All I will say is My family and I stayed at a golden sands condo for a week 6/23/25 - 6/27. 80 degrees plus in the unit day and night it was the hottest days of the summer so far... We had no a/c the whole time with almost no communication, 3 box fans one of them dirty as all hell, a lot of sorry for the inconvenience statements. I paid around $2400 for the week but received $350 back for my troubles. Comment if you would be happy with that type of outcome. I would give them 0 stars if possible. The place they rented us was unsafe. We had to call for maintenance on 3 of the days were there. It was rundown and in bad need of repair. The fridge did not work. The microwave would trip the breaker for the fridge. The vertical blinds barely worked. The sliding glass door to the ocean had no lock. Also, on that sliding glass door the glass separated from the frame. I was holding the glass and the frame was a few inches from it. They came the next day and re-taped it. The wood stairs had carpet tiles glued to them. Half were missing and several slipped while walking on them. I was told it was an owner problem. The washer dryer carpet was wet from a leak. Many light bulbs were burned out and there were none in the place to replace them. The rooftop deck was in need or refinishing/staining. Also the wood storm shutters were laying on that deck falling apart. The A/C was leaking on the third floor when we arrived. The A/C repair people came our last day. Took out the filter (was the worst i have ever seen). All the vents were covered in dust. read more

Narrowly ruined our second week of vacation with people flying in from all over the country for it. I have heard complaints from many other who used to use this company. We rented Sunset Island 44, 44 Canal Walk Lane from Shoreline. Renter beware - the rental agency as well as the property are terrible! We rented it to attend a softball tournament mid-July. We had 4 adults and 5 kids. Refrigerator: Since we didn't know what our schedule would be (running to games), we packed 3 coolers of food, drinks, snacks, and frozen food. When we arrived, the refrigerator was set at 1. We turned it up to 5 and put the cold stuff in. During the night we noticed it was back at 1 and then put it back up again. Early in the morning, it was beeping and at 1 again with an error. Everything that was originally ice cold was warm. I called the after-hour number for service and the maintenance guy said they had notes about the refrigerator issues, and they sent someone out. The temp was 54 degrees in the refrigerator! Late Friday afternoon a rental refrig was delivered. From Wednesday morning until Friday afternoon (we were checking out Saturday morning) we were without a refrigerator. Our coolers couldn't accommodate everything that needed to be cold; most of our food and drinks spoiled. Cleanliness: The floors were dirty, overall cleaning was nonexistent. Bed quilts didn't look clean. Ants were everywhere - even coming out of the bottom wood molding. Got ant traps - didn't help. Air filters were filthy - weren't changed for a long time. Door locks were broken - two of the doors didn't lock (using only a chain above to keep them closed). Silverware was dirty with food remnants and pots and pans were thrown along with a ton of other stuff under a cabinet. The coffee pot had to be replaced - looks like it wasn't cleaned in years. The outside shower - was broken off. Half of the lights didn't work - one out of 4 above the table worked. The agents were useless (we called several times to get someone to even respond about the refrigerator) - they said only the owners of the agency could make decisions. While we argued and got a small (and I mean small) amount back, staying at a hotel would have been a better decision. The use of a kitchen was meaningless with all the issues. I honestly believe the majority of people would not be accustomed to this filth. read more

This company sent a cleaning company to our address, which was the wrong one, while we still had family staying there. The cleaners threw out all of our food, and attempted to pocket $1500. It was clear that people were still staying there, as there were suitcases and clothes everywhere. The police were called as well and questioned the cleaners. We were able to recover our money. We called Shoreline and spoke with Keti, who was initially helpful but then told us to go call the cleaning company's insurance company. They are horrible people , never even heard from Vaughn, supposedly the owner. Even an apology would have been nice. We plan on warning as many people as possible about our experience with them. Stay away from this company! Updated edit to the owner's response: we lost well over $300 worth of food, and our kids had to go out to eat due to overall carelessness of this company and the company they hired to clean for them. That was a couple of hundred dollars right there. Also threw out some of our towels. Keti offers zero accountability for what happened, there is no apology directly from her. Not surprised to see other comments out there