I've been coming to this nail salon since I was in high school and have always had such a great experience here. No matter who I go to, I've never had an issue with any of the staff and my nails always come out incredible. Everyone is very meticulous with their work, and my nails last such a long time without breaking, which is one of the main reasons I continue coming back. This time I wanted an ombré design and they used a spray painting tool to create it, which I thought was so fun! I had never had my nails done that way before and I loved watching the process. The design came out beautiful and exactly how I wanted it. I also bring my daughter here to get her nails done and she loves sitting in their little Hello Kitty princess chair. It makes the experience so much more fun for her and she gets so excited every time she gets to sit in it. I've been coming here for so many years now and have never questioned the quality of their work. I always leave happy with my nails and will definitely continue coming back! read more

Crystal did an excellent job with my nails. This was my first time here, very BUSY, but I was taken care of right away, with an appointment. Crystal was very dedicated to her job, she asked me if I liked the shape, colors etc etc. Will definitely be coming back, thank you Crystal for making my experience welcoming! Nina did my pedicure! Mimi is the best! No one does a pedicure like she does. She pays attention to every little detail, cleans everything so carefully, and is always so gentle--I never leave with any pain or cuts. Have not gotten a set since because I wanted to let my nail beds HEAL all my fingers had noticeable rings of fire from how thin they filed my nail beds... here we are now I have lost the thin remnants of my nail beds off of 2 ! I wouldn't call this a perfect 10. I think the staff are very friendly; however, the nail technician that I was paired with was really rough with the nail filing and my middle finger under the skin was cut. I got nicked. It took 2-3 days to heal but it stung after I came home. I wish she was more gentle. Usually the nail salon I go to finishes filing and shaping before they apply color. Here they apply the color before filing and shaping. I'm left with no color on the sides of my nail and there was no means to swipe the color back onto the sides after the finished the final filing and shaping. I requested an ombré style nail look and the technician had some difficulty spraying the color onto the nail. I think the air sprayer wasn't working so she had to switch to a new device; however, the application didn't turn out so clean. You can see the mirco dots/ bubble in the middle of the nail. I wish she could have used a sponge to dab the color onto the nail instead of using the air brush sprayer. Sometimes simple tools work better than using the electric ones. The application would have came out cleaner and there would have been more control. Also I noticed nobody uses a nail dust collector so I was a bit concerned with all the nail dust flying around. I didn't have a mask so I had to turn my head the other way around so I wouldn't inhale it. For those reasons I can't give this a perfect 10. read more

They are rushing to do nails that it's not quality. You can tell them what length you want and they do what THEY want this was not medium length. The manager arguing with me in front of everyone - to tell her next time- I DID. They applied hard force on me and not giving me time to see them and even then I did tell her medium. The girl FILED them how she wanted and shaped them even shorter. THATS the problem here. It looks like nails for a 11 year old girl not a 30's year old woman. Reminds me of GUM pieces . large is medium and medium is small here in size . My friends nails also very crooked on the pedicure. They did all square and one oval for her pedicure it looks bad. For the prices do not come here. I'm disgusted with my set and the manager gaslighting and arguing . When asking for jade she said the lightening here is bad and didn't bother Instead of offering to do it. Avoid at all cost! The woman here are overworked and it shows! They can careless about quality it's just as many people as management can get into the door disgusting. I have a special event to go to and I'm disgusted with my nails and what was spent for nails that look WORSE than press on. They will always message you to come back to fix them waste more hours to remove your review and leave a positive review. My mistake was giving this place another chance ! Had a really great experience here! This was my first time at this salon, and it was great. I walked in, requesting a full set and pedicure on a Saturday evening, not expecting them to have any opening. But they instantly found me a spot, and the manicurist and pedicurist (Rose) both started working. Both of them were very nice and asked me continuously if I liked their work. They both did a great job, and took my inspo pictures exactly how I wanted. Great work with a good price! Definitely recommend this spot! read more

