Love the vibes here with the fun artwork, funny shirts, live music, and the comfortable seating areas with games. This is a great neighborhood spot with incredible food. It was difficult for me to decide what to get because everything looked so good. I ended up going with the Millie, maybe because it was listed first? Anyway, it was fantastic. My friend had the Ollie which was also great. Oh my gosh and the fried pickles?!?! Some of the best I've ever had. My only suggestion is to consider a hotdog flight so guests can try multiple styles. I'm thinking two smaller hot dogs cut in half and on mini buns (mini naans?). I think this goes back to my FOMO of not being able to try everything on the menu.

What a perfect way to spend a Sunday morning- delicious doughnuts, $15 bottle of mimosas, live music on the outdoor patio. My family loved everything about this place! Popping in on a Sunday morning, we got the table with swing chairs on the back patio. We ordered delicious doughnuts and the $15 bottle of mimosas Sunday deal. For two hours, we sat listening to live music and playing Connect Four. (They have many board games inside and even a pool and fussball table.) Service was excellent!

Hubby and I had a hot dog weekend going to the best of the best. This hidden away gem was truly a great find. Artfully presented and carefully made, our meal had all of the flavors we were looking for. And can I just say that the Mac and cheese flight is not to be ignored. I loved the chili one, bacon but I especially loved the one with what I believe was green chili in it. Correct me if I'm wrong. And the pretzel bun was delicious with the brat. This has an awesome patio area to hang out on, along with a great seating area with nooks and crannies and don't miss out on the "dog walls of fame". When I'm in the area again I plan to go back. Parking is around back in a lot. Check it out and sit at the bar and enjoy your beer.

Super-cute place with donuts, beer and hot dogs. Bonus points because they have veggie dogs, and they are treated just like the other dogs, meaning you can customize them the same way as the meat kind. A lot of places only offer one kind of vegetarian option, with no way to customize it other than the way it's presented, so I appreciated all the options I had. My poutine veggie dog was super-delicious and definitely loaded - plenty to eat. Overall, lots of different ways to customize your hot dog. I've included a partial photo of the menu. Also really appreciate that they have donuts and baked goods. I had to try the orange-pistachio donut. Kinda wished for a stronger orange flavor, but it's not like I didn't devour the whole thing all the same! Coffee and beer is available depending on what you're going for. Really fun space with a cute theme around dogs and a lot of humor around it.

This was my first time experiencing Short Leash Hotdogs and Taproom. I've been wanting to try them out for a while and I finally had the chance to do so. I like this place, the style is so unique to match their style of cuisine. The service was good. I ordered the Chicago dog and fries and being from Chicago, I would say their Chicago dog is a modified version of a true Chicago hot dog. Instead of the traditional sports peppers, they put pepperoncini's on their dogs. I would also recommend asking for more mustard. Overall, the hotdog was really good and I'm eager to go back to try something different.

I love donuts so when I found this spot while visiting Phoenix, I had to try it. My husband and I shared: - Raspberry Jam + Lemon - Black + Blue Jam Lavender Sugar - Chai Filled Maple Glazed Donuts The raspberry lemon one was my favorite. It was a great combo and I love glazed donuts. The chai one didn't taste like chai to me, but it was still really good. You can't go wrong with whatever flavor you choose. We got there in the afternoon and they were out of a couple of flavors I wanted to try, so go earlier in the morning if you want the full selection. I also love hot dogs, so I'd definitely come back and get some of those next time too!

5.6.22 Wow - I live less than two miles away & it took an out-of-towner, who USED to live here, to finally transport me to this famous local spot. So many incredible aspects to this restaurant that have probably been pointed out, but I'll mention b/c this was my first time: * live music * outdoor patio w/ super comfy hanging chairs * chill crowd w/ babies, dogs and the camaraderie of regular customers * sweet server * fun marketing BUT...(you knew it was coming)...the food?! Just ok. I ordered the Cubano, expecting my dog to be filled with pork, melted Swiss and sliced pickles. More than half of my order was the huge piece of naan that the dog arrives in. I love naan but it could have seriously been cut in HALF. Also the cheese was just sprinkled on there. My friend ordered the Devil Dog and also commented that it was way TOO much bread. He liked the toppings, but if the star is the hot dog, then why isn't it treated as such? I was excited to order plain fries, even though the menu offers ALL kinds of creatively covered & smothered fries. These were just right - not soggy/greasy but crispy on the outside and softer in the middle. We didn't get to the donuts but they sound divine...Always love something to look forward to...

VIBES: 5/5 FOOD: 4/5 SERVICE: 5/5 VALUE: 4.5/5 I love this spot! Great vibes, a lot of room, and a decent selection of food and drinks. I'm actually not such a fan of their hot dogs, but their donuts are amazing--some of the best ever--and I loved my fried green tomato breakfast bowl I got from the brunch menu. They have free WiFi, lots of tables, a pool table, and lots of board games. Super fun spot--good for big groups or smaller crowds.