about this company. they clearly don't care. We plan on posting other sites about this company. We have used Shoreline four times for condo rentals since 2020. We have been pleased with each of our visits and the responsiveness of the company. What I like most about Shoreline is that I can do everything online. Check-in has always been easy. This past Labor Day weekend we were lucky enough to have gotten a text saying we could check-in early. Be patient, check-in time is clearly advertised at 3pm. If you get in earlier, consider yourself lucky. Some other suggestions based on reviews about Shoreline: consider that many places in Ocean City were built in the 70s and 80s. Some hotels have not been updated since then. Some of the individual condos have had updates since then, but many have not. Review the pictures carefully. Look at things in the background, like the furniture condition, the type of appliances in the kitchen, if the cabinet doors are slanted, if the blinds are in good condition. We have chosen to not stay at places based on the condition of the blinds. If the place that you are considering has carpet, I would reconsider. The amount of sand and smells that stay in the carpet is ridiculous. Read the descriptions closely. Make sure that you pay attention to what the places offer. Every place that I have looked at, Shoreline will list the type of parking and if an additional fee is required, but it can be hidden in the text of the description. It is not always prominent. Most places in OC have a musty, mildewy smell. It is no different than the places that we have stayed in the Caribbean. The proximity to the water just leaves that smell, especially in older places. Do not rely on the reviews posted on the property management website. Look up the address on other rental sites and see if there are other reviews outside of the company you are renting from. Go for the linen package. It is so nice to not have to worry about bringing towels and bed linens. I have been coming to Ocean City since I was in high school. As I have gotten older, the roach motels and sleeping on the floor with 10 other people in the room has transitioned into what I want to be a home away from home and where every person with me has their own space in a bed. Hopefully these suggestions can help someone else and take some of the blame off Shoreline. We will continue to use Shoreline for our rentals. read more

Renting Sea Watch 115 or any place from Shoreline Properties would be a big mistake. I stayed there for one week in July and it was one of the biggest disappointments I have experienced yet. It was advertised as a condo that could sleep eight people. My family of six assumed we would fit just fine in a condo for eight. Unfortunately, upon arrival we discovered the condo was incredibly small for the six of us and we were going to have a really tight stay. Upon inspection of the place, it was dirty. There was food and debris left on the trash can in the kitchen from other renters. There was sand still all over the floor. There were still rings of dirt on dressers underneath lamps, that were clearly not clean for years. Under the sink in the kitchen was a dirty old, Moldy Sponge left there from however long ago. The dishes were dirty and each one had to be cleaned upon arrival. We were not too happy. This place was also advertised as an Oceanfront View. While standing in the kitchen looking out at our view, we had a wonderful view of the kiddie pool, parking lot and other condos. If we stood up against the window and turned to face the beach we could kind of see a little of the ocean over top of the walkway to the indoor pool. This was 100% not Oceanfront! This was also advertised to come with linens. When I hear linens, I think sheets, towels, hand towels, etc. All things needed for your bed and bathroom. The linen bag was fully stocked with everything we needed except for comforters/blankets. We did not bring these, as Linens were provided. Luckily, there was a mall across the street that we could go buy our own blankets for our vacation on. If only this could have been avoided. I emailed Shoreline 2 weeks before our arrival to see what was included in the linen package and what the condo offered. I never received a response! Great customer service . Lastly, upon arrival we turned on the TVs. This place was advertised to have DirecTV and TVs in each room. The DirecTV worked upon arrival, but the living room TV did not. It was broken and glitching and unwatchable. The TV in the small bedroom was not hooked up to DirecTV at all, in fact the remote didn't work for it and it didn't even have a fire stick or Chromecast so you could cast from your phone. You could watch dvds, but who has DVDs anymore? I called Shoreline right away to let them know about the TV because I did not want to be charged for that. Their maintenance person arrived promptly with a solution of a new TV. He took some time to set up the new TV and got it to work. Unfortunately, in the process he knocked off the DirecTV and was unable to get it back on. This left all