Pretty mid, but staff here is pretty friendly and you'll get in and out quickly so that's why i come. Not the most relaxing and quiet salon but not the worse. Nail techs are hit or miss i usually come for a pedicure and the work is fine, passable for what i need so no complaints really. When i ask for acrylic on my big toe sometimes it's too thick, but if i let them know they fix it right away to how i like it so I appreciate that. Today i did get a full set, tips with acrylic instead of gel cause i don't like how gel x feels when it's grown out .. service was fast but not the most comfortable since i was in the pedicure chair. At one point the nail tech glued on the tip to one of my ring fingers, a little crooked and realize it after she's moved past it so she just ripped it off without even warning me.. i actually hurt kind of bad but I was so shocked and it happened so fast I didn't really say anything. The biggest thing is There is no Apex whatsoever to my nail. I did request acrylic to be thin and I appreciate that, but if I smack my nail against something I for sure know it's gonna break immediately. So maybe that's My fault for asking for it to be thin? but just FYI to remind them to do an apex still if you ask for thinner nails, but i feel like that's something they should know automatically ? Oh wells I'll still come back. read more

This was my first time going here because I needed to get my nails done for a trip and I didn't have time to book with my usual nail tech I tried this place because of my mother in law but I had the worst experience ever the girl I had was in such a rush and she cut me twice wall filing my nails as well as hurting me around my critical using the nail drill I told her it hurt and I even pulled my hand away twice and all she said was "sorry". She was such In a rush and after all that all she did was sweep so she had the time to just do my nails properly and make it calm. I didn't feel the need to tip because of how awful it was and how much it hurt I tried to trust the processes but wow. This place truly doesn't deserve their name either they are overworking their employees or I just didn't get a good one read more

My first time trying out perfect 10 nails spa and I give it a 10/10. I did my research and found that Nhi is good at designs so I decided to book with her. I requested gel X with French tip and a 3-D design and it came out amazing. I gave her an inspo pic and she perfected it even more. She truly listens and is supportive when it comes to what you want and does not pressure you to get anything that you're not comfortable with which I love. I am hesitant about going to nail salons because sometimes they try to persuade you to get something that you didn't ask for, but that was not the case. Nhi is friendly and detail oriented. If you're someone who likes designs on your nails, you have to ask for Nhi. She's amazing!! I happened to stop by this salon bc I was in the area and the original salon I wanted to go to wanted me to wait 2 hours before someone could get to doing my nails (my fault since I didn't make an appointment). But what a blessing it turned out to be because then I wouldn't have come across Nhi!! So I walk into this salon without an appointment around 12 and the owner immediately greets me. She tells me, "I'm going to put you with Nhi. She's young and really good!" I've gone to Nhi twice, and the best part about her is that I've shown her inspo pics and asked her to freestyle, she does an AMAZING job. I always get compliments on my nails. I did gel builder with chrome, and with designs on each nail it came out to $125. I moved closer to SF and was hoping to find a shop here that could compare and so far, i can't find one on her level. This shop deserves 5 stars. I've been to shops in the south bay with higher ratings, and the customer service here is excellent and the work is great. read more

The service here is incredible! Everyone is super friendly. The service is super quick but extremely well done. I travel from Felton specifically to come here. I came in as a walk in today with a reference photo I wanted adjustments to and Kim Shu absolutely knocked it out of the park with the sunflower artwork. My last set lasted about a month! I came by to treat my daughter and her friend to a mani-pedi. This place is fantastic! It's located right by the Almaden shopping plaza, so it's a pretty ideal location. Parking can be a little tricky, but not too terrible on a Friday afternoon. Make sure you call ahead since this place is pretty popular. They have a ton of massage chairs, and I was able to sit in one while I waited for my daughter and her friend to get their nails done. Those massage chairs are amazing! They do have two adorable hello Kitty chairs for little ones that want to get their nails done. The Hello Kitty chairs obviously are not massage chairs, but they are adorable! This place is pretty pricey, especially since the massage doesn't take too long at all, but it was a fun treat for my kiddo and her friend. They charge an extra $10 for design, which I feel is a bit outrageous for a child design, but like I said, this doesn't happen very often. My daughter ended up getting a hello Kitty design, which she absolutely loved. Great place to get pampered, but not sure if I would make this my go-to spot due to the price point. They do accept Apple Pay, which is great, but all tips are cash only, which is a bit annoying because who actually has cash these days? read more

