I've been coming here regularly for full sets, but my last two visits were disappointing. Both of the last two times I had to get full sets, the nails didn't even last. They started lifting and falling off within 8-10 days, even after paying $130 with designs. I didn't even make it to a fill. I know the salon can do great work because I've had sets last 3+ weeks before, but the quality seems inconsistent depending on the technician. I'm not rough on my nails, so they shouldn't be lifting/falling off this quickly. I hope to see more consistency, because when it's done right, the results are great. read more

I came by to treat my daughter and her friend to a mani-pedi. This place is fantastic! It's located right by the Almaden shopping plaza, so it's a pretty ideal location. Parking can be a little tricky, but not too terrible on a Friday afternoon. Make sure you call ahead since this place is pretty popular. They have a ton of massage chairs, and I was able to sit in one while I waited for my daughter and her friend to get their nails done. Those massage chairs are amazing! They do have two adorable hello Kitty chairs for little ones that want to get their nails done. The Hello Kitty chairs obviously are not massage chairs, but they are adorable! This place is pretty pricey, especially since the massage doesn't take too long at all, but it was a fun treat for my kiddo and her friend. They charge an extra $10 for design, which I feel is a bit outrageous for a child design, but like I said, this doesn't happen very often. My daughter ended up getting a hello Kitty design, which she absolutely loved. Great place to get pampered, but not sure if I would make this my go-to spot due to the price point. They do accept Apple Pay, which is great, but all tips are cash only, which is a bit annoying because who actually has cash these days? read more

The workers here are always very accommodating and provide the best service every time. I got the gel manicure and it turned out absolutely beautiful! My nail artist, Ada was very kind and quick with my nails. She helped me decide on a color and even let me test both colors on my nails. I've been coming to this nail salon for almost a year now - Kristin does my pedicures & Nhi does my nails. I truly cannot recommend this salon enough - I always walk out BEYOND pleased with the results. The salon itself is clean & welcoming with massage chairs that I adore :-) Nhi is an absolute artist - she has immaculate attention to detail & there's truly no design that she can't nail (pun intended ). She somehow makes my hands look even better than the Pinterest inspo pic. She's so delicate, precise, & a true professional. Kristin is also a treasure! I suffer terribly from ingrown toenails & Kristin is the only pedicures who can get them out without causing me severe pain. She treats my feet with so much TLC & is also a perfectionist. Love this place! I usually get the basic mani and pedi but once in a while I do the upgraded devices. I am never disappointed! They always do exactly what I request and the quality of work is way above other nail salons. They are friendly and very chill. The salon is typically busy, but they never rush. I've been coming here for a long time, but it's time for me to switch. Lately, every visit has felt rushed, like the priority is to finish quickly rather than make sure clients feel comfortable. I usually go to a salon to relax, but I often leave here feeling rushed and stressed instead. During my last appointment with Hana, I asked a few questions about builder gel because I wasn't familiar with the differences between that, acrylic, or Gel-X. Instead of feeling guided, I felt like my questions were an inconvenience to her. When I asked for clarification, I was met with a frustration and condescended, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. I even had to pause and gently ask, "Are you okay?" because the energy felt so unwelcoming. Customers should never feel rushed or condescended to when they're simply trying to understand their options. It's disappointing because I used to enjoy coming here, but the environment just doesn't feel relaxed or customer-friendly anymore. read more

Wonderful staff and walk in are easily able to get serviced. I've been here a couple times and every time the experience has been great. Price is reasonable and add on are asked and explained throughout the service. The salon is very neat and clean. All products are sanitized and properly stored for every new client. Beyond Candy, every nail tech here is extremely talented, and you can truly feel it throughout the salon. This is such a fun place to be, there's always laughter, smiles, and good vibes all around. The place itself is extremely clean and all the techs are so nice. Emmy did a great job and in general I'm super happy with how the nails turned out. However within 3 days of getting my nails done I had 2 fractures, one completely broke off after 5 days. I paid $70 for this set, they're supposed to hold at least 2.5 weeks. This is so disappointing.