other TVs not working, and just the new one now working with a fire stick. Unlike the office staff, this man was incredibly helpful, and brought another fire stick, so we could get another TV to function during our stay. We had to result in using one of our own Chromecast that we happen to bring for a third tv. The small kids bedroom still had nothing for the entire visit. Shoreline told me that Sea Watch was in charge of getting the DirecTV to work. We contacted Sea Watch multiple times with no response. Shoreline did not follow up in any way shape or form. Again, great customer service. When contacting them about these issues, I was told it was my fault for not properly letting them know of ALL issues during my stay and they will stand by their unit. They stated that linens dont come with blankets and we should have known. (I would have known if they returned me email 2 weeks before). They said that I should have told them the place was dirty to have a team come in and clean after the fact. We didn't want to do that at that point. Why have their bad cleaners in again with all of our stuff at an inconvent time to ruin the vacation more. I cleaned it myself. I will not be staying at Sea Watch again nor renting with Shoreline properties. read more

Horrible disgusting company! Thieves and liars! They care nothing about their customers and the pandemic. We booked a week and a half before the pandemic hit for an AAU tournament in MD (that was obviously cancelled). Of course at that point we didn't not know that covid would hit and lockdown each state. When I called to cancel, one of their many rude reps, Linda, told me that the reservation would be removed and relisted so that I could have the opportunity to receive my money back if someone were to book it--despite the fact that our country was under national emergency, bans on travel, gatherings, and hotel closures! While other travel companies were revising their travel policies around Covid And refunding deposits, Shoreline was keeping people's money, many of which who have gotten the virus or lost jobs! So horrible! Additionally they never offered me travel insurance and tried to lie and say that they did. I check the site 2 weeks later and the property is still listed as unavailable--so it was not returned to inventory as I was told it would be. I have called and sent several emails and no one has responded. I am now disputing it and they are being reported to any and every consumer agency I find. For all those in the same situation, I urge you to take action against these slime balls. They are scammers and have deceptive business practices just to keep your money. Rude and uncaring during a phone conversation regarding check in time and cleaning. Not in the least bit welcoming or kind. Why? Is life really that bad? I ended our conversation with... "I will not project, you have a great week" as I did not want to put bad vibes on a vacation I haven't begun. I will see what happens when I arrive to pick up my keys at 3PM on check in day as is indicated on the contract. I will update this review once I've encountered personnel (Bonnie) face to face. Stayed at Sea Lodge #101 on 86th Street horrible as well as Shorline Properties customer service. We get a call the day before we leave the central air is broken but put a window air conditioner in the front of the unit. We had no other choice it was the day before checking in, it took two weeks of searching to find a place this because of senior week. We walk inside the front half of the unit smells like roach spray that was under the kitchen sink. So the first two days were strong and no windows to open. We get there go inside and see notes all over; take trash out, wash and put away dishes and rise out sink and tub. Well, the first day the WiFi info given by Shoreline did not exist, the WiFi password in the unit did not work. The master bathroom had black hair all on ledge of toilet and hair in the tubs. I had to buy cleaner and clean the bathroom it was disturbing. The dish's/utensils were dirty in the drawers, the dishwasher was full. We bought our own paper plates and etc because it was gross. They only supply one roll of paper towel and two rolls of tp, one for each bathroom you supply your own. They want to charge you $140 for pillows and blankets when they are in the closet. We did not pay we brought our own thank goodness. There was a pair of men's underwear between to wall and mattress in the master bedroom and a dirt wash cloth hanging on the back of the bathroom door. When we went to bed we noticed the cable did not work in the second bedroom. It the become hot in the bedroom because the window air conditioned was in the front room, tried to open the window in master bedroom the knob fell off (easy to put back on) the second bedroom had a old faded sign that the window is broken can't open it. There is a picture to the right of the sink in the master bathroom with specks of toothpaste spit from who knows how many people before us. The second morning we wake up to shower and the hot water lasted five minutes for one