All the kids on our team had a great season and are all looking forward to next season so we can continue the fun! That's what I loved about UCYSL Rec league, it's all about fun, at such a young age that is all that should matter. HYSL is very competitive and it shows because the kids from those team would be winning games and still get angry during games because their coaches push them too hard. Don't listen to any of the negative reviews, I've noticed a pattern of the people who complain the most to coaches are also the ones who never told their kids no... If you want your kid to learn how to play soccer in a safe and friendly environment then I recommend UCYSL!

Coach let us join practice to feel it out with the kids, and we signed up on the website. It's very chill, flat rate for the year, practices nearly every week day with a lot of flexibility. (We usually make it twice a week). It is low stakes/not currently part of any formal competitions which honestly is best for my kids. After raising my concerns with the management, I confirmed that the club's policy states that every player in younger teams should have the opportunity to play in each half of the game. At the start of the second season, parents and players were required to sign a conduct contract drafted by the coach. We were told that without signing, players would not be allowed to participate in matches. The coach used this contract against my son this season, once again preventing him from playing in the first half. By doing so, the coach was able to officially limit my son's playtime in matches.
