I had a great experience during Dine Out Lauderdale. Or group ordered many things off the menu and all our dishes or excellence. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff was friendly and the environment was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their regular menu prices are also reasonable outside of the Dine Out special.

I'm behind on my reviews. My wife and I were visiting Fort Lauderