Made reservations for 22 for a Saturday night. This bar was recommended to us by a few locals. It definitely is a happening place to be. They seated us towards the back at these picnic area type tables which worked out fine. We were separated by three different tables though so if you're looking to sit together for a large party, I'm not sure how they would accommodate. The service was great and the waitress did a great job matching up our volleyball players with their parents even if we were sitting at different tables. I ordered the Cobb salad with chicken and it was a huge portion. Others at the table ordered the tacos and said they were really good (deep fried). I had thee worst encounter ever last night 9/9/2026 close to 8pm. A male friend and I headed to PInt for a good time and to watch the Sea Hawks and Patriots football game. On this day it was gloomy with scattered showers. I was surprised to see the tables outside on the sidewalk out but they did have umbrellas to cover the tables. I (Black woman) had a seat with a black and Mild (cigar- like a cigarette) in my hand but not lit and my male friend ( young black male) was standing for a while and smoking a black and mild ( cigar). Three, young ladies had sat at another table ( Pint table on sidewalk) and was eating ice cream they had purchased somewhere else. Me and my friend was probably at the table no longer than 4-5 minutes before we were approached by a Caucasian female with blonde hair pulled back in a hair clip ( assuming management). First, thing she said when she approached us was " I cant have you doing these activities out her, " I asked what activities and she replied "this" pointing to my male friend smoking. Then she goes to say " and its not giving that you are going to order anything." I asked what gave her that impression that we were not buying anything and she goes to say " it just don't." i asked her well where is my waitress because i haven't even been served yet? Now this made me very uncomfortable since the three Caucasian women who stopped and had a seat at the Pint table outside just to talk and eat ice cream were not approached. I'm not sure who told her to come outside and approach me and my friend but she made me think twice about returning. I have to say there was no posted do not smoke on the sidewalk signs posted anywhere close or at least i didn't notice any. I will be calling in to explain this situation to management a little better sometime today. I tried to sleep this off but yet I still woke up bothered by her body language and her assumptions. I think asking him to put it out and explained why would have been better for business. Then she could have asked us if we were dining in. I'm so confused on why she thought we were not dining in. Racial profiling is at a all time high and I hope this was not what she was doing. read more

Excellent place to enjoy happy hour. We were able to get a table at the window which is garage style opened so you feel like you are on the street. Great spot for people watching. I popped into Pint House once for a Sunday night football game. You sit down where you like and are greeted by staff with a menu shortly after. I went with their burger, which was cooked how I liked, and came with these great fries as well. I'd like to mention they have gluten free and beyond meat options as well. The lighting was great inside, and TV sets in all the right places, no matter where you're seated you could see and hear the game. They played good alternative songs on commercial breaks, and there was hardly any wait time at the bar. I come back here at least once a month, if not more. read more

The staff was friendly and quickly placed our orders and brought our food out to us. It's a great sports bar vibe and I could see us coming back with a group of friends on a night out. It's the perfect place to watch any game as they have many tv screens plastered all over the walls, true sports bar style. I was surprised by how much we enjoyed the food and drinks here, and we're already looking forward to coming back to take advantage of some of their other specials in the future. PROS: -I'm a pretzel snob. Like, it's by-far one of my favorite foods. It isn't often that I come across pretzels I haven't had before, and the Short North Pint House has me dead to rights here. They have a $19 (it's expensive) "pretzel flight" that's made up of 3 pretzels and 3 corresponding dips. It is expensive for how much food you get, but the pretzels are (literally) stuffed. There's cream cheese in one of them and cheese in another. They're probably some of the most unique pretzels I'm going to have this entire year. -Tablemate got the wings. He said they were were good. They were overcooked and a bit dry, but that's all that he said would have kept them from being genuinely great. Good wing size, sauce flavor, and heat. -Really, really good espresso martini. -I'm not sure if they're beyond-packed on Thursday or dead, but they have wing specials, beer specials, $5 Espresso martinis, and more on Thursday. It's a wild day full of specials. CONS: -Almost all (I wanna say, like 90%) of the seating is high top tables meant for at least 4 people (in many cases, 4-12). If you're someone who doesn't find high tops comfortable or can't get on them, this will be problematic. There are a few picnic-style tables in the very back, but when I went, this section said "seating offlimits". -It's kinda loud in here. We came during off-peak times, and it was still pretty hard to hear one another. Bright side: we did end up getting a table though. But I imagine this place can be one of those "scream at your nearby tablemate" places when they're at peak hours. -We came for the Restaurant Week menu during the Restaurant Week days. The waitress, however, let us know they had chosen to stop doing Restaurant Week there a day early. I've walked by this spot a million times but never tried it. I tried once before but the place was packed on a game day so I walked in and walked out. That day is was so crowded and the wait would have been forever. However, today I was the first customer of the day and no one was here yet on a Sunday. The place has a cool vibe so I can see why it would be popular. I'm here to get my brunch on! I kick started my meal with a spicy Bloody Mary. I was tempted to go for their Loaded Giant Bloody Mary but decided to cool my jets and simply go for the House Bloody Mary. I must say they have a great spicy Bloody Mary mix but they are light on the alcohol. I ordered another one and it was the same way. Another shot of vodka would have made these an acceptable drink. I went with the Breakfast Wrap with Truffle Fries to help soak up this Bloody Mary lol. Everything came out looking amazing! Unfortunately the truffle fries had very little flavor. I kept adding salt to help but nothing could have made these fries taste good. I was so disappointed. Thankfully the breakfast burrito was wonderful! It was packed with flavor. This breakfast wrap was made with eggs, beer cheese, potatoes, grilled peppers and onions. I would order this again, minus the truffle fries. Overall the experience was positive. I would definitely come back. The service was ok, but the lack of attention just meant less bloody mary cocktails. I would have ordered more but I just refuse to have to run the waitress down to order them. I'm one of those who believe the server should be watching the table attentive enough to ask if I want another. My waitress seemed to be more interested in flirty kissy face with the guy a few tables down. I would like to add to Ella W's review. I was trying to communicate with the bartender after he quarreled with my friend who felt sick. I tried asserting that she had no bad intentions of spitting in her cup after she took a shot and felt ill. Instead, he said I was yelling at him, but I am incapable of yelling due to my vocal condition I've had for a while now. I felt very invalidated in this moment and that my concerns and my friend's concerns weren't being listened to. We are both very respectful people that have worked in food service, and he just automatically assumed we had malicious intent. This is absolutely not the case, and it felt like an attack on both of our characters. The bartenders here need to do better and not assume the worst of people. This was honestly a very bad part of our night, and we were just trying to celebrate our friend's birthday. read more

Favorite happy hour spot in Short North. Love that they have the roof open on nice days and the huge windows keep the fresh air flowing creating a great atmosphere. Their staff is amazing and help create a buzzing ambiance. As for drinks, it's a beer lover's haven. So many options on draft and delicious handcrafted cocktails. Split about this review. Went yesterday for the championship game and blatantly witnessed the manager shoving people out of the way because it was crowded. This was followed by the Mickey Mouse security worker shouting "Anyone touches him or has a problem and I'll kick your ass out, ya heard". Ridiculous. When the Brown's game came on, every single TV in this bar was switched to the game!!! What?!
