Huge portions! Great food. Very affordable. Plus, the dude is a genuine awesome guy. If you live in the area and are having a beer somewhere close, visit him.

So I rolled up to this hole in the wall bar a friend of mine wanted to go to. And there before me was this hot dog stand. Yassss! I'm from L. A. so when I go somewhere and there is a hot dog stand outside of it, there are two things I am certain of: 1. The place your going is going to be off the chain. 2. When you're done partying, they'll be yummy for your tummy afterwards.

There's nothing more I enjoy then when I see JP's hot dogs cart staring me in the face because I know I'm going to get a great great hot dog at reasonable price served by a wonderful man with a great big smile When you stop by his cart you feel like your family cuz he just has a nice conversation with you and just makes you happy and your tummy happy

I don't know where to start. The quality of all the ingredients are outstanding. The owner himself serves you with a smile. He makes your dog and street tacos himself! If you are lucky enough to catch it, there's street corn!!

YES all the stars…read more The vibe alone once you walk it is exquisite. They offer indoor seating, bar seating, and outdoor seating. I believe the outdoor patio offers a lighter menu option compared to sitting inside. The staff holds exceptional standards. Not only were they friendly and helpful but they worked as a team. While I'm asking the waitress questions, another staff member comes up and takes the dirty plates from her hands so sly. Now onto the food....words don't do the pictures justice. Everything I ate was amazing. I would absolutely visit again, again, and again! I'm still thinking about the insane flavors each item brought. I would have not ordered the sushi cubes but our waitress said I would enjoy it based on our convo, she was CORRECT! The chicken sliders still keep me up at night dreaming of them. If I lived closer I would order from this place frequently. The drinks were strong and a perfect balance. I've heard you can't go wrong with anything on the menu and I can't wait to test that theory.

And as a sushi chef myself, I can honestly say I was impressed. Last night, Phebe was our server and she was incredibly sweet and attentive. The bone marrow was interesting and flavorful, but I'm not sure it was worth $25. The oysters were good, although I wish there had been a few different sauce options beyond the basic preparation. The steak was probably a 3.2/5 for me--it was good, but at $62, I expected more, especially considering it was served with fries. Service was good overall, although the experience started off a little strangely. We had made a reservation and mentioned that it was our anniversary, that we were trying a new restaurant, and that we were hoping to make the evening special. Unfortunately, none of that was acknowledged. When we arrived, we were directed to the front, where the hostess seemed confused about our reservation before eventually taking us to our table. I wasn't expecting anything extravagant, but even a simple "Happy Anniversary" would have made a difference. The ambience was definitely one of the highlights--moody, intimate, and a nice setting for a date night. I was actually happy that we were seated along the back wall rather than in the main dining area. Overall, I'd give the experience about a 2.7/5. The food was decent and the atmosphere was nice, but for the price ($85 per person), I expected a little more from both the food and the overall experience. Especially for an anniversary dinner, it was disappointing to make a point of mentioning the occasion and have it go completely unacknowledged.

Although it was Easter Sunday, the evening was not very crowded, and we were all able to find parking with no problem. The price and quantity were all very lovely. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and tasted great! The dessert was the perfect size and a guilt-free option after a lovely meal. They even gave my mother a birthday dessert with a candle. They have a very nice menu for happy hour, including several choices $7 glass of wine- everyone at the table was able to find something that they liked. We also ordered an assortment of items, the flatbreads, Ahi tuna, crabcakes, goat, cheese dip. There was plenty for the five of us for a lite dinner. Dee was our server and she was delightful! I really like the ambience of this restaurant, especially when you're in a back corner. We had plenty of time to reconnect and catch up with each other. Definitely one of the better happy hour spots in town. I also appreciate that you do not have to sit at the bar in order to participate in happy hour, that has become custom in some places and that's a real pain when you're trying to visit with people. We spent about $40 per person before tip.

They have outside seating with a ton of misters. I believe that you can stay cool but if you're worried about frizz and your hair, I wouldn't do it lol They have a happy hour until 5 pm EVERY DAY!!! And PLENTY of options which is much appreciated. We all enjoyed our drinks, pretty to the eye and going down the hatch haha (espresso martini not on happy hour-see menu) We didn't get food but damn their ribs smelt so good, I have to come back for that. Plus, you can still order ice cream and I think that's so amazing and they look like they have so many delicious flavors. I want to try that as well. Service was awesome and friendly. Our waitress came back around before the happy hour ended to get any last-minute orders and that was really appreciated. You don't get that often or ever. I love the feel of the bar. It has a classic fuel makes you feel outside of Arizona. You can definitely go on a date, catch up with friends, or enjoy the bar to yourself. Our server Jacob was excellent and very professional and friendly. He checked on us regularly and never left us waiting for service. We started with dirty martinis and they were prepared perfectly. Icy and filled to the rim. I ordered the Short Rib Potstickers $19- As an entree. Toasted sesame, cilantro, ponzu. Delicious. A good amount of short rib in each potsticker and plenty of sauce. My husband ordered the Blackened Sea bass Tacos $28 - blue corn tortilla, grilled pineapple salsa, red cabbage slaw, poblano crema. He loved these tacos. He said they were very, very good and the fish was cooked perfectly. For a side, we ordered the Spicy Double Egg Fried Rice. $9. Wow, this was packed with flavor. A nice size for the price. It is beautiful, spacious, and has two floors! The setting is clearly above your usual brunch spots and the booths offer a more intimate experience. My party and I were privileged to sit in direct view of the open kitchen. We got to see and hear the kitchen staff working together and communicating smoothly. We even heard the "hands" announcements like you see on The Bear TV show! I believe the food here was on par with the West Hollywood location, so points for consistency. Unfortunately, I have the same qualms for flavor for their dishes. I tried the short rib pot stickers, the tortilla soup, and the Bolognese pasta. I would say that the flavors were not especially strong for each dish. I think they each needed a pinch of extra seasoning to really make their flavors pop! Moreover, I tried my girlfriend's Rigatoni Alla Vodka and the cheese had no taste! Nevertheless, the dishes were beautiful. Lastly, I had a bit of an issue with our service. Our server passed by our table multiple times as we tried to flag her down to ask for the check. I think she could have been more attentive especially in the context of this higher-end brunch spot. With all of these factors combined, it's an overall 4/5 for me.