As a repeat client, I can honestly say the consistency in her work is what keeps me coming back. Jackie does such a beautiful job making my nails look natural, clean, and not too thick (which is really important to me). I've been coming here regularly for full sets, but my last two visits were disappointing. Both of the last two times I had to get full sets, the nails didn't even last. They started lifting and falling off within 8-10 days, even after paying $130 with designs. I didn't even make it to a fill. I know the salon can do great work because I've had sets last 3+ weeks before, but the quality seems inconsistent depending on the technician. I'm not rough on my nails, so they shouldn't be lifting/falling off this quickly. I hope to see more consistency, because when it's done right, the results are great. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for almost a year now - Kristin does my pedicures & Nhi does my nails. I truly cannot recommend this salon enough - I always walk out BEYOND pleased with the results. The salon itself is clean & welcoming with massage chairs that I adore :-) Nhi is an absolute artist - she has immaculate attention to detail & there's truly no design that she can't nail (pun intended ). She somehow makes my hands look even better than the Pinterest inspo pic. She's so delicate, precise, & a true professional. Kristin is also a treasure! I suffer terribly from ingrown toenails & Kristin is the only pedicures who can get them out without causing me severe pain. She treats my feet with so much TLC & is also a perfectionist. This time, I didn't realize I had been assigned to Emillee again. During the waxing, I repeatedly asked her to be gentler because the pain was unbearable, but she continued anyway. The experience was extremely painful, and afterward my skin developed blisters. I've had waxing done many times before, including by other staff at this location, and I've never experienced anything like this. Throughout the appointment, she repeatedly commented that I had darker skin and darker hair. Those comments made me feel very uncomfortable and singled out. I also noticed her adding something to the wax during the appointment, although I wasn't told what it was. In addition, wax was spilled on both the floor and the table, making the entire appointment feel disorganized and unprofessional. During the service, I told her how much pain I was in and warned that I would consider taking legal action if my skin was injured because I felt my concerns were being ignored. Despite that, the service continued without any noticeable adjustment. Overall, this was one of the worst waxing experiences I've ever had. Based on my experience, I would not book with Emillee again.

Today's experience with the front desk reception is the final nail in the coffin for me to stop being a return customer. I saw there's plenty of small wax businesses with high reviews and for less than what EWC is charging. I never thought to look elsewhere because i was loyal to the brand. I didn't realize i was overpaying! first red flag was being asked if i completed my pre-wax survey and that it should be in my email in what felt like a rude tone. my waxer then came out and was ready for me and the receptionist held me from going until answering the questions - i get it that's fine but being held back from my appt has never happened to me before. my waxer was wonderful! a great experience. i don't want to minimize that the waxers are great there. afterwards the receptionist asked me to charge my card, i said the last 4 digits and normally that's not a problem and the last 2 times i was there at this location it worked fine. but for some reason, now the payment wasn't going through. we think it's the zip code and i ask is there a way i can just pay and update all that at a later time - i am so used to just being able to leave right after that i ended up being late to another appointment having to tap my phone and card several times and each time the machine stated approve but their systems said failed. i check my bank statement and there were 5 charges to my card - all the same amount. i hold up my phone to show them. this is now ~$700 in held pending transaction funds going into the weekend - its was 4pm on friday and banks close over the weekend. i honestly don't understand why i couldn't just tap a credit card like any normal transaction and be on my way - the woman at the reception really had me staying back asking me for my whole address to update instead of just letting me pay and leave! )-: ADVICE: Do not keep tapping your payment method when updating info or if they tell you the charge isn't going through, just ask to pay normally like at any other merchant as a one time charge. i really wish i advocated more when it didn't feel right to be tapping my payment so many times and seeing APPROVED across the payment machine. my appointment was at 3:30pm i was out at about 4pm on friday, may 15. there was only one receptionist at the front at the time. i didn't recognize her so maybe she was new but this experience just really tipped it all over for me. there's a lot of waxers in the area! i advise looking around before deciding on a large chain that has some customer service quality issues. EDIT: yes i have challenged the charges on my bank app already - i just don't have the time to call before lines close for the weekend and the experience over all with the higher prices made it feel like value didn't match spend.

