Cool bar, great for drinks, fries are solid. Service was genuinely good though, multiple staff checked in and everyone was friendly. But do not order the wings. Waited an hour on a slow Monday night for cold, dry little knuckles buried under sad shaved cheese. No excuse for that on a dead night. Come to drink, eat somewhere else.

Good food, big portions for sharing with a group, nice on a warm evening, I wish the service was better.

Stopped in for happy hour with coworkers. We tried a few apps and they were all really good. My fave was the fries of course. The cocktail was strong and flavorful. They have a great assortment of cocktails. Our server was very attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back and enjoy one of the week night specials.

Hit up Short North Pint House and got the quesadilla with short rib server brought it out with spicy ranch and I was obsessed. Food came out super fast, service was on point, and those happy hour prices? Too good. Definitely gonna be back for this spot. Also love sitting at the bar because the ice section to keep your drink cold is super cool!

We came here for a quick dinner and it was pretty good, but this is definitely more of a bar than a restaurant -- it's dark and loud! Seems like a fun place but wasn't quite the vibe we were looking for. There are over 70 beers available plus a full bar and a pretty basic bar food menu. The Mac & Cheese and fries were great. I didn't love the Caesar salad, the dressing was a bit off to me. The service was good and I liked that we were able to pay via QR code when we were ready to go.

Excellent place to enjoy happy hour. We were able to get a table at the window which is garage style opened so you feel like you are on the street. Great spot for people watching. Excellent beer selection and the drafts served in a great chilled mug. The spinach artichoke dip was excellent. Great flavor with fresh chips. Wife enjoyed her cocktails and I enjoyed sampling the selection of peers. Servers were friendly and engaging. Service was spot on. Excellent place.

I popped into Pint House once for a Sunday night football game. You sit down where you like and are greeted by staff with a menu shortly after. I went with their burger, which was cooked how I liked, and came with these great fries as well. I'd like to mention they have gluten free and beyond meat options as well. The lighting was great inside, and TV sets in all the right places, no matter where you're seated you could see and hear the game. They played good alternative songs on commercial breaks, and there was hardly any wait time at the bar. I come back here at least once a month, if not more.

Short North Pint House has an unbeatable deal on Thursdays with their 75 cent wings. My boyfriend and I went back a second time after moving over to Columbus and it was just as good as we remembered. The staff was friendly and quickly placed our orders and brought our food out to us. It's a great sports bar vibe and I could see us coming back with a group of friends on a night out. It's the perfect place to watch any game as they have many tv screens plastered all over the walls, true sports bar style. They also seem to have other great deals running throughout the week like a $20 steak & fries dinner perfect for two. We definitely see ourselves coming back on a Monday to try it out for ourselves!

Pint house is a mad house at night, but a fun time! Definitely a bar for 22-30 years olds. It gets packed. This review is about their food which I think is phenomenal. Every-time I've had it , it hits the spot. It's surprisingly super good and not pricey. Their fries especially are amazing. This is a great spot for lunch and drinks, and dinner before the night.

I was a bit worried as it looks more like a night club from the outside, but the food was fantastic! We ordered the popcorn chicken, the Shanghai noon burger, mama Chien's dumplings, drunken noodles, a cobra old fashion and a local beer (paper cloud?). The chicken had some unique seasoning and the drunken noodles were phenomenal; the noodles were giant and cooked perfectly and the dish has some unique touches like pea pods that you don't usually find. You order at the bar, but even with that the service was great! A server brought out an herb for us to try that is in many of their dishes. They checked in on us several times and even refilled water, which you get yourself at the back. The customer base was very diverse. I'm guessing the place may turn more club-like later at night, but for dinner it's a perfect family restaurant.

I've been here for drinks and bites - and they have that distinction of being unique AND good. It's eclectic and Asian fusion, so if you don't like Asian flavors - you may not find something on the menu to suit your basic tastes. Plan accordingly - the food is good, the bartenders are awesome, but getting a seat can be all about timing!

Their visual chart is a…read moregodsend for cocktail explorers, and all of the drinks came out delicious and exactly as described. It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.
