Even though they were very busy, they still squeezed me in and fixed my car up within an hour or so. Very thankful that they found the time to help me out. Nelson's seems great at first, but then problems come up from their prior fixes. Our window broke 4…read moretimes because they used cheap parts then made us pay to use a genuine factory part. The final straw is we had a coolant problem about a year ago they fixed. Recently the coolant has been leaking and our new mechanic found Nelson's didnt even tighten one of the hose connectors and once again used the incorrect connector that could actually damage the hoses as they expand when the engine heats up. I thought Nelson's was top tier, but the multiple follow-up repairs make it not worth it to go here anymore. Its unfortunate because they are great about fixing their mistakes... but with how much they charge there shouldnt be mistakes like this. This last small mistake could have blown up the engine. I cant in good conscience recommend going here.

I've left numerous phone calls, voicemails, texts, anything thing to get ahold of this guy only to call him once with a new number and he picked the phone up. He keeps giving excuses such as "The inspection is done. Let me call you Monday or Tuesday after I've assembled an estimate" *two weeks after the first excuse* "It's a lengthy estimate, let me call you by the end of today or tomorrow." As I've said, he does not value your time. He charges $95/hour to keep your vehicle in the shop for an undisclosed amount of time while he appraises your vehicle unconventionally, then dodges your phone calls to make more time for "contract work" DO NOT COME HERE. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

We walked out to the car and I told him that the person I spoke with they said it had a trailer hitch. We looked and it did not have the trailer hitch. I said I need a trailer hitch and all he said was I guess you're not buying the car. Nelson could care less about selling me a car and there were other people waiting at the dealership. Very disappointed in the dealership and beware of Nelson, he could care less.

I didn't really think anything of it- couldn't be my new car that's been inspected? By Sunday I had 4 lights on my dash including the check engine light. WHY would a vehicle that has been inspected have a horrible gas smell, and a bunch of lights come on? I drove it ONCE since getting it(not even 30 miles) When I called Dicks to let them know of my issues, I was told "well we inspected it and drove 200 miles to deliver it and it was just fine." Absolutely ridiculous. So it's not their problem that issues are arising now. I trusted this dealer to give me a RELIABLE vehicle as they state it's been looked over by mechanics. I clearly have a gas leak. The mechanics either don't care about their job or they're just not doing thorough inspections like they say they are. I've already spent $500 fixing the issue on my NEW vehicle that I drove once. Once they get their payout- they're going to treat you rudely and like it's everyone else's fault but theirs. NOT a trustworthy dealer!!!

He did not give me a quote or pro-rated price, but aggressively told me that the tires were overinflated and that's why they were getting bald. I always get my tires and repairs at Walmart. Mason told me that he could not account for the incompetent workers at the other stores and that the store was not considering pro-rating my tires. I asked for the manager, Dale, multiple times and he was either at lunch, or just not available. I could not get a manager to help me in this situation.