Anna continued to tell me that I shouldn't be canceling (which I wasn't doing) because it hurts her business. After I told her I won't be coming back she doesn't get the clue and will continue to harass you. I've never experienced anything like this from a business provider before. I also worked in customer service my entire life. I hope Anna can get a grip and learn how to run her business with more professionalism. Taking clients money without having clear guidelines about changing appointments is essentially stealing.

BE CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSING NAIL SALONS!! 3 stars because, although they are pretty cleanly and decently priced, I strongly believe a handful of the techs employed are NOT PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED. They have techs who are really great at what they do but to keep up with the demand, they have several untrained hands rushing through clients and dishing out subpar work. This is very concerning when it comes to cuticle care and acrylics. I recently had a tech who over filed using the drill. This caused a very unpleasant and annoying throbbing pain in my fingers. They hurt so bad I had to fall asleep with my hands in an upright position. THIS IS A HUGE RED FLAG MY NAILS WERE DONE BY A PROFESSIONALLY UNTRAINED TECH. I should not feel any discomfort. Not only did she overdrill but she also overfiled trying to narrow my naturally wide nail bed. I definitely did not ask for that. I definitely knew she was unskilled after the experience. I put the pain and the fact the receptionist told me "no manicures with fills" together and came to this conclusion. I believe he said that because he didn't want my tech to cut at my cuticles (or he wanted my appt to end faster). I aspired to be a nail tech once and I even practiced with a nail drill and acrylics at home on a dummy hand. It's easy to learn but takes time to perfect and most important takes professional education to learn the health care behind it. It is very easy to hurt someone with this professional tool. If you experience any pain after a trip to the nail salon something was done wrong. Im not usually the type to speak up about an unsatisfying experience but they can really hurt someone (which can lead to horrible infections) due to their incompetence. read more

I went to Perfect 10 Nail Spa on Mothers Day, the busiest day of the year, with no appointment. The door was open before 10, so I went in. It was clear the owner and her husband were expecting a crowd, and had planned the day well. They had 17 technicians on duty and had left some spots on their appointment book for walk-ins! As soon as all the technicians had arrived and all of those with appointments had arrived, I was able to have a pedicure and my daughter was able to have a manicure--we didn't have to wait long at all. Those with appointments and walk-ins flowed through the door as I was getting a pedicure. All were accommodated. Well-done! The owner speaks English very well, and her husband (working that day because they knew it was going to be busy) is a native English speaker. Both were very friendly and shared stories of their children and grandchildren. My technician "Vi" was friendly, spoke English well, did a good job on my feet--lots of scrubbing! and didn't hurt me at all! This was my third visit to Perfect 10 and I will continue to go back. OH, I got my eye brows done, too. At $7 (for the pair, not each!) it was a bargain. They look lovely, and the process was not as painful as it has been at some other places. read more

I had an amazing experience at Perfect 10 Nail Spa! Jan did my full set, and the chic, beautiful design turned out exactly like the Pinterest image I brought in. Reality truly met my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Jan went above and beyond by also helping with a gel toe design and assured me I could come back anytime if anything happened to the designs. Sure enough, not even an hour later, one of the bows came off (completely my fault--I got off balance trying to put my shoe on at home). I drove back immediately, and Jan was so kind and happy to help me by putting on a new bow without hesitation. Ada painted my gel toes and gave a great massage. She was so thorough and made the experience relaxing. Jenny took care of my eyebrow and upper lip wax and did an excellent job. She was super considerate, checking the wax temperature and ensuring I was comfortable the entire time. Overall, I absolutely love this place! I've been coming here for a year, and they have never disappointed me. My nails are perfect for my upcoming birthday, and I couldn't be more thrilled. Highly recommend! read more