person there were four of us. The fart fan in the hall bathroom sounds like a garbage disposal it is loud. We later notice that the no hot water issue is a known issue to turn breaker on and off, they typed a note on the envelope. The water did not drain in the master bathroom there was a foot of water sllloooowwwly draining then stopped leaving about two inches. I called the office to let them know about the cable not working and the water in the tub. I have my phone number to call me back. I call them two hours later the tub finally drained but no cable. Lady says oh the person who deals with this is out, I said wait you said you were sending someone to fix it, she says no I mean the person who does paperwork mind you this is Friday. She says I will check with Maintenance guy and call you back I said Do you have my phone number she blurts out some random phone number that doesn't belong to anyone in the unit. So I began to give her my number which I did not give her the entire thing. By the end of the conversation she said I'll call you back thank you bye. Well how would she call me back if she never had my phone number. Anyway needless to say we never got any response to any repairs that I called about such as the tub and the cable. The next day the top and bottom Hydraulic on the front door are so rusted the bottom one ended up breaking off. We used it to prop the door open because it was only 60° one evening to get some air in since none of the windows open, and it broke. The table and chairs in the porch are rusty and breaking, rusty pieces are sticking out of the chairs you may need s tetanus shot after you sit on them. So basically at this point whenever there's an issue with this unit they do not perform any repairs they brush it under the rug and leave notes. They also do not have a cleaning company come in to clean because they say they will charge you to have someone come in and clean if you don't take the trash out and rinse out the sinks and tubs. This is gross they do not clean in between renters and they don't even look inside to see what's going on with the unit plus there is no communication when there is an issue they don't care. So I hope others see this review before they decide to rent this unit or you will be scrubbing it with bleach and have nothing but issues after you pay a fortune to rent it. Dirty and poor customer service. This information will also be forwarded to the owners of the unit who knows if they even know how Shoreline Properties is running the show and they may not even know that Shoreline Properties is allowing their property to be ran down and dirty. They make enough money on rent they should fix and repair the unit. I sure hope the owners don't get a surprise when they see their unit has went to the shit. read more

I stayed at 12304 Jamaica Ave III, unit 302 F5945 located in Ocean City, Md. This is one of the properties that they rent out to travelers. The property looks fantastic on the the website but it is very small. My MAIN complaint with this property is that it had bug/worm like things crawling around in the Master room's bed. I killed one and thought I could over look it. Then literally a few minutes later there was another one in the bed. I checked out on Sunday instead of my scheduled date, which would have been on Monday. I was very displeased with this unit! It didn't have decent lighting through out the place. Nor did it have a table for people to eat at. When you are advertising that your unit accommodates 6 people there should be adequate seating for eating. None of the bedrooms had trash cans and poor lighting. I will NEVER rent this place again, I was very disappointed. I reported this to the establishment which fell on death ears, no apology, no nothing. read more

DON'T RENT THROUGH SHORELINE!! They are slumlords who do not take responsibility for anything they are supposed to as shown on their site or written up and emailed on several occasions or during a verbal contact with Lana about the negative reviews seen prior to our stay. The condo 2016 at the Capri was filthy when we showed up in 5/2021 during COVID!! The toaster oven was broke, the oven door didn't open so all the food we brought down to cook had to be frozen or thrown out. The sliding door didn't work well, which was an original complaint since 2019. Shoreline was contacted and they sent out cleaners, which kept us prisoner at the condo with all our belongings, unable to put our food away or make the beds etc for 3 hours and forced to go out to eat. VERY disappointed. The good part is The Capri building was clean, social distanced practiced, on-site security. The unit did have Wifi as stated in the write up-but no HBO. Very easy to deal with when renting a condo in OCMD. My emails with questions were returned in a timely fashion. Check in ( an early check in too!) and check out was quick and easy. Our welcome bag of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bag, dishwasher tab etc were appreciated and thoughtful so that you didn't have to run to the supermarket right away. They don't have exorbitant fees like on other web sites either. I'd definitely use them again - and will since we found an oceanfront condo that was fantastic, clean and affordable!! read more

