Overall: Great find in downtown Columbus. We walked from our hotel and came in on a Friday morning and it wasn't crowded so we were seated immediately. Service: Our server was great. He was personable, patient and had a great sense of humor. He checked in on us throughout our meal and didn't rush us. Food: Amazing. I ordered the country fried steak and thought that the brisket was an optional add-on. To my surprise and delight that was an upcharge for additional brisket - so I had a chance for a new twist on an old classic. The meal was delicious - I would have to get used to the brisket, but it wasn't a terrible addition. I'm just used to brisket in tacos or with bbq sauce. My companion enjoyed his meal - Thit Kho Thom Hash and loved it. I'm definitely putting this on my "to-visit" list for the next time I return to Columbus. If you're in the downtown area, try it out. Came here during my trip to Ohio since this place was recommended so highly for Brunch. Loved that they had all day brunch and loved the menu items. Service was a little slow, but that's expected on a Sunday. It was a very upbeat environment, but it was also night because despite the nice decor it was still casual. The food was good, but in my opinion the portions were wayyyyyy too small to constitute the prices. We ate our full plates and were still hungry after which is insane for $20+ plates. Went there with a friend for drinks and a bit of food before a movie. I have the pancake tacos with strawberries and they were so good! Chicken was crispy and pancake was soft and fluffy. I also had a blood orange specialty drink, that was alcoholic and it also was good! We sat at the bar and the bartender was amazing! Drinks were great, service and conversation good as well. I can't say enough about this place. My sister suggested it and I'm glad we listened to her. I started with an iced latte with Baileys which was perfect. Our server let us know they use special coffee, I can't remember the name, but it is strong and flavorful. I ordered the salmon blt. I asked for extra of the sauce that's on it because it was so good. My sister ordered the chicken hotcakes tacos which she said were very good. My friend ordered the French toast casserole. Ok, so why is this the most amazing place and why haven't I been?!? It was so awesome, I had so much fun. I had the world's best espresso martini, I legit told them this. I think it's because they have their own coffee shop too, so I assume they use their own coffee. It was adorable, but fancy, but casual. It hit all the vibes. I definitely think they are more known for their breakfast and brunch, but it still hit for a Friday date night spot. We got the crap Rangoon dip, AND LET ME TELL YA. Very nicely appointed and laid out for good movement, privacy and occupancy. Love the minimalistic decor as well. We were greeted quickly and seated efficiently. Our drink orders were taken and we were given time to select our meals. In all we ordered the Kung Pao Brussel sprouts (so good!), the ravioli lasagna (very tasty and filling), and the pear, walnut and mixed greens salad(great combination of flavors). Personal consumer view, It turns me off to a business that does this and should be factored into to the cost of doing business. I have seen businesses offer a discount with cash payment which comes across a lot better (personal opinion). It's a cool place. Love the inside, and plenty of parking around. We were nicely greeted and quickly seated (I had made a reservation via OpenTable). Our server, Keri was absolutely wonderful and it was her first dinner rush and she handled it like a season pro. Finally got the chance to visit The Woodbury for the first time with my mother. I was excited to visit as I heard so many good things about the food. I ordered the ravioli lasagna and my mother ordered a fried chicken sandwich with side winder fries. We were pleasantly surprised * very pleased with our food! We both tried each other's food and were so happy about the taste. Kudos to The Woodbury for serving great food and leaving customers happy. I look forward to returning very soon with friends and family. The atmosphere was nice, but I expected it to have a different set up on the inside. This is the greatest restaurant experience of my entire life. My friends and I were in town for the Arnold. After eating slop for 3 days, this was the light at the end of the tunnel. After my initial order was submitted, another team member came to inform me of an allergen in the main item of my dish. Although frustrating, after having had to wait for a bit, the turnaround time for the other items in the rest of my order made up for the inconvenience. I visited The Woodbury in Columbus and had a pretty mixed experience. The Homestead Breakfast was honestly just not great nothing to write home about. On the bright side, the French toast was really good, and the crab Rangoon dip was solid. The biggest downside was the service. Our server kept forgetting about us multiple times throughout the meal, which definitely put a damper on the experience. Overall, decent food but the service needs improvement. read more