Also, my two girlfriends and I recently came in to do pedicures and eyebrows, we really needed to get our eyebrows done for an event so we made sure to make an appointment to maintain our tight schedule. So once we were done, we all went into the room together to wait until it was our turn for eyebrows. Overall, the service was good the eyebrow/waxing area seems like it is sanitary, BUT IT IS NOT.... for the most part in comparing other salons, it is clean but we had to ask our esthetician to not double dip, she had started to and would have continued to use the same stick if we did not tell her anything. She also seemed friendly in the beginning but that quickly faded. PLEASE fix this issue and be sanitary, because the rest of the salon seems sanitary EXCEPT for the waxing area. PLEASE teach your estheticians to not double dip or use the same stick, please take disease prevention into account and I hope this is fixed the next time I secretly come in and yes I will be brining in another salon professional from New York to inspect. This place is INCREDIBLE! My friend got engaged last night so naturally we HAD to get her nails done this morning. We walked in without an appointment 15 minutes after they opened and it was PACKED OUT, peeps everywhere and waiting too! We thought we wouldn't get in but literally 2 minutes later more ladies came out of the back and took everyone, including us, back to be seated and worked on right away!!! That alone was awesome, not to mention that for the same price I've paid for a regular mani we got a sugar scrub, a great paint job, hand painted nail art that looks amazing and a 20 minute hot stone/oil massage!! What the?! HOW is this place not shouted from the rooftops...I don't even live on that side of town but THIS is certainly my new place and worth the extra drive. Best nail place I have been going for 2-3 years never leaving. All the staff are talented nail techs. Therefore no matter who you get you will be in good hands. Every time I go, my nails come out beautiful and identical to the inspiration picture. They accept walk-ins and the wait is short. I always have gone as a walk-in and the longest I have had to wait was no more than 2 minutes. They are good at complex designs, unlike regular nail salons. They do 3D flowers, gems, drawings, and much more. The nails are smooth last long and look very high quality. I have gotten different nail tech every time but in general they we also so nice making conversations with smiles on their faces. My price is usually around $110 for long nails 3d flowers, gems, and glitter. I always have left satisfied and the prices are reasonable!! Overall, an excellent nail salon. read more

Have been a client for approx. 1 year now. Absolutely love Mai (owner) and her son, Wes. My technician is Yen and she does wonderful, relaxing facials, beautiful eyelashes and perfect manicures. I always have my nails done with Gelish gel polish and have never had my polish chip or peel. Even went camping and had a fellow camper compliment me on my nails because they looked perfect. Salon is always very accommodating in our appointment requests. Sometimes we find ourselves having to reschedule and Wes always manages to make the necessary changes for us. Yen has even come in on what was supposed to be her day off to do my eyelashes. I highly recommend Perfect 10 and hope to be a client for many years to come. Love you guys.... read more