I can't believe I haven't stopped in here after frequenting Melrose. The food here is pretty spectacular. The appetizers will blow you away. We got the cheese curds and the fried pretzels. We also got a couple entrees, the bratwurst and the veggie dog. Incredibly happy. Staff was kind and as quick as they could be with the amount of people in the restaurant. It's clear that this is a very family friendly place. We were surrounded by families. If you don't like kids it's not the place for you.

(3.5) ONLY OPEN WEEKENDS (FRI - SUN) DOG FRIENDLY PATIO Once they run out of donuts that's it. 3pm on Saturday & they were down to only like 6. I was able to snag the CHAI FILLED MAPLE GLAZED & BOURBON FILLED. Both had a lot of cream & fluffy dough texture. They have such an interesting variety of flavors. I want to try them all. Sadly the hotdog was a bit disappointing. I got the OLIVE with the MANGO HABANERO wiener. The concept of using NAAN as the bun is unique but the bread to meat ratio was off. There was a hit of sweetness from the mango habanero but I could only get hints of it because the naan was overwhelming. The interior is so cute! A wall covered in photos of well loved dogs. Pool table & foosball table. The outdoor area has swing seats. This is definitely a really fun spot to hang out. I wouldn't get the hotdogs again but there's a few other items on the menu I could get next time.

One of my new favorite places in Phoenix! The staff was super nice and inviting and the food was some of the best I've had! I got the Coconut Thai donut and it was in the top 3 if not thee best donut I have ever had. If you love custard and chewy/fluffy donuts, you will love it. Based off the bake and flavors, I am sure their other donuts are amazing as well. The hotdogs are also so unique! I love the fact they are wrapped in naan (but I am also obsessed with naan so I may be biased). I got one with arugula and goat cheese, which was actually a little dry, but I appreciated the different flavor profile. There is plenty of seating with a lot of open space. My friend and I ended up doing some work there and we felt relaxed in it the whole time. But there is not much outlet space fyi. Their patio looks very fun and I heard they do a lot of events, so it would be cool to go back for one. Overall, if you are in the area, you need to check it out!

This place is so cute and a bit hidden! The patio out back has such a quaint seating area with pretty lights and a few swinging chairs. It feels like the perfect spot to hang out after a long day. The staff was incredibly helpful. When trying to pick out a beer to try, as they have ample selection, the waiter brought out several and described each enthusiastically. It was an extra step that went beyond what most do. I ordered the Sunny dog, which I thought was a really cool combination. The only suggestion I have for it is that a different sauce may make it a little less dry. Otherwise I really enjoyed it. Overall will definitely return to try one of the other funky flavors and enjoy the patio!!

This was such a random place that we HAD to try it. They have crazy naan hot dogs but somehow they work! My friend got the Bear and she really liked it and said there were so many different flavors but they all worked well together. It was huge though so very difficult to eat without making at least a small mess. Our server was so nice and willing to answer any of our questions. Parking: they have a small lot in back. There aren't too many spots but lucked out on a Saturday. Donuts: unfortunately, we went too late for good donut choices. They sell out early so that's a good sign, right? I do want to go back to try the donuts.

I arrived a bit before 6 to find it closed, no sign on the door and nothing online stating it had closed. So we headed downtown to the second location. I arrived about 6:10 pm and was asked if I had a reservation. I explained that we went to the other location only to find it closed and when we called the only number on the website to make a reservation (earlier in the day), no one answered the phone. We called multiple times. The guy at the door informed us the other location had closed and he couldn't seat us until 8 pm unless we wanted to sit at the bar. I asked to speak with a manager and was told there was no manager there. A restaurant should always have a manager or someone on site empowered to address customer concerns. We agreed to sit at the bar. First we ordered cocktails for $17 each. While they were tasty and refreshing, they had virtually no alcohol. I ordered the Kra Pow and, on the server's recommendation, chose the pork belly. My friend ordered the Pad Ki-Mao with pork belly. After waiting 30-45 minutes for the food, it finally arrived. Mine was dry pieces of pork belly, dry rice, an egg and three cucumber slices, no sauce whatsoever. When I asked for sauce, I was offered soy sauce and hot chili. My friend's noodles were tasty, but she also thought her pork belly was dry. The server, who was also the host and bartender didn't check in on us a single time during our meal. Between the outdated website, unanswered phone, lack of management and service, long wait and underwhelming food and drinks, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. I expected much more from this place.

I hadn't tried this location on 7th until just recently, when I came by during happy hour with some friends. There is a spacious parking lot tucked away in the back, opposite of the street view side. This is also where the entrance is! Walk toward the breezeway and it's to your right. Immediately, we were greeted by our host and the warm/inviting atmosphere. I'm impressed by how well decorated both LeDu locations are, in unique ways. We got the fried tofu, passion fizz, lychee martini, jungle bird, and my usual pad thai with beef and beansprouts on the side. Passion Fizz: passion fruit, demerera, sparkling wine - sweet, light, refreshing Lychee martini: vodka, lychee, dry vermouth, lime - sweet, strong, lychee flavor is perfect and not overpowering Jungle Bird: spiced rum, campari, pineapple, lime - sweet, deep flavor from the rum Fried tofu: a little dry even with the sauce, a small portion for the price, not my favorite Pad thai: tangy/sweet, packed with flavor, always delicious from LeDu!