My friends have come here a lot for brunch since they live nearby. It's a cute space! Really well-decorated. There's also outdoor and indoor seating. Clean bathrooms too. For a Thursday afternoon, it was almost empty for Happy Hour. My friends said brunch is when it's really busy. I'm sure a lot of people hang out in Short North for HH though. There were a decent amount of HH specials. Some discounts on certain drinks and apps. We all got drinks, some of which I can't recall. There were seasonal drinks like a spritzer and a margarita. Refreshing though! They do have a coffee bar here that serves Upper Cup's coffee, so one of my table mates decided to get chai tea. It was pretty light so she asked for the chai concentrate on the side to add more flavor. We shared kung pao Brussels sprouts as our appetizer. Delicious! Such a creative idea! The portion was a bit small, but app sizes are all different for any restaurant. For entrees, they serve breakfast all day, so my friend got the hot cake chicken tacos. It looked delicious! Two sizeable pancakes with fried chicken and strawberries in it. A good mix of sweet and savory. I got the chimichurri burger hold the pepper jack. My other friends got the Woodbury burger and the crab cakes. The burgers were lacking. Mine had chimichurri sauce and avocado but it felt like something was missing. I did add more salt to the patty, but in general, it felt healthy. Not greasy or heavy. Maybe I needed a greasier, oily chimichurri sauce LOL. My friend felt the same was about the Woodbury burger and his had cheese on it. Staff was nice. They checked on us quite a lot and made sure we had enough drinks. Friendly people! Parking around here is parallel or garage. My friends who live nearby walked here, but me and another friend parked at the library garage since it was cheap! Came into the Woodbury with a reservation. Once our party was inside no one was at the host stand, okay, whatever. And then more and more time passed by, no one greeted us, looked at us, asked if we've been helped etc.. Nearly 10 mins pass and then we are acknowledged, checked in on the tablet. And the person helping us walks away with no explanation. Other people that walked in after us were happily greeted by one someone else and sat immediately. We ended up getting sat and then no one fr came by for 15 mins. No waters no anything. Both parts of my order got messed up by the kitchen. The saving grace was our server, Said! Said was amazing and truly charming. Overall had we not been served by Said, we probably would've ended up leaving. read more

This place just gets better and better. So many options! I feel like I need to eat here everyday for the foreseeable future so that I can try it all! They have such great variety!! For starters, great drinks at reasonable prices. I had a lovely old fashioned and a nice red wine. For an appetizer I tried the PB&J wings. It seems like that would be an odd combo but they were actually insanely delicious. For dinner I went with the bulgogi and lord have mercy!!! Came before a show, it was all of our first times here and I'm not sure why. Our waitress was lovely, super friendly and knowledgeable. We were there on one of the first days of the fall cocktail menu, but were happy to be Guinea pigs and give our opinions and suggestions (we liked them all, but the sangria wasn't anything extraordinary). We started with the Brussels sprouts and the crab Rangoon dip, which we all really enjoyed. For the main course, I was disappointed there wasn't anything indicated at gluten free, and the waitress wasn't sure what was. I went with the shrimp and grits tostado because they no longer have the ratatouille (though it's still on the menu and online). It was delicious though so I would recommend it, but would've preferred a vegetarian option. All my friends liked their food and it looked nice. The quiche was underwhelming one friend said. We are semi-regulars here. Come usually after the gym and sit at the counter. Service is always great. It's an old school diner with modern feel. I feel like if there was to ever be a sitcoms made in Columbus, here would be the perfect place. Love the atmosphere and green seating! I'm a designer so I truly get a kick out of the simplest touches. I've had the pancakes, crepes I think was a special once and the classic basic breakfast. Everything sounds so good tho on the menu. The Woodbury was my next stop on my search for the perfect brunch spot in Columbus. Overall it was a nice brunch. This spot is located in an odd part of downtown. There's not much around it except for the hospital. I was concerned about parking but there seemed to be plenty of street parking, especially on the weekend. The decor and atmosphere was nice. Our server Bailey was nice and friendly. The menu had some unique items that caught my interest. I finally landed on the French Toast Casserole with some scrambled eggs and bacon. The bacon was so good while the eggs were ok. However, now let me rave about this French Toast Casserole. The presentation was photo worthy. The layers of French toast with fresh strawberries and blueberries, maple syrup and yummy praline crunchy pieces. This was so good. My friend got the Chicken Hotcake Tacos. He said they were delicious. I thought it was a creative spin on the Chicken & Waffles. The one negative from the experience is Bloody Mary's. They just weren't great. I would recommend they reach out to Bristol Republic to learn how a great Bloody Mary should taste. Having said that, I'd come back here. I'd love to try their Deep Fried PB&J. O my goodness. This is the best brunch experience that I have ever had. The food was amazing and the service was also great along with the wait time. I ended up ordering the biscuits & brisket gravy which was the best thing that I have ever indulged in. I felt like I was in heaven while eating this scrumptious meal. I also had endless mimosas which were really good as well, I tried the pineapple ginger and the strawberry flavor. Personally I liked the pineapple ginger the best, but you really can't go wrong.
