supposed to be open during the time and day we were there. Have been there several times each trip over the last two years while vacationing in Rosemary Beach. Great cigar spot. Great humidor and drinks for a small shop. Not a lot of seating inside but hasnt been crowded when I was there. Staff is super friendly. Better than expected humidor (and prices), better than expected drink selection (not a bar), and better than anticipated spot for such a touristy area. Just a note on drinks. They dont have a bar but do have some draft and can beers along with wine and champagne. The selection isnt large but has some variety and is quality for what it is (a cigar spot and not a bar). Feels new but has been there several years now. Can't say enough about how much i enjoyed this spot. I travel all over the US and this is one of my favorite "hole in the wall" cigar spots. read more

I went there on a Saturday night and arrived at 8:20, only to find the place closed tight as a drum. I called the number, hoping that maybe they forwarded the calls to a cell and were nearby. No answer. Hours are listed as 11-10. 10!!!!! Not 8!!! On a Saturday!!!!! So I drove back towards seaside and bought some Partagas at the Publix. Screw these guys. The new general manager has been a big asset to Shore Things. You can tell all the staff really gets along very well. I live close to the bar and visit regular to use my laptop to do work and have a cigar. It is always a great atmosphere there and the best premium cigars around. I have witnessed so many times lately where visitors from out of town have no respect for policies and Florida law. The staff has always handled those times as respectful as they could considering the situations but yet I those people love to get on yelp and totally twist things around. I highly recommend anyone that loves cigars and a fun atmosphere to visit. read more

On Sunday night of memorial weekend we went with family to have a drink, cigar, and listen to live entertainment. The live entertainment was really rough as the singer was way over the limit of intoxication. Slurring words and throwing the f bomb every other word went on for hours. This experience was very disappointing! We've been several time in the past and had positive experiences but this experience was way different! I'd prefer the experience to be more positive and consistent. read more

Great beer on tap! Had a nice farmhouse ale by blackberry farm. There are several grayton beers on tap as well. A cute girl was working the bar so that helps. I was expecting a massive wall of oxygen depriving smoke to hit me upon entry, but that was not the case. This place is nice, smells like aged tobacco and cedar planks of wood. A nice walk in humidor. Nice selection of wine. I guess the cigars are awesome too? I don't smoke so the mark of a good cigar store to me is that there wasn't any blunt wrappers or black and milds. So I guess I will have to drive to local kwiky Mart for some vanilla white owls to satisfy my habit for finely wrapped hydro. read more

My husband, daughter and I went into this store, and was amazed at the rudeness & arrogance of the young employee. Upon stepping 2 feet into the store she asked our daughter to see her ID, we hadn't even tried to buy anything. Walking into Shore Things, going into their humidor, it took 20-30 minutes before i was even helped. While I'm looking at their selection of cigars, i get confronted by a blonde girl with curly hair asking if i can even afford any cigars that they sold. Very disrespectful to ask, because obviously i wouldn't be in there if i couldn't. Then proceeds to try to sell me the cheapest one they had since she thought i "couldn't afford anything." When checking out she didn't even ask me if i wanted to smoke it there, or later. She went ahead and lit it even though i didn't ask her to. She was very rude, condescending, & very unprofessional. Definitely not a chill place to hangout. At this point i rather have gone home and smoked one of the cigars i have at home. Instead i decided to go out and support one of the local stores. Im never going back. If i could rate this less than one star i would. 1/10 do not recommend. read more

Not a very good place to come get/smoke a cigar. They have a very basic and limited collection. Plus the atmosphere is terrible. I love cigar shops because they're quaint and quiet. This was blasting pop music through the entire store. Even the humidor had music blaring in. I didn't really enjoy being there and I couldn't stand staying much longer than a minute or so. Staff wasn't too welcoming either. If you're looking to turn up and listen to Bruno Mars on full volume then you'll love this place, but not if you're wanting a good cigar shop. read more