This is a great place to come and relax! The nice part was when my girlfriends and I came after work, we were greeted by a very handsome receptionist! It is the owner's son! He is very sweet and really knows how to run the salon! The manicurists are ok, they don't like to experiment with new designs, so make sure you find someone who will! There are some there who will, so you have to ask! The pedicure is nice, however pricey! The eyebrow waxing is fair and they do not double dip which is a relief! A plus is that they rarely speak in their native language, like many salons do! It's very clean, has a nice environment and is well organized! Fantastic experience. My young daughter and I went for a 'girls beauty day' and it was wonderful! My daughter had a holiday manicure and a pedicure in the adorable Hello Kitty chair. It was the perfect size for her and she had a blast. She had beautiful Christmas decorations painted on her fingers and toes. Perfect. I had a pedicure and splurged on getting acrylic tips. BEST NAIL SALON in San Jose!!! Beautiful, huge, amazing staff. They even have a table of cookies, crackers, cheese, and beverages for their patrons. I mean what nail place do you know does that? Great quality and cleanliness. The nail polish display was ORGANIZED and colors were all displayed perfectly. They had so many choices of shellac colors (most places only have 10 or so), and they even had some shellac colors with exact match polish for your feet. This place literally has it all. I went in a week ago and loved my service but 3 days after I had my full set of acrylic nails put on they started lifting. Two came off by Sunday. When I called in on Monday they asked me to go in to get them fixed and i would not be charged. I went in to get them fixed and was treated like I did something wrong. They were so rude. I received horrible costumer service, I still tipped the technicians who helped me, and they gave me a ticket to pay. I didn't want to be rude but I didn't think it was necessary to pay for something that was not my fault. I will not be coming back here! It's so sad how rude People can be. read more

Ive been going to this salon since I was little with my mom, every single time they have done our nails absolutely perfect. The overall expierence is so calming, the workers are the nicest people you'll ever meet and their talent for doing nails is very impressive and accurate to any picture you show. I'm a regular over her at perfect 10 now, my twin sister and I were in search for a new place to get our nails done. I've been to quite a few places but about 7 months ago we decided to try out this place and have been going back ever since!! The front ladies are so sweet and nice, always making you feel welcome. I've been coming to this salon for about three years now, and every visit is consistently great! The team is always so friendly, welcoming, and attentive from the moment I walk in. They really take their time to make sure my nails look perfect every single time. The salon is clean, relaxing, and has such a positive vibe. Perfect 10 is the best places I've ever been for nails and waxes, they are so nice and sweet here. Whenever you're getting nails or eyebrows done they ask you if you like it so far and they make sure you love it afterwards. They have a lovely salon and its a nice place to get nails and eyebrows done. They do eyebrows in a separate room, so it's super private. I would 100% recommend as I have been going here for over a year now! read more

The woman doing my toes was very nice and carried a light conversation but also let me sit in silence and enjoy. With my services I paid 105$ after the discount of paying cash. I tipped 20$ total for services so 125$ out the door. I will be coming back here and the experience was very pleasant and quality was good.

They are always highly decorated and she uses cat eye almost every time. So imagine my surprise when I come in to get a basic manicure and pedicure, and my total is $25 MORE ( $30 if you include the additional 3% you pay to use a card) for a more basic service. The nail tec used builder gel (I had not asked for it), and charged me for removing a full set of nails (I had one tip on my thumb from a brake and one broken nail that had a bit of acrylic on it to give it strength, the rest simply had gel). And this is what I dislike about nail shops. They should state this upfront, not after the fact. And when I pay more more my basic pedicure, basic nail polish, and no designs than the last time I came in and got glitter and a design nail (or about the same my friend pays for her design nails), then something feels very wrong. Unfortunately, I'll have to keep looking for a reliable nail shop with transparent pricing. Edit, update: this manicure was chipping the day it was applied (as the nail tech was filing the builder gel, a giant clump ripped off the base). But 2 days after, nearly early nail has lifting, chipping, and the natural nail underneath has broken, too. A manicure that lasts merely 2 days isn't quality work at all.

It was a shocker as the price was so expensive. I had my pedicure done with Nina, and the price was $90. She did it very quick and the she didn't tell me the price, which sucks as they overcharge so much. Other customers don't tip and the nail techs belittle them in their language. I couldn't enjoy my pedicure knowing they were speaking down on others. I grew up with a Vietnamese father and understand everything they said. I don't recommend coming to this nail salon if you're looking for a smooth mani pedi that is worth it. The store is also dirty and very unhygienic. The bathroom had a cockroach. I asked the other customers about their experience with waxing and they told me the wax room was dirty too, and they reused the paraffine wax on them. This is simply unacceptable.
