Her bass player is amazing! He sounds like Brad Paisley! I have no musical talent so it really moved me how well he played the bass. The other artists played well too! The venue is fantastic. It was my first time here. Sportsman's Tavern bought the venue three or four years ago. It isn't a dive bar like Sportsman's Tavern though. It's much more intimate. It's classier too. I liked the way they had the tables set up. I loved the stage area too. There is a small bar area where you can order drinks. There was also a waitress coming around asking if we wanted drinks or food. They have a small menu, and the food sounded good, but I wasn't hungry. You can park on the street or in their small parking lot, which holds about 25/30 spots. You'll enter the venue via a dark door near the front parking spot. There is much more room inside, than how it looks from their lot. The lot was a bit hard to find. I ended up driving around the block and then I noticed it. I'd love to come back here and see another concert soon!

By 8:30 the crowd was packed at the bar and there almost wasn't enough room to even stand (maybe it's not normally that busy?) - bathrooms were clean and spacious - staff were all friendly - i recommend buying your ticket online ahead of time. I had to go early to buy one at the door (when I called at 7, they said they expected it to sell out before 8) - it looks a little odd from the outside, but The Cave is definitely a cool spot to stop at if you like live music!

We parked right across from the venue. The venue is located in a refurbished church and the highlight for me was seeing all the fixtures including pews and glass stained windows still in tact. There is a floor standing room area you can watch the music, as well as two elevated seating areas. The seats were pews and very roomy. It was nice to be able to sit and enjoy the show free from the crowds. The sound quality was mostly good but at times I found it was very loud and hard to hear what the musician was saying. Didn't get any drinks or use the bathroom, so I can't comment on this aspect. Overall, I thought this was a great venue.

My estimate is a capacity of 400-500 chairs, in rows of 14 the floor, plus the balcony. I was there to see Judy Collins, who still has a wonderful voice. (She is 87). A friend asked why she was not performing in the Mary Seton room at Kleinhans Music Hall. I think the acoustics are better here, as are the slightly padded chairs. It is certainly more intimate.

I was a little wary about the immediate surrounding area, since the streets immediately around the venue were cobblestone. This made it kind of hard to walk, when it wasn't super well lit. I was also confused by the parking arrangement in the area, since it seemed like the garage had some access restriction and the parking around the backside of the building also had confusing signage. This is not a criticism of the business whatsoever, just an important note for the other aspects of your visit.

We attended an event called Blue Monday with Jack Civiletto (Chicago Jack) leading the group. Each week has a guest singer. This week it was Rod Nickson. This was followed by an open blues jam session where other local blues musicians are welcome to join in. Reserved seating is recommended with other tables available depending on the crowd. We come to listen to the best of the best of Western New York's Blues performers, most of which are in the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame. Our latest visit here was for the 2022 Lafayette Tap Room Reunion party. Anyone that remembers the Tap Room at the Lafayette Hotel on Washington St should remember how Blues nights packed the house. This reunion was the same. Packed with musicians taking turns on stage and music fans filling the venue. There is always a reasonably priced food menu and a fair priced bar. Great concert venue…read more We arrived shortly after doors for Lights last night and easily secured a great spot behind the railing of yhe first elevated tier. The set up is the ground surrounded by a few higher tiers so there's not a bad spot in the building. My husband had no problems coming and going for drinks, which were inexpensive, especially for a concert venue. Great sound and screens on either side but you should have a good view even in the back. Great service, too.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that when I went to use the restroom there was an attendant there with a table full of basic necessities. I've traveled a lot and I've seen this type of service before but I was surprised to see it at Town Ballroom (in the best way possible). It's a nice touch especially when there's a million things you forget when you go out to the bar and don't want to have to carry a million things. Overall it was a great night. There weren't a ton of people there so it getting drinks at the bar was easy. The bar out front is great and the drinks are always on point. It's really cool the way they have giant pictures of a lot of the artists that have performed there over the years. The bar in the back is ok. The bartender seemed annoyed and was damn near inconvenienced by us standing at the bar but I just ignored his ass and enjoyed my night. It was a great night and I look forward to more shows.
