We paid $3,000 for a design, of which 50% was supposed to be used as a credit if we went with them. We had sticker shock when we saw their estimate so we got 3 other bids through referrals from friends. The cabinets were 50% more and construction costs were 75% more than other bids for the same work! We obviously chose to go elsewhere but they refused to release the designs, so we basically burned $3,000 and a lot of time only to learn that they were unnecessarily expensive. When I asked them for the designs they became defensive and refused to provide them. During this process, we also ordered a bathroom vanity from them that was 50% more than what we could have purchased locally, but we liked the design and were already working with them so we proceeded. The vanity took a month longer than expected to arrive and was wrong, but at this point we couldn't wait any more because the project had been held up so much. The people we worked with were all nice but their pricing and policies are completely out of touch with the market today. Showcase Kitchens & Bath did a complete remodel on our master bathroom, and did a fantastic job. I'm thrilled with the results! I wouldn't go anywhere else to have work done. I had 3 other estimates before finding Showcase, and even know they are pricey, there were no hidden costs, as I could tell there would be with other companies. Scott West came out and was very thorough at helping me find all the materials and do the design. His integrity and expertise made it go smoothly. We had the ceiling and 2 walls removed, and added an outer wall, it was a huge undertaking. Once all the decisions were made, it was handed over to Steve Love, the project manager, who was amazing! Steve is a perfectionist, and involved in even the tiniest details. He gave me everything I wanted and more. They kept the project clean, and kept me informed at every move. They showed up everyday as promised. We did go over the completion date, but that's because I changed my mind several times, and Steve accommodated me at every level. He walks around with a small flashlight inspecting every inch of the project daily, making sure it's going correctly. Their subcontractors were all professional and highly trained. I highly recommend Showcase Kitchen and Bath, I wouldn't try to save money and just find hidden costs and headaches, these are the guys to go to! read more

Although we were more than 20 feet away and wearing masks while looking at some counter samples and speaking in hushed tones, we were asked by Kimberly to move away due. She obviously did not think we were there to buy and wanted to usher us out blaming Covid. Will never go back nor recommend this place. read more

Showcase Kitchen and Bath recently completed renovating 2 bathrooms in our home in Oak Park, California. We had spoken with several contractors previously, most operating out of a truck and with an iPad as their sole sales tool. They showed us pictures of their work and providing a fixed price quote. Having been through this process before having redone a kitchen in 2008 I realize that pictures don't say it all and cheapest isn't always best (in fact it usually if not always isn't). You can say you're going to redo a bath or a kitchen much the same way you might say you're going to buy a new car. Well, there are Hondas (nothing against Honda) and there are Bentleys. Both are cars. My wife, Denise, and I knew we wanted quality as we had insisted on it in our kitchen. Upon visiting your showroom in Thousand Oaks we met with Michael Hartstein and told him essentially what we were looking for, but knew we had questions that would need answering. Michael took the time to walk us through the process, completing a design, helping us pick out fixtures, stonework and colors. He did say he wouldn't be the cheapest and he wasn't, but there is such a thing as value and with most things, especially your home, you have to go with value. After designing our baths he turned the project over to Steve Love, the project manager. Steve is the most professional project manager I have ever worked with. He knew exactly what needed to be done, made sure his team kept the house as clean as possible, consulted with us every step of the way when there were minor decisions to be made (fortunately there were no major surprises), and scheduled things to move smoothly through the process. Steve showed up virtually daily to examine the previous days progress and making sure the team knew what needed to be done that day. I would check the work at the end of the day and occasionally find things that needed to be addressed, but invariably Steve would find even more! A true perfectionist. In the end the project did take a few days more than originally scheduled, but we'd rather miss a deadline by a few days and make sure things are done right than hurry up in order to meet a schedule. In the end we now have two bathrooms that far and away exceed the expectations we had going in. You hear and read horror stories about construction projects and contractors that go so badly that they end up in lawsuits, bitter feelings and people having to live with and look at lousy workmanship for years to come. I think the proof in the pudding here is that Steve, his wife Marissa, Denise and I are now friends and enjoy each others company on a social level. read more

Showcase Kitchen and Bath renovated our kitchen and family room four years ago in Agoura Hills California. They did a spectacular job. the final result was better than we had imaged. Just recently had two problems. The finish on one of our cabinet doors started to peel. Although the maker claimed it was normal wear and tear, Showcase replaced the panel and absorbed the cost. Also two recessed lights were malfunctioning. Again, showcase fixed the problem immediately and absorbed the cost of repairs. Showcase Kitchens and Baths, along with the contracting services through Showcase Remodeling / Forest Construction, recently completed the renovation of our kitchen in Westlake Village. From the start, their designer Michael Hartstein worked with us to develop a great plan that really improved the functionality and certainly the beauty of our kitchen. Showcase offers a wide range of cabinetry and Michael did a wonderful job of advising us and finding a product with the features, finish and quality that we were looking for. He helped us with the selection and design of every element including the counters, backsplash, appliances and the big farm house sink Linda really wanted. The level of detail in the cabinetry and trim is truly remarkable. Once the design was complete, Michael explained all those details and we signed off on them. Working with our schedule was also important. We wanted to be sure that the construction went smoothly and were in no rush to move out of the old kitchen into our makeshift cooking and cleaning arrangement in a spare bathroom. Working with us, Michael helped us have every crucial decision and purchase in place and a delivery date set so that once the work began there would be no delay. Steve Love was the project manager for Showcase Remodeling / Forest Construction. Steve walked us through every part of out contract and the schedule before starting the work. His estimate and allowances were complete and accurate. But for finding some lead and asbestos that required abatement, the final cost was right on target. (The abatement wasn't really all that much extra since Steve already had the cost of demolition in the contract) Steve was in constant contact and the schedule and work went incredibly well. No waiting for people to show up. Every commitment met. He made sure that our home was secure and as clean as can be expected every day. He brought in skilled and efficient workers for every element of the work. Demolition, framing and drywall, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, countertops, tile and floor refinishing. All excellent tradesmen. They completed the work in ten weeks just as promised. If we had any questions, observations or concerns, Steve was available almost immediately via phone, text or email. Although we couldn't always be there to answer questions, our communications were quite seamless and exchanging pictures or leaving notes and markups for each other kept things moving. Steve's experience is most evident in the way that he looks forward and knows what to expect before it could become a problem. This review probably sounds like a broken record if you have read any of the others but it is true. Showcase really knows their business and they strive to make the customer happy. We have had a great, collaborative relationship and could not be happier with the end product. Know too that this all comes at a price. Quality and a commitment to excellent service was as important to us as it was to them and we were willing to be as good a partner with them as they were with us. It's something like a marriage, and this has been a happy one. read more

sales person/designer was pleasant to deal with however the owner/management of this company made it a terrible experience. they gave my contractor incorrect measurements and we had to pay to open a new ceiling and move lights. The said we would be reimbursed for this but that never happened. When the cabinets arrived some were the incorrect color. This greatly delayed our project. The end result in terms of design and quality was great. The owner of this company needs an attitude adjustment to fit the high end product and their clientele that is paying for design, product and service. I would recommend do your homework, there is generally more than one showroom that can offer a name brand in a geographic area. read more
