Had Lucent ceramic coat my new SUV. In looking for a shop to do the work, I started with recommendations from dealers I've bought from. Then I got estimates from two places. This shop came in a little lower than the other shop; but I was most impressed with Lucent's knowledge about the various paint protection processes and their willingness to explain them in sufficient detail that I could feel comfortable in making the right selection for me. So I dropped off my new Lexus NX Hybrid SUV to this Autowork and overall, they took great care of my car. The only downside I will say was the communication breakdown. I got done on my vehicle, the PPF full front, Ceramic Coating, and Window tinting on the front two windows (driver and passenger) to MATCH the factory tint on the rear windows. The guy said,"Sure we will do that." So I get my car after three days because understandably, it takes one day to apply the PPF for the full front plus the window tinting, second day to apply the ceramic coating and the ceramic coating will cure overnight to the third day. I get my car with the window tinting NOT MATCHING the rear factory because it needed to be close to "legal." If he couldn't match the front two windows with the rear window, just COMMUNICATE THAT TO ME. I said MATCH. DO NOT TELL ME YOU "TRIED TO MATCH IT" AFTER YOU'VE DONE THE JOB. Like call me picky but just be HONEST with me if you're not able to do the job. If I requested as a customer to do a certain service LET ME KNOW IF you're able to. And with the rest of this review, this is not the Autoworks fault but my new car I picked up from the dealership had already swirl marks on the body (front doors, rear doors, and tailgate). When the PPF was applied to the front (hood, bumper, fender flares), chef's kiss, no swirl marks and even the PPF application was quality. But there are still swirl marks on the body of the car even though that area is suppose to be applied with ceramic coating. I thought that before application of ceramic coating, a car's clear coat paint is suppose to be compounded? But idk, I still need to do more research. So this is not the Autoworks fault, I would just make sure that your brand new car has no swirl marks from the dealership's stupid car wash machine, cough cough, that's you Lexus of Seattle. read more

Just dishonest people. I was charger $1400 for touch up paint on my vehicle and all i got was drops of paint over the areas that needed to be painted. On top of everything i was told that "i get what i pay for" That was very rude and unprofessional considering the amount of money i paid. The only good that came out of this is that i found a place that gets the job done right. I recommend Metal Magic or Recon Revolution for all your detailing and painting needs. read more

I purchased a deluxe interior car detail. The online booking was very simple and quick. The work took 6 hours and the cost was reasonable. My car looked incredible! It smelled great and looked just like when I bought it. The outside looked obviously washed, as well and I didn't even pay for that so that was really nice of them. I brought my Porsche Cayman to Jerry (owner) needing new window tint and a cut/buff due to the previous owner taking it through numerous automatic carwashes. The subcontractor for the tint did a fantastic job...no complaints at all. The cut/buff and paint correction guys also did a fantastic job as well. Together, they were able to make a HUGE improvement in the overall look of the car. If there was one small area of concern, it would be that there was some residue left in the cracks and crevices from the polishing. Not a major issue, just a little annoyance. Mike at the front desk, Jerry himself and another gentleman whose name I didn't get were all a pleasure to do business with. Great price...terrific work...friendly and professional owner/staff. I dropped off my 2017 Subaru, and wasn't sure what to expect, but this car looked like it was brand-new when I got there to pick it up in the afternoon. Plan on leaving your car, which is pretty standard. The inside was completely cleaned, and my cloth seats were shampooed. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere, and the exterior was waxed, polished, and the tires all dressed. I could not have been more pleased. My friend went to go get his car done two hundred dollars later the work looked cheap. It was supposed to be a simple wrap on the inside covering his black plastic but the wrap was peeling at the corners had way to many bubbles in the middle looked like they didn't try to smooth it out. If you are in the military I recommend not go to them they will cheap you out just a bad experience. read more

This business is most amazing! I called with a detailing emergency - five gallons of house paint spilled in the back of an Escalade. Unimaginable mess to say the least. I seen Lucent Auto Works only had one review but, it was a 5 star so I took a shot in the dark and messaged them along with 5 other companies with great reviews. After getting all of the prices together Lucent was competitively priced, even thought they were about $60 cheaper than another place that would only do the interior of my vehicle, I was looking for Quality work not just the cheapest place i could find. I had one burning Question... (I just bought a new vehicle and there was a smell in there that was lingering, I am pregnant and the smell was making me sick)... So I asked each and every place. "Since you charge extra for your odor removal do you guarantee your work?" Every one of the places EXCEPT Lucent responded with, "well we can't guarantee anything like that" "No but we will do our best" "It is impossible to guarantee something like that" ****** Lucent's response was to the line of "Yes, we back up our work, we have had very few and rare cases we were unable to remove the odor. If we can't get the job done, we will work it out with you". I knew this was the place for me, I could tell they were very customer driven. I was able to make an appointment the next day. When I pulled up I was greeted in the parking lot I felt very welcomed and reassured. I learned they had actually been in business for 20+ years but they had only recently opened to the public so that is why they only had one review. They detail a lot of cars for the local car lots and they do auto painting as well. Later that day I received a call saying they had found the smell and uncovered a lot of hidden filth under the seats and truck insert. I agreed to pick my car up the next day to allow them time to get my vehicle very clean for me. When my husband and I arrived, we were met by The owners, they brought out our car, showed us every detail, and even gave us a referral to another local business for an interior auto repair guy. To our surprise there was no up-charge for the hidden mess they had to clean. The price was very reasonable, the business was honest, and the service was fantastic.
