I had the pleasure of working with Jake from Skye Homes through a transaction that my clients just…read moreclosed on. Jake is extremely responsive and very accommodating to a lot of my buyers requests. Before listing the house on the market, Jake had the foundation inspected and found out that the foundation needed certain repairs. Most sellers would just leave it as is and let the buyer deal with the repairs after the purchase. Instead, Jake and his team took what was recommended by the foundation inspector and made necessary repairs. Not only did he make the repairs to the foundation, he also repaired the drainage problems or at least he thought he did. After going into contract with my buyers, my clients decided to do a second foundation inspection through the same company as the seller. Although repairs were confirmed to the foundation, the drainage problems were still persistent and needed further repairs. I requested my contractor to give a quote to repair the drainage problems and sent it to Jake not expecting him to make the repairs or expected him to use my contractor. Without any questions asked, he scheduled the appointment with my contractor to get the drainage problem taken care but also asked if my buyer wanted any other repairs on the home, termite and roof inspection. I have never worked with any flippers that was as accommodating as Jake and his team. Most flippers want to do a quick flip and fix, put the home back on the market and try to get the highest and best offer and call it a day.