As per Shoreline Properties is concerned - "really bad customer service." I am still scratching my head trying to figure out why the women in that office were so cold and inhospitable. When vacationers travel hundreds of miles, after spending their hard earned dollars to try and enjoy a well-deserved vacation, the last thing they want is to be greeted by sour-faced, unfriendly people. There was only one kind face in that office and that was of a young foreign exchange student. I felt bad for her. After 20 years of renting with Shoreline Properties, both on and off season, I have reached the end of my patience. Zero attention to detail is given for the rental units we have used, the most recent at a weekly rate of $2500 (not cheap). I am SO DONE complaining and fighting with these people. This year I did not even bother. Although there would have been plenty of reason to: carport AND stairwell lights not functioning, downstairs toilet doesn't flush, master bedroom mattress still in shipping wrapper, chewed bubble gum under the bed, chunks of hamburger all over dining chairs, orange goldfish crackers lying on carpet (hello!). The lower kitchen cabinets looked like a child had painted them with a chocolate popsicle. And the dining room table took 7 paper towels to get clean (the first 3 came back black). Bannisters - same deal. Kitchen counters, same. Every dish and all the silverware was filthy with visible food. Why?? OK. So we spend the first 3 hours of our beach week cleaning (and raging). Halfway through the week, the upstairs toilet flusher breaks. (Forced to call now because no working toilet.) The 'plumber' shows up with a huge drain snake which made no sense. They weren't clogged; they were broken which my husband explained on the phone. It does no good with this company. The last rental we spent half the week with no working tub drain or shower. I used a bucket to bathe. I could go on and on. We are professionals. We work hard and expect a certain level of treatment -- and a relatively relaxing vacation! Dealing with Shoreline Properties is humiliating, degrading, embarrassing, and exhausting. It took me way too long to make this decision, especially since there are other options. This review is based on 6 years of renting with Shoreline. As a general rule, we have been happy with our rentals. The majority have been clean and without problems. But the issue here is that Shoreline is only a rental agent - they take little or no responsibility to do anything if a unit is dirty, doesn't have adequate dishes/utensils, or doesn't look like photos. We did have a problem one year where a washing machine wouldn't work, and they replaced it within a few hours - so I think for major things, they'll help. But if it's a cleaning/upkeep problem, they really don't care. This is unfortunate, because many of these rentals are not cheap. I think if people are paying $1800 a week to rent, Shoreline should at the very least be willing to send cleaners to fix problems and inspect condos periodically to make sure they have clean furniture that is reasonably updated. So in closing, basically it's a crap shoot. In 6 years of renting a different condo every year with them, we've been really happy 4 out of 6 times. The 2 times we weren't happy were due to inadequate cleaning or kitchens missing basic utensils (pots, knives) - nothing major. So overall you're likely to get an ok unit, but yeah, if you get a filthy one, forget getting help. read more

Normally I would give Shoreline a 5 star. We have rented through them countless times. Check inis super fast and easy. The linen package is so worth the money. Units are usually well equipped and clean. We rented a townhouse this year and it was more than adequate even had a nice outdoor shower. Parking was convenient and location was perfect however.... the unit is for sale and a realtor showed up to do a showing while we were there. I declined letting them in because we were trying to get the Grandson to nap. There was a key lock box out front which made me uncomfortable as to who had keys. The hot water didn't work the first day until my son figured out the breaker was shut off. Just not a 5 star this time but all in al a great place for our family. read more

