They help me locate exactly what I'm looking for. My fiancé recently did a exchange here and they were very accomodating. He actually ended up buying some shoes and a extra shirt. They have really awesome merchandise and skating gear. For a more detailed personal experience I would highly suggest coming here for your skate needs or just a dope pair of sneakers. I went into the office and told them, that not only is the machine not working, but that there's RAT running around in there. They wouldn't pay me back, but they said they would place an OUT OF ORDER SIGN ON IT. They never did in the remaining two hours we were there. I'm guessing it's free money. We took our daughter here recently to get some wiggles out and just enjoy learning a new skill. She's only been skating a few times around our neighborhood and we thought that this would be an immersive way to get her into the hobby. Definitely check out their calendar of events and when they have good offers and deals. You're likely to score a cheaper price than regular pricing if you pay attention. They also have themed nights and exclusive school nights. You can bring your own skates but you'll need to make sure that they pass the skate check. They do have some limitations on skates you bring in to ensure that their floors don't get torn up. As a side note you'll also want to make sure you bring in identification for all adults, and leave any food or drinks that come from outside in your car. Learned both of these the hard way. They have a smaller child skating area that helps them learn before they get out onto the bigger floor. Our daughter enjoyed this so that she had a little bit of time to learn before being thrown into a large space. We did have her try out the large space after about an hour of practice. They also have a limited number of arcade games, a small cafe, and a birthday party room. Overall: A Well it is a bit dated and could use some upgrades, it brings with it all the nostalgia of my childhood so it was still a win. I would definitely come back for a visit but try again on a non weekend day when the pricing is a little bit lower.

So imagine my delight when I found out there was one down the street from my job. I was looking for weights, dumbells to be specific. I didn't want to pay full price. I remembered that PIAS had dumbbells back in the day. I called and a nice gentleman, Mike, told me they were open and they had weights. I came in around 6:30pm. They were assisting another customer so I waited patiently with my mask on. More about that later. I inquired why one set of dumbbells were more than others(not weight related). Mike said the insulated black weights are commercial grade and the iron ones are not. The iron weights are at or around $1.45 a pound and the commercials grade is $2.00 a pound. Great information and it allowed me to make an informed decision. I bought a pair of 15# & 25#. There on signs on the weights that clearly show the prices. After Mike rang up the sale, as a courtesy he carted the product to my SUV and put them in the way back. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they weren't wearing masks and didn't require masks. They did have a sign outside saying they clean thoroughly and recommended we practice safe distancing. Other than that they have great selections for baseball, cleats. Golf and workout equipment. I will be back. You can sell your unused sports equipment to them. Just call ahead first before you lug it out of storage.
