First people there are poorly informed on a lot of stuff NO real professionalism any where. But there is a place right up the road Key's diesel they DO warranty work and insurance work so if you just want a pro job don't the Right way the first time without the hassle of the dealer go there. 4/19/17 Instead of a polite phonecall from someone other than a creeper sales guy Scott offline messaging me demanding me to remove my review today it results to this. Did Fowlerville Ford take back the truck yes, were we lied to in the beginning YES, was it a 100% hassle to get out of it and into another one? YES, Was FF honest NO, Did we have an option to go anywhere else? No because we would have to trade it in as a used vehicle with a blown motor so you had us grabbed by the rear end so Scott spare us all the Marter. You don't thrive on Customer Service. Second you have nothing to do with this deal you are NOT the owner, the Sales guy nor the business associate, so clearly were do you stand? Just a creeper as you were when we walked in so.. with this being said I will not remove nothing and I will replace everything I had before and all video etc will now all go back on proving all the lies Fowlerville Ford does. Great day BUYER BEWARE**** After the issue of being called a liar basically by the owner we now have the issue of lies, lies and more lies from this dealership. I would refrain from buying from here. Reason being. We were told by the owner and sales that our 2016 F350 was a demo that was being driven by the owner. We purchase this truck with this being told to us. Bought it Sept 3. Sept 26 truck went to dealership with a diesel leak from the engine. Sept 29 picked it up "completed" (same day as the owner wanted to talk to me about my yelp comments). Oct 10 truck was now leaking diesel AgAIN but at a much faster rate. Took it to Brighton Ford since Fowlerville couldn't get me in and thank god we did. This truck was previously OWNED, this is now the 3rd time the truck had a problem and a new short block was Replaced by Fowlerville Ford on April 16, 2016. All of this is documented in the Ford system so it can't be hid. Also, the truck had wiring issues as well. If we would have known ANY of this we would not have bought it. Now, there is the issue that Ford has to tear down the engine AgAIN... are you kidding me? Fowlerville Ford is shady, lies and no good. I do have Ford involved, and as of yesterday the BBB Auto involved. We never should have been lied to nor deceived about a new truck. People this is not an old vehicle this is a 2016.. and the owner, aka Fowlerville Ford has not a blink of an eye to sell us a piece of crap and knowing all the issues etc. lies lies and more lies from here. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. I am in the process of contacting channel 7 and an attorney for this poor business transaction. Since I only get one set of stars I will rate a 3. First, our salesman Tom was awesome. You couldn't get a more down to earth man. Not pushy, listen to the needs/wants, provided suggestions and was truly what you would love in a sales guy. Finance dept was awesome as well. Couldn't complain there .... After signing the paperwork and leaving I text Tom because we only received one set of keys to our 2016 F350. Tom acknowledged and said he had them on his desk and we would pick them up upon return from vacation. Fast forward.. Arrive at dealership last week to have Tom stating the key was right on his desk and now it is gone ( now mind you I truly believe this guy ). He is searching everywhere then the owner says "What's up buddy what are you looking for" he explains our keys .. Verbatum.. "I handed them both sets I know I did" .. Tom began to explain that there was no way he did cause they have been at his desk... After round and round and round .. There has been no resolution to the lost set of keys to our truck. On Monday morning we had to take our truck to service because diesel is leaking off the motor (yes, you read correctly it is a 2016 ). We went in and talked to Tom and still the owner is swearing that he gave us the two sets. I am not sure how to get the keys but also WHO HAS OUR KEYS? Hopefully by the time our truck gets picked up tomorrow it will be resolved otherwise off to calling the glasshouse or an attorney .. The owner doesn't care about customer service that is for sure. Too bad Tom didn't work at a different Ford dealer .. We would go there for that reason. read more

I've never been to a car dealership so this might be how they all are, but I had my down payment and was ready to buy when I walked in today. Our salesman was EXTREMELY rude and dismissive and kept walking away. We expected some amount of haggling but after waiting in the sun for him to come back out we went in and he was eating lunch. He didn't try to work out financing, didn't try to offer us another car, was just incredibly dismissive and rude. Went back and talked to the owner who did try to make things better, but honestly I would just rather go somewhere else. Being a rude dick to the customer might be how people bought cars in the 80s but as a millennial if I'm gonna be dropping 10 grand on a car I at least want you to be nice to me. Someone at Wendy's wouldn't treat you that poorly, why should someone at a car dealership? read more

This dealership sent out a scam mailer. The mailer said I won $5000 cash. No purchase necessary. When I went to the dealership the salesman said "now this confuses a lot of people" and went on to say I had joy won. It specifically said if you see 3 of a certain symbol in a row you won the corresponding prize. I would never do business with this dealership because of this. read more

Bought a used Ford Focus from them (2012 focus) and they said nothing about the horrible transmission issues for this year car. Bought it in 2014 with only 30,000 miles. Well after that I got recall letters in the mail to take it to the dealership for transmission issues so I did a couple of times to adjust the issue. NOW I'm paying over $2000 for repairs because my car is now over 150,000 miles and my transmission is fucked, do not trust them...it's all about money, sorry I had to post this but I am pissed!! read more

