The west coast are smaller and juicier. The wife is coming back to buy a dozen west coast oysters which are not cheap. We had a nice seafood lunch here today. I'd seen on line someone posting about baked oysters and knew that's what I wanted. Had no idea, however, that they've only been (officially) open one week! They are located in the Sistrunk Marketplace. They are right in front as you enter the main doors. They started with a location at the yellow/green market in Hollywood where they've been for about six months. We ordered a shrimp cocktail to share to start. There were seven I've cold cooked shrimp served on a bed of ice with lemon wedges and cocktail sauce for dipping. The we had their baked oysters. We tried half with their lemon and truffle oil and the other half done Louisiana style. Unlike their Hollywood location where they broil them, this location does them baked. (The marketplace won't let them have an open flame without a hood and the ceilings are too high here). We shared them -- and liked the kinds we chose equally. There's also a spicy one if that's your preference. We sat at the counter, but you can also bring your food to one of the tables if you're dining in a group and everyone is ordering from different kiosks. We had a nice chat with Mike (originally from Vero) about possible future plans and other restaurants (locally and in New Orleans) where we've enjoyed various types of seafood. You will want to come here and try them, if you're an oyster fan. We didn't valet so we had a limited time to sit and enjoy (metered parking is $3 an hour) -- the only drawback. What's the saying? Not sure what happened to my charbroiled oysters. $24 for half a dozen of nothings. For reference, they were smaller than a dime and tasted yuck. Beyond disappointed and I couldn't bring myself to order anything else from their menu. read more

Highly recommend this place!! The lobster roll had flavor and it was truly so delicious. I'm not an oyster person but I did try the baked ones and for the first time ever I actually enjoyed them. The service was great and fast. The vibe inside the market place is fun and family friendly. Honestly stopping here before a night out is definitely the way to go. This was a solid find right at the front entrance of the market. Parking is free the first hour, and $4 every hour after. They have happy hour from 4-6pm and the Oysters were fresh oysters were $1.5/ea during happy hour. John provided great service along with the other employees working at the different shops. They all helped each other out and got along from what it seemed like which made the vibe of this place awesome. read more

Outstanding!! I've tried almost everything on the menu and I keep coming back for more. Starting from the raw oysters so juicy and fresh. Mom's crab salad was so flavorful. The baked oysters had such a great combination of spices and were cooked perfectly. The guys that own it also operate it and are super cool guys. If you've been to Louisiana or Texas DO NOT eat here. This has had to be the biggest let down in chargrilled oysters I've ever had. I ordered two different kinds of oysters [dozen and half total] they threw it all on one plate... I couldn't even tell which one is which. Extremely pricey for such a disappointment. Oysters are complete mush. These oysters have got to be baked and not chargrilled. It was ALL ONE TEXTURED. From the cheese to the oyster itself. Lobster rolls have fried onions on it... I would opt out of that as well. Fried onions definitely do not belong on lobster rolls. Best part of this place is the bread. That's what I'll give them one star for. read more

I had a nice, chill time at Shuck Boys. John took care of me and everything came out great! I had the raw oysters and the lobster Mac and cheese. John is definitely a perfectionist and made sure everything looked good before he served it. I'll certainly be back and next time I'll try the Aji Mami raw style oysters. read more

I was thoroughly disappointed in my visit to this location. As a fan of the farmer Market location and even the new one in doral , I've always had outstanding service and amazing food. But this location didn't do it for me. Staff was complaining how he couldn't make certain oysters bc they didn't have , had an attitude , and smelled heavily of weed. Kept going on and going how his boss wouldn't let him cancel certain orders . I just had way too much good experiences for this one to be so sour. I came to this location bc of the weather being so hot but now I'll just go to Farmers Market. They show you genuine love , service and take their time to make sure my order is perfect. The service was just so night and day. I'll gladly go to the Hollywood location moving forward, hot or not. read more

I've visited Sistrunk Marketplace a handful of times, nothing has really stood out to me, but after walking in the other day and seeing that the Shuck Boys have set up shop right as you walk in the front door, their menu is so refreshing and the boys are always welcoming, they definitely stand out! Fresh oysters, baked oysters, lobster mac n cheese, everything I had was 10/10, I hope they stick around because I can't wait to go back and try more! read more

Food was delicious that's why I gave it two stars but the service was horrible it seem like everything is digital which is cool but the communication with the staff and servers on how long the wait or if they don't have something lack in that department. Never had oysters before but once trying the baked oysters I was opened to a whole new world! The lobster Mac n cheese was delicious and they just introduced two new flavors of Mac n cheese such as Calabrian chili and Truffle. The lobster roll was the best lobster roll I've ever had! And for my grill cheese lovers, they do a lobster grill cheese that is extremely delicious (chefs kiss). The owners are really great people and they always have a positive attitude. They had me try a raw oyster and I was a little spectacle at first but I put some of their home made mignonette sauce on it and it was actually really delicious. They informed me that they always have a different selection of oysters and that they are always a fresh selection. After talking to them for a little while they let me know to try out their original out at Yellow Green Farmers market which I most definitely will! read more