Only gave a star because we had too. I booked a property in Ocean City with Shoreline thru HomeAway.com. After confirming the booking they tell me if I don't upgrade to the linens package for $91 I won't get sheets or towels. Not big deal I do lots of HomeAway standard process. They send a contract that states without linen package you get not towels, sheets, blankets, pillows, radios or clocks. WHOA now that's way different and a non starter for us as this is for bike week and can't pack pillows and blankets on a bike. Call to cancel and they say they only will refund their piece and I have to call HomeAway. HMMMM as a owner with 4 places on HomeAway they could just click the app. I push on this fact and the lady says if you know so much try to do it yourself and hangs up on me. But no instead I have to call HomeAway who....you guessed it had to call them to click ok to cancel. Terrible customer service and this is as they are taking the money can't imagine after. Update: The property management team lied in their update posted. We called the same day we checked in within the hour of checking and viewing the property. I posted the yelp review a day later when they initially offered no assistance. Once my Yelp review went live they requested to come see the house. We walked around and pointed out all the defects, lack of cleanliness, and outdated/destroyed furniture. We explained to them how we had to go buy numerous cleaning products to make sure the space was sanitary as we have small children with us. We completely re cleaned the house. Since we had already cleaned the manager offered to have new pots/pans delivered within two hours. It was the next day and we had not heard back. They did eventually bring the pots and pans on the last day of our week stay. They asked my mother to relay a message to edit my review but unfortunately cannot and I stand by my initial comments. This company has been very unresponsive and very inconsiderate of the current circumstances. My husband and i booked a condo for the last week of July back in november. Before all the covid-19 pandemic was even around. Normally we would go on with our vacation as planned but myself and my 5-year old daughter just tested positive for covid. I am currently hospitalized for an undetermined amount of time. This company has told us no cancellations or reschedules no matter the circumstances. In the documents we signed back in November there was no policy for covid-19 and the policy changed months after we signed the contract. We have offered proof of test and hospital records showing the current situation my family is in. We have not asked to cancel we only asked to reschedule for next summer. They have declined our offer and we are out thousands of dollars. After this horrible experience i want to warn others about the etiquette and how they have handled our particular situation and their day to day business. It is very disturbing a company can do this and not have consideration for the circumstances. Please do your research before booking with this company. No one knew we would be facing a global pandemic back in November and furthermore contract the virus and become hospitalized. Horrible customer service! This company has been non-responsive and unhelpful during this stressful time for my family. I booked a condo with Shoreline back in November 2019 and paid a large deposit. Fast forward to spring 2020 and there is a worldwide pandemic and state of emergency in my state of New York. My husband lost his job and we are having a hard time financially. The whole reason we were coming to OCMD was for my daughter's dance competition which is canceled. I emailed my representative Bonnie asking for my options and whether I can get a refund. She was very abrupt in her response and did not offer ANY options. She just stated that there are no refunds unless OC is shut down. I responded with my disappointment in there being no sort of accommodations offered and there has been no response. So on top of not being offered ANY type of refund I was also not given an option to forward my deposit to summer 2021 when our dance studio now plans to attend OCMD for the Nationals competition. During this horrible and difficult time in my life Shoreline had the opportunity to make life a little less stressful for my family but has chosen to not respond or make any type of accommodations and make our lives harder. This is very, very upsetting that a company would act in such a way in these unprecedented times. I will NOT be renting from Shoreline when we come to OCMD for our rescheduled competition in 2021 and will make sure all of my dance studio families does not either!! We had a small group of friends get together for the weekend at the Pyramid near the 4th of July weekend. Most places are very busy during this time but Ocean City was no where near being completely filled this year. We registered for a weekend on HomeAway because the user interface is very easy to work with and the price was fair. The price for 3 nights was around $900 with check out being at 10:00. We had to go to a rental company (ShoreLine) to grab the keys for the apartment. We had been told that parking would be provided for 1 vehicle which was great for us considering that we were carpooling to save on space and cost. When we arrived, we were told that parking cost $30 per day (to be fair, the parking lot across the street in front of the grocery store is free). I wish that had been communicated ahead of time to ensure that we were informed. When we got to the hotel we parked across the street and used one of their carts to transport our luggage. The apartment seemed to be very dirty for being "cleaned" prior to arrival. There were broken chips in