Amazing! Love this gem of a place. Be prepared to spend some cash...a slice of apple pie was $8. BUT, it was amazing. No regrets!

Wow this little gem has pies that are SO worth the price! Best apple pie we ever had! Wish we could take her pot pie or lasagna home with us but it won't make it back to IL. They do have slices of pie too- so you don't have to eat a whole one! When we come back to the mountains we will be getting another pie! Oh they sell till they are out for the day so get there early for the best selection!!

Green Chili Cornbread is the bomb!! I was saying, Wow this is so good over and over again

How is it possible to live in Grand County for 6 years and never have tried Drive By Pie? I've never been much of a pie kind of girl but now I am so glad I went to Sherry's window and ordered the Killer Apple Pie! We ordered it for Thanksgiving along with the Green Chili Cheese Bread and Cinnamon Raisin Bread. She has more than just pie!!!! Try the take and bake meals. Now I stop by Sherry's window every time I am in Granby. We love her breakfast burritos. Keep in mind they are frozen to take home and heat up later. We order the green chili too. My favorite is the green chili cheese bread! I purchased loaves for Christmas gifts too. The Cinnamon Raisin bread makes yummy french toast. Her meatloaf is yummy too. I love the convenience of picking up dinner and not having to cook. Sherry is really friendly and gives a complimentary cookie with our purchase. Bring cash because it is cash only.

First time visiting Colorado and came across this ADORABLE drive thru pie shop!!!!!! You have to call the number to place your order and then they come up to the window to give you your items. We each got a slice of the mixed berry pie and it was absolutely scrumptious!! We also got ourselves a take-and-bake chicken pot pie which was huge!! The woman at the window gave us instructions on how to cook it before we took off, she was super sweet and grateful that we stopped by. I cannot wait to come back to CO and try more pie!

Unbelievable cinnamon bread!! Truly the best I've had. It's yeasty and delicious right out of the toaster with butter. Her Apple Pie isn't overly sweet, which I loved because you can really taste the fruit. Happy I don't live in Grandby because I would absolutely be a regular of hers ... which would make me fat and poor if very very happy.

    Chicken Pot Pie!

Sherry is awesome! Food is unbelievable!!! Have to get the Chicken Pot Pie! We have also tried the Cherry Pie and Mixed Berry Pie - both are equally amazing!

Solid pie. Definitely homemade feel and look to it, which we all loved. Had the killer apple pie. A bit on the expensive side ($30).

It was not too sweet but nothing extraordinary for a matcha latte. Second visit, I ordered the Nutella chimney. I am not into extremely sweet pastries so I asked for easy Nutella spread. Anyway, it was delicious! The cinnamon sugar dough (chimney) was fresh and light! The bakery is small and cute. They hear ice cream and other sweets along with sweet and savory chimneys.

This was a nice surprise for lunch. We did not have any of the specialty beverages or ice cream,…read morejust some chimneys. Overall, a good lunch with a few small issues. I had the turkey chimney and I found it very good. Lots of meat and vegetables. The bread felt very fresh. Though plentiful, the turkey felt a bit basic (compared to the ham). I also sampled the caprese sandwich (which is split open--not a chimney, but the same bread). Once again, the veggies really shown through here. Next time, we would have the basalmic glaze on the side as it was a bit heavy for our tastes and soaked through a bit. The cheese was hearty. There was a slight miscommunication about our two other meals, for kids. One was correct (the PB&J). However, I think they toasted the bread? It was a bit more crunchy than we would have expected instead of soft. This, unfortunately, made it unpalatable for one kid. I thought it tasted good, but the toasting (or stale bread?) wasn't the best choice. The other was supposed to be a ham sandwich, plain. But instead we got a ham, havarti, and egg chimney (which, looking over the receipt, I was charged for). That one is on me for not correcting the order. This change also made it undesirable for kid #2. Upon my trying it, the bread, a chimney, was equally as good. The ham here was better than my turkey. There was a lot of egg. This was not so good if you're my kid, but probably very good if that's the actual sandwich you want. We had a sweet chimney with nutella. It was very good! Seating is very limited. They have a small-ish space next door. The table we were at was broken, but others looked to be in better shape.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful right from the start--especially when my wife was deciding what to order. They even suggested the option of getting a half burrito for half the price, which was a great tip and much appreciated. She went with the Mama's Burrito (with bacon), and I had the Christy Breakfast Burrito. We both had ours smothered in the green chile (pork) sauce--highly recommend. Both were excellent. The chorizo in the Christy was especially well done--full of flavor without being greasy. My wife loved hers, and the half portion ended up being perfect. We also had coconut lattes, which were smooth and really well balanced. Even though you order at the counter, the staff checked in on us several times, which added a nice personal touch. The space is bright and welcoming with lots of natural light. It's in a strip mall, but being on the end gives it a more open feel. The Southwest, slightly kitschy décor fits the vibe well. We noticed a steady stream of regulars and to-go orders, which says a lot. Places don't stay busy--or around this long--without doing things right. If you're anywhere near Granby, this place is absolutely worth a stop.

My husband decided that the pecan roll looked "good," and decided to try it. It was terrible. It was like chewing on rope. As another reviewer said, "this is the worst cinnamon roll I've had in my life." We totally agree. We had hoped that our previous feedback about not letting the dough rise properly might convince them to adjust their recipe, but it didn't. The roll was dense and flavorless. Part of making a yeast bread is letting the dough rise rise and letting the flavor develop. They don't do that. Previous direct feedback was met with pushback, so I'll give it here instead. This was our last time to visit Blue Moon. We'll go get a proper cinnamon roll at Butterhorn or Enza's. I'm so sorry to give this feedback again, but they just don't care. We try to support small businesses here as we live here full time, but they've lost our business for good. And the sad thing is that this single situation has turned us off of anything Blue Moon offers, so we've never even tried anything else. Others have said they like it, but since the cinnamon rolls are so bad, we've don't even come in for anything else.

Best brunch I had in Frisco…read more Butterhorn Bakery and Cafe is the highest-rated brunch spot in Frisco, and based on my experience, I'd agree with the hype. Of the couple of brunch spots I tried in town, this was my favorite. I ordered the Cornucopia with eggs over medium and substituted the home fries for fruit. The fruit was surprisingly good, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas with a light sprinkle of powdered sugar. A side of fruit can be pretty hit or miss when you substitute it at brunch, so I was pleasantly surprised. The eggs were cooked right, and the toast was fine. I opted for turkey bacon, though, and I'd recommend skipping it. It was pretty crispy and lacked much flavor. The standout was the cinnamon roll French toast. We ordered it to share with the table, and I highly recommend doing the same. It comes with two large cinnamon rolls that are soaked in egg batter and grilled French-toast style. It was top tier. I noticed several tables around us sharing the regular cinnamon roll as well, and those looked fantastic too. They also have a bakery counter inside with plenty of grab-and-go options. The pastries all looked great, along with fresh bread, cookies, and other sweet treats. If you're visiting Frisco and looking for brunch, Butterhorn is definitely worth a stop. And whatever you order, I'd make sure the cinnamon roll French toast makes it onto your table.
