I'll try to keep this short and to the point as I can write an essay about the experience at this tint shop. Purchased this as gift for my brother to tint his new Tesla based on the reviews. The experience was not desirable. - Day 1: Brother brought his car in on the weekend (first come first serve) to tint the side windows and the rear - Upon going home, and giving the tint time to cure/dry, he saw blemishes in the passenger/driver front window and rear - Called in to inform the shop manager Chris of the blemishes. He had him come in on a specific day and time for an appointment to address the flaws. They would be addressed by the shop owner Bobby (who is also the person with the most experience tinting) - Day 2: Upon arrival, he was informed that the owner Bobby was not coming in that day. My brother was never contacted about this prior. Chris rescheduled him for another day - Day 3: They re-applied the front side window tint, however informed my brother that they could redo the rear window; however they wouldn't take responsibility if they damaged the rear defroster. Also, they indicated that the blemishes were within reason, and within their capabilities. They could not guarantee the results would be better, the same, or worse. My brother decided to accept the rear "as is" based on the above. I gave one extra star for Bobby making things right for the previous no show. He gave a refund of $50 dollars and a bottle of detail spray, as well as putting a window treatment on the windshield. Note: I want to clarify that Bobby DID offer to redo the rear, but indicated they would not be liable if they damaged the defroster. - Upon the tint curing, there were still blemishes on the passenger window. Called in to schedule another appointment Day 4: They re-applied the tint 2x, as the 1st attempt resulted in a scratch in the tint. - Upon curing, this time it was addressed without flaws. - The last and biggest issue that occurred, was damage caused to the rear deck lid. Brought the car into Tesla as the rear deck lid was bent from the installer, which now exposed the 3rd brake-light to be visible in the car when braking (see picture). The cost to fix this was more expensive than the tint job. My brother didn't want to bother going to back to the tint shop to complain. Please see attached photos. The quality of work is not up to par in my opinion, nor the attention to detail while working in someones car. I had my own Telsa tinted at a shop in San Jose CA, and the tint was flawless the first time around. The workers in this shop need to be trained better IMO. Pros: Owner attempted to make things right Cons: Quality of work. Possibly due to the limits of the installers skills. read more

I inquired about getting my factory tint to a darker tint. They could have just said yes we can do it and made more money, instead they gave me sound advice about the tint. So, to start....they were a decent place to go BUT-- Be forwarded they do not keep their promises....GET IT IN WRITING !!! I had 3 Chevy Spark EV's done the there... Nice job. Fast forward...2 Honda Civic's...both were sub par jobs... Didn't put tiny all the way down back windows. Owner said bring them back and I'll fix it....forward a due to covid-19....He then tells us....Oh no, it's going to be $150 to redo his sloppy work. I will say that my deck lid was not fastened down do to a speaker replacement.... Just needed pushed down to get tabs to lock it in place....He could have called to let me know and I could have come and push it down..... In stead he chose to do a sloppy half job and leave a huge gap of non tinted rear window. Sloppy and not a man of his word !!! read more

Bobby was able to get my new Explorer in right away. He always does a great job on my rides! The way he matches the darkness of the tint is perfect as he goes a little darker on the front side windows as the windshield lets a lot of light in. It was already 11:20 and I was set to drop off my car at 12:00, how convenient! I talked to them on the phone about what I wanted and the money situation, they were reasonable so I immediately head over. I was looking for a shop that could do Window Tinting and Ceramic Coating at the same time. I Found Show Room Auto Tinting on Facebook. I reached out to the shop regarding their products and price for my Tesla. After going back and forth on the product and price, I decided to go with the bundle that includes Ceramic window tint and 5 year ceramic coating package which includes paint correction process for $1500 (5 year protection comes with paint correction). When I picked up the car, I noticed that the shop did not do the paint correction. I inquired about it; the staff told me that since they gave me a discount on the "package deal" they will not do the paint correction. I was NOT informed about this, and they told me they assumed that because I told him the car is new and I don't need paint correction. I have texts to proof. The owner even said will make my car look good and will buff out all the swirls and imperfection on the paint in the morning when I dropped off the car. After everything, the owner said he can't do anything about it now that the ceramic coating is on the car. I notice that there were some bubbles in the back windshield, he said it was film defect and wants me to come back so they could work on it. When I got home, I noticed that there was a 1-inch crease in my front windshield due to the poor craftsmanship. I asked for 3rd party advice, and they said I could ask the shop to minimize the crease. I came to the back to the shop to get my back windshield tint repair. I pointed it out to them the front crease in the front they said there is nothing that they could do. Initially, they said there is a lifetime warranty on the film and craftmanship. They did not honor their warranty in this case. My friend got his windshield done at a different shop and it looks perfect! Tesla Owners, don't waste your time here. read more

The reps were awesome and easy to work with. Additionally, they did an excellent job with the tinting! My only concern is that we had a temporary tag, and they removed it to tint the back window. The tag was not given to us, put in our car, nor placed aside. Our dealer is in Seattle, and it is difficult for us to get up there. They're reasonably priced, and efficient, and masters of their craft. The guy explained each option to us, and let us decide what we wanted, instead of just trying to shove their most expensive products at us. We ended up getting the top of the line one anyway, and it was still very reasonably priced. It only took a couple hours to have done, and when we picked it up, he went over care and maintenance for the next few days while it cured. Plus, there was a sticker over the window switches so you didn't pull an idiot move and roll them down and mess up your tint. Love this place! Just like everyone else is saying, the service is amazing. He really made sure I was confident with what percentage I wanted for my window tints. I drive a 350z and it's my first car so I want it to be perfect. My car is a two door so that might have a reason to why it was so fastly done, but they have a really nice room you can sit and wait in! That have tv so I was chilling the whole time. They've moved to S. Tacoma Way. I'm really disappointed in Show Room's customer service. I made an appointment on 5/16 online with Bobby for 9am Monday, 5/23. I show up and wait until the front desk dude gets there to open the door at 9:04 for at least 3 customers who had been waiting in their cars. I tell him I'm there for my 9am appointment and he says he can't find me and asks if it would be under a different name. I pull my text messages (I've received two text message reminders about it) and read off who my appointment is with. He says, Bobby is really busy so that might be why my appointment isn't in the books. Seems odd since I made the appointment almost a week ago, but whatever. Then he asks what I'm getting done because there is zero information on me in the system (which is frustrating because 1. I booked online; and 2. time is money). I explained I'd made a tint appointment and he asks if I just want the front two windows. I say, no I had planned on talking directly with Bobby about it because I want all the windows done plus my sunroof. He says that Bobby should be in "later today." Mind you, I took the 9am appointment because the estimated appointment time is 2-4 hours. I expected to have my car back around noon or so - not have the guy tinting my windows walk in the door at 12 and let my car sit there all morning. I have the day off. I could've just stayed in bed! Needless to say, I walked out the door and will be using a different tint company. Maybe this situation was a fluke, but you've lost my business. read more

I stopped by because I was going on a road trip down south mid-July and new it was going to be hot. I was given some good information about my options and there was a display to show them to me. I made an appointment, where after another consult on my options, I dropped off the car and came back 4 hours later. The work looked very professional, with no issues so far. I followed their care instructions for the first 5 days. Now I've been gone three weeks in 100+ daily temperatures and I have yet to see a flaw.