the carpet on the floor along with a round from a childs nerf gun on the floor in the living room. The apartment did not come with any towels or bedding (this was communicated ahead of time). The part that everyone forgot to mention was that the apartment did not come with toilet paper or other cleaning supplies for the end of the week. You as the renter are responsible for cleaning the apartment upon checking out. There were also several drains that were broken that we had to use tools to force open to drain water from the shower and sinks. At this point, I called the rental company and tried to explain my concerns but was reassured that anything minor could be marked on the list that they provided for damaged things within the unit. We tried our best to enjoy our time at Ocean City for the weekend and were glad to find that there were kitchen utensils as well as pots/pans to cook. There is a dishwasher but we had to go buy our own detergent. I spoke with the manager during the checkout process and he attempted to explain that we should have informed them of the issues up front but the lady I spoke to on the phone said they will take care of everything, just mark it on the sheet. He said he would speak with his manager about the situation but did not do a good job of de-escalating the situation. I would not recommend this hotel to someone unless there are not other locations. Please don't use this place, communication and customer satisfaction are not a priority for this organization. read more

Outstanding customer service...And I wasn't a customer! Vaughn, the owner, personally helped me when I locked our family OUT of a rental condo -- that his company didn't even manage! I was locked out of the condo next to the Shoreline Properties office, so I went in hoping they manged our unit. They didn't, but I was PANICed (my dog was locked inside, I had no money or phone) so he helped me by searching online to find the correct rental company; then he let me use his phone to call my husband. Vaughn calmly endured some profanity! He and his whole office were so willing to help and did whatever they could to help us in an emergency. The next day when Clifford, the dog, and I went back to thank them, the whole office was very nice. I will use them in the future. Two Thumbs up. We rented a condo through Shoreline Properties, Inc. for our first family vacation with our 11 month old son. I could not beleive the unsanitary conditions in the condo and the poor customer service that we received. As soon as we picked up the keys to the rental from Shoreline Properties we went straight to the condo to unpack. The first walk through the condo I was surprised that their were sheets on the bed as I was told that if we did not purchase the linen package, there would be no sheets/pillows on the bed. Then I realized there was black mascara and eyeliner and brown stains on the pillows. At that time I called Shorline to ask them why there are dirty sheets on the bed. The first call I asked for a manager but the lady that answered the phone asked if she could help. I explained the issue to her and she told me that I did not order the linen package so clean linens was not to be expected. I told her that I could not beleive that they left dirty, used linens on the bed if you did not order the linen package and that I expected nothing to be on the bed at our arrival. She then told me that if I wanted them clean that I had to wash them and then she told me to just take them off. So I hung up the phone in disbelief and my husband and I started taking off the sheets. It was then that we saw huge pee stains on the matress. We fliped the matress over and there was a even bigger pee stain on the other side - it almost went from one side of the matress to the other and stunk. I called Shoreline Properties again. This time I waiting to speak to a manager, Keti. I started off by explaing to her that this all started with the dirty sheets. She confirmed that I did not buy the linen package so there shouldn't have been any sheets/pillow cases on there and the prior renters must have left theirs. In complete discust I asked why the cleaning people did not see it and take it off. She said that the renters must have not taken them off the bed and set them in the corner as they should have so the laundry people did't know take them. At this point I was completely grossed out and wondering if the cleaning people even came since their were dead bugs on the floor in the living room. I then told Keti that this is an unheathy environment and that she had 3 options; 1,switch our matress out with one without stains, 2, switch us to a different condo, or 3 give us our money back. She refused to do any and was very arrogant about it by saying the following, "I don't understand what the big deal is" and "I am not a matress store I can not just send a new mattress," and maybe it was just a baby that peed on it." Her solution was to put a mattress cover on it and sleep on it. My hunsband replied maybe it was or maybe it was someone with hepitas or AIDS. When we were on the phone for hours with Ketie and didn't get any kind of sympathy or concern I spoke to the owner Maddie and still did't get anywhere. They said the owner of the condo refused to switch out the matress or buy a new one and only was willing to give us half of our money back - Which was completely unacceptabe. We did not stay at the condo. This vacation was a complete disaster to say the least and I can not beleive the disconcern and unwillingness to accomodate our request in a legimate complaint. I will never use or refer Shoreline Properties to anyone. read more