If I could give this dealership a negative 5, that would be too high. As an out of town buyer, I wish to find out as much information as I can about a car I am interested in purchasing. I had called the salesman, Frank, twice to send me a few pictures which he initially promised ...no response. I sent a message through their website, asking the same, addressing the inquiry to another salesman,Bill..no response. I called the office manager, Angie, and left a message explaining to her my frustration with being unable to obtain some basic information...no response. Finally, I was able to reach Angie, and she immediately transferred me to the owner, Ken, explaining to him that I had been trying to obtain some basic information, including some pictures. He asked me what I needed, and I informed him that, as an out of town buyer, I would like to get some pictures of items of concern on the vehicle that were not clearly shown on their website. He immediately became argumentative (aka--"rude" by my estimation) by telling me that he wasn't going to do that (take more pictures), that he felt he had enough pictures on their website, and that it was a nice car for the money...nothing was wrong with it. Now, I have worked in a retail venue with daily customer contact for 38 years, so I deem myself a good judge of what excellent customer service is all about. At least in my case, this dealership fell far short of any expectations that would be normally associated with wanting a customer to feel that they, as well as their business, had any modicum of importance to them. If you read some of the other internet reviews, this seems to be a common thread, ranging from not returning calls to not permitting customers to test drive their vehicles without a promise of purchase. The office manager, Angie, is noted having to apologize and cover for the lousy customer service, with the same issues that caused a complaint being repeated over and over, without being corrected. I honestly do not know how this operation stays in business. I have been purchasing vehicles for many years from out of town dealers, and have never run into anything like this. My husband followed up with a call to the salesman and asked for a lesser price. Salesman in turn said he'd check with the owner and get back to us. Went back the next day and she picked a different one and they said only way to test drive the next one she had to do a purchase application before she could test drive it. Bought a non Ford used car last fall from them. I did a lot of research on this particular model that we wanted. This car turned out to be fantastic. The price was the best by far. end of story, not really. My experience with Fowlerville Ford started off great and ended up being a total NIGHTMARE! Through a mutual friend, I was put in touch with the owner of Fowlerville Ford. He had me work with a sales associate and I didn't end up speaking with the owner again for two months. In those two months, I ordered a Ford Explorer to lease. The car was supposed to arrive within a couple of weeks and they offered me a loaner car to drive in the meantime, with no strings attached. The Explorer didn't end up arriving for two months! In those two months, Fowlerville never called with updates on arrival dates, I had to keep calling them. In the meantime, the dealership plates on the loaner vehicle expired and I tried to call Fowlerville numerous times to get them replaced without any success. I was even pulled over for having expired plates, so I was nervous about driving the loaner car after that. When the Explorer did arrive, the price was $46 per month more than we had agreed upon! I couldn't justify this increase in cost for a leased vehicle and decided against leasing it. I tried to contact my sales associate for one full week via numerous texts and phone messages to get my first months payment and fees refunded and to try and negotiate a payment for the loaner car since I had driven it for two months. But, she didn't return a single call or text message. Finally, I called the owner of Fowlerville and he became irrate on the phone with me and refused to negotiate payment for the loaner. I emailed him after the phone call, again requesting refund of my payment and offering payment for the loaner vehicle and receving no response to the email. I ended up having my credit card reverse the charges for the Explorer. After a month, I received a summons to appear in small claims court: Fowlerville was suing me for $1000! In court the owner of the dealership told numerous lies, stating that he spoke to me throughout the entire two months and stating that I had requested extra options on the Explorer which caused the increase in price. All of this was a lie: I didn't ever even talk to the guy and I never said any of this to his sales associate. I had phone records proving that I never spoke to the owner but the judge refused to look at my evidence, including my email to the owner, or hear my entire side of the story, and even ignored the mileage log stating that I drove the loaner car less than the 3000 miles that the owner claimed I put on the car! The owner proceeded to call me names and yell at me in court, I was so embarassed! Fowlerville Ford will do anything...EVEN LIE UNDER OATH to get what they want...DO NOT TRUST THEM! read more

I went up to Fowlerville ford with my son to purchase his first vehicle on 4-14-17, upon arrival we were approached by a salesman, Scott Pratt. After looking at a few vehicles we ask if we could see the inside of the car, he went inside to get the keys and opened it up for us. After looking at it for a while we ask to take it for a test drive and his response was "are you going to buy it", I informed him that it would depend on the test drive, and his response was we couldn't drive it unless we committed to buying the vehicle first. We left, went to Bob Maxey in Howell and he purchased a very nice 2015 Ford Fusion from Steve Azar in used cars, AFTER HE GAVE HIM THE VEHICLE FOR THE WEEKEND TO TEST DRIVE IT. This dealership was a great experience unlike Fowlerville ford !!! read more
