My monthly bill had doubled in this period! What a scam. However, Tony walked me thru transparently how secure space does the billing and helped me set up a new storage unit in the same building for the same price as I originally signed up for. I was going to leave secure space for good and take my business elsewhere, but knowing there is personal customer service that is willing to look out for my interests has convinced me to stay. I hope secure space is listening--Tony knows how to earn ppls business and he's earned mine. Much gratitude!

Yet despite such a low bar for beating the competition, Peoples Storage still goes above and beyond to provide great security, facilities, and customer service. I highly recommend them and will definitely be returning if I need a storage unit or parking space again.

Which does mean you have to follow the rules, but what you get is the peace of mind that your unit is safe from theft or damage. Accessing the unit is easy, the bay is huge, the elevators are large, and I've never had to wait on someone else to access my unit. They have a bunch of dollies on site and their shop is very fairly priced if you need a lock, boxes or packing material. The building is gated making it even more secure. I highly recommend this place especially if your items are valuable or would benefit from temperate control.

I shopped around for storage units pretty extensively and this was the best deal I found in the Seattle area - including insurance it comes out to $68 per month for my 8x10 (other places are more expensive at a base cost, and often only have one or 2 months discounted rent). Move in was easy, I was able to drive up and park right next to the door and borrow their carts, use the freight elevator and load up the unit quickly. The place is not shiny or fancy by any means, but they have excellent safety measures and inside the building is clean and dry (no weird smells). Best yet, the folks who work here are completely delightful, easy to reach by phone, and so kind and helpful!

Today I got there and my lock had been drilled. Hundreds of dollars worth of stuff stolen. Coincidentally I just switched to my own insurance instead of there's. Mine was the only unit hit as well. The staff could care less and are totally useless. Absolutely no accountability and informed me that the company holds no liability for my stuff getting stolen. No one noticed the drilled lock even though they supposedly do sweeps of the units. I will be moving out of here as fast as I can. Plus I have to file the theft report so hours of my time wasted because they don't keep a secure facility. If your thinking about renting here, think again. Reading other reviews, it seems break-ins are a recurring issue, which makes it even more frustrating that there don't appear to be adequate security measures in place, such as alarm systems or security cameras. I wish I had known about these concerns before renting a unit. I no longer feel confident that my belongings are safe, and it's difficult to justify continuing to pay for storage when the facility cannot provide a secure environment. I've also experienced multiple occasions where my access PIN didn't work, and there were no employees available to help. On one visit, another customer had already been waiting for over an hour for assistance. The lack of security, customer support, and on-site staff has been extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this facility based on my experience.