Shoreline Properties, Sea Breeze Condos located on 94th and Dory St. I got here, and inspected the place out. Not bad for a 3 bedroom and 2 baths, but, everything was dirty, the floors, bedrooms, and bathroom, started to inspect the beds, disgusting, found a bug similar to a bed bug, never went back in that room, call to complain, they didn't do anything, who has a full kitchen and don't install a kitchen light, the only light available was the stove light, huge living room but no tables, will not come back to this place ever again. read more

We have used Shoreline to rent our property since 2014. They have been very responsive to any repairs our unit has needed while a renter is there. We have used other companies in the past and have had nightmares. Unfortunately the big problem is with the cleaning companies who are to clean the properties and report back to Shoreline with any issues or problems that they notice from previous renters. The cleaners are hit or miss. This is very unfortunate for both Shoreline, the cleaning company and the unit owner. If you call Shoreline they are very responsive and will come out or send a cleaner out to reclean. Unfortunately some of the previous tenants who are supposed to remove the trash, clean and put away all dishes make the beds, etc. will leave the place a mess. We have renovated our property and are in the process of replacing some of the furniture. This is an every winter season process. We take pride in our unit and want renters to enjoy staying there. For the past 10 years or so, a group of friends and Myself have been visiting Ocean City for the annual summer cruising event held in May. with trying to get everything together within our group, I had taken over finding a place that would work for all of us. In 2018, I had used Shoreline Properties to secure a rental for the upcoming 2019 car show. I will say that everything went great leading up to and even during the event. The rental itself was great and we were all very happy with it, so we were very happy and excited to secure the rental for following visits (as long as it was still within Shoreline's rental group) Upon checking out, I had handed in our keys as well as the envelope with a card to rate how everything was with the stay. On that card, there is also a spot that can be filled out so that the rental group knows if you would like to re rent the place the following year. This was filled out and handed in with the keys. I had figured everything was fine and hoped to return in 2020 to the same place, due to how great everything seemed to be. It was my understanding that we would be notified once the 2020 season rentals had come out as long as the unit we had stayed in was still being listed with Shoreline. On October 19th, I had received an email from Shoreline about upcoming rentals, so I had called Shoreline. Upon calling the office, a woman had informed me that the unit we were in, had been rented for the dates that we were in for, However she informed me that it was not our reservation and the rental had been reserved by someone else. She could not find the card/envelope with my info that was handed in, and asked me to call back the next day so that I could talk with another lady that also handles rentals there. The following day, I had contacted them and asked for the other person as instructed, only to be told that they could not find my info and that there was nothing they could do, as the rental had been reserved already. I had asked if there was anyone that I could speak with to try an resolve this issue or to see if maybe there was another rental in their group that something could be worked out on since they had lost our info. I was told the manager was busy. By this point I was extremely frustrated and feeling as though I let our group of friends down considering I try to plan pretty far ahead, so I asked if the woman could have the manager give me a call and hopefully find a solution. Like I had said, up to this point everything had seemed to be good and I was happy to work with Shoreline. After a few days, I had not received any calls and have not gotten any emails from them. They have seemed to not want to help a previous customer with resolving an issue that to me, was a fault on them. As someone that works in a place where customer service is the biggest part of my job, I understand that mistakes happen, but not working with a customer to try an resolve an issue is not good business nor will it make people want to work with you read more
