Apparently we don't have to visit Pandora for the best beer cheese (some of the best yet cheapest food at WDW is found at Pandora...it's weird). Anyway, beer cheese at most places is pretty underwhelming, but here it's transcendent. The food's great, too - good thing because you need something to dip in beer cheese. My husband and I had big lunches earlier in the day but decided to share a burger and sidewinder fries after attending an art reception at Revolution Gallery and stopping by the Merry Shelley across the street from The Garage. We had their specialty burger, cooked perfectly medium rare to order. The fries were amazing, too. Normally I don't like thicker fries but these were so velvety and yummy, especially dipped in the beer cheese. Drinks and service are great, too. My partner and I tried this place for dinner on a random week night. We ordered drinks from the holiday cocktail menu and the Spiced Pear Margarita was lovely. The service was great and our waitress was friendly. First things first: street parking only, and they do have a few high chairs. They are the only restaurant I've ever seen that offers a kids brunch plate with a generous helping of home fries, eggs and toast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space is literally a garage turned restaurant so it's dark and cement everywhere but the space is open and the staff is very welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We got the supreme waffle, kids brunch plate and sausage gravy and biscuit. We had a really nice first visit here. It's a bit of a wait on a Sunday morning/early afternoon, to be expected. My fiance got the Boys Waffle with home fries, and I got the chicken and waffles. We also got a cinnamon bun. I found the waffles and bun to be large for sure, but otherwise a bit dry and basic. We definitely liked her waffle choice better. The chicken is good, just different with the italian-style breading.The only complaint really is that we received our orders and then were never checked on by our server again until we got our check, so we didnt order anything else. Fun spot to do breakfast / brunch. They do get very busy on weekends, so be ready to wait and / or for some popular items to be sold out (cinnamon buns) unless you arrive early. We had to go a few times before we were able to give the cinnamon buns a try! Service is solid. They have plenty of staff so there isn't much wait to get your order in if you're ready. Seating is spaced well and they have a mix of regular tables, table / booth blends, and bar seating. There is an outdoor area as well if the weather is nice. The parking is street / parallel parking, so be ready for that when you come, and I would recommend taking the first space you see that's walkable. Overall: A Good eats, solid service, get the cinnamon buns if they aren't sold out for the day! read more

I just love this place! Something different with such a cute interior. Their menu is extensive and has something for everyone! Finally got my hands on one of the homemade cinnamon buns and it was divine. I love fruit on my meals and the Buick was a delicious turkey panini with cranberry mayo, and they accommodated my request for extra cranberries on top too. Came here on a whim when the original place we wanted to go was unexpectedly closed. Saw some great reviews on Yelp so we decided to check it out on a Friday night. There was a great band playing when we arrived. We bypassed the seating by the band because it was pretty loud, but we were still able to hear them perfectly on the large back patio area. I had the Ferrari sandwich and it was excellent. The chicken cutlet was fried perfectly and the bread was on point. My partner ordered the chicken fingers and they were HUGE. Would definitely order both things again, but there were several other options on the menu we'd like to try. The fries were also incredible! I've never seen fries like this (cross between steak fries and seasoned curly fries). I've really enjoyed this place on every visit I'm surprised I never did a review! So far I've tried the reuben the meatball sub and now today I had the meatloaf sangwich and it was sooo good. This place has a great ambiance lots of open seating and has an expansive bar and large tvs for sporting events or just to hang out. New to me is their patio space which makes for even more outdoor seating in the nice weather and a covered patio which is a nice touch! Staff are always very friendly and attentive and there is plenty of street parking available nearby or a short walk away. Oh and also those cinnamon rolls are crazy good! I wish I could order one any time but they're only availability is the weekend with brunch so don't miss out! read more

Keeping my review at 4 stars. Really is 3.5, but the customer service was excellent so I'll bump it up. I want to like this place, if for no other reason than their cinnamon rolls. But it's confusing to me. How is the Hungry Man $13.99 and a breakfast wrap is $13.49 to have meat inside, but WITHOUT any breakfast potatoes on the side?! I know there are some in it, but $17 for a wrap and potatoes? Yikes. The potatoes are good and can't really be tasted in the wrap; I'd rather have them on the side. I didn't think their breakfast menu was anything special or unique. My friend let me try her French toast casserole (part of the Hungry Man) and that was pretty good. I wasn't feeling a deconstructed dish, but it was a much better value than my breakfast wrap. The vibe is cool, sounds like they have pretty good events too. The cinnamon rolls are a lot at $6.50 and I have had better, but only at one specific place not in Buffalo. They are shareable, but even better would be to get one for yourself and bring home leftovers to warm up later. They sell out so try to come early (we ordered ours when we first sat down so they wouldn't be gone by the time we were done). As noted, the customer service was excellent. Our server was friendly, checked in the perfect amount, and kept our waters filled. Not sure I'll try again except to get a cinnamon roll, or maybe for some live music. read more

I visited on a Saturday morning around 10:30 with a bridal party of 7. We were promptly greeted and shown to a table. This was in August, so the garage doors were open letting the fresh air and warmth in. The whole reason I picked this place for us to go was the cinnamon bun and it did not disappoint! It was warm, oo-gooey, cinnamony and delicious!!! I also got an Irish coffee to go with my bun and, ooo-eee, it'll put hair on your chest! Pretty much all I could taste was whiskey, which was a bit much for me... Especially that early in the morning; but, if you like a strong drink, go for it! Stopped here for brunch before a hockey game, what a great option. Just the right amount of spice in the Bloody Mary for a Saturday AM. Went with the eggs Benedict and subbed in sausage for a little twist on this classic, eggs were cooked perfect with just the right amount of runniness, yep that's a word. I have integrity and would never do such a think. It was a bottle of tequila with a spout on it for shots. The bartender herself saw them go into 2 of the 4 shot glasses, tossed the shots, and poured from a new bottle. I will have a wonderful day, knowing my attitude is the opposite reflection of that of YOU and your rude bartender. Very embarrassing and immature of you as a business owner to respond to my experience that way. Came for brunch with a friend, her first time for brunch & my first time ever. I was surprised to arrive at 10:30 & not see a line out the door. When I walked in, the smell of cinnamon rolls was enticing. My friend was already waiting for me. The server was kind enough to bring a carafe to fill my insulated mug with coffee but I was surprised yet again to see water and juice served in plastic to-go cups with plastic straws instead of reusable vessels. My friend ordered the brunch plate and I ordered an omelet. I asked for a few extras (caramelized onions & peppers) and a swap of feta cheese instead of cheddar. The onions could have been more caramelized and the omelet arrived with cheddar cheese instead of feta. We had also asked that my friend get my side of home fries since the server informed her that her brunch plate did not come with home fries... much to our chagrin, we ended up with 2 orders of home fries because her food *did* come with them. I was taking a stroll down Hertel and decided to stop in. I've been meaning to come here for a while, and now after seeing the menu I feel like I have to come back. It was a chilly day so I decided to try their Tom and Jerry cocktail. These are very hard to come by so I was excited to see it in the menu. They make their own eggnog for it and the flavor is soooo good. Very booze forward so I had to grab some fries lol. The fries came out super fast. They were good and there was a lot. The place itself is big. The staff was very nice. There's a full bar and they had a nice holiday cocktail menu. The bartender said they switch up the cocktail menu throughout the seasons.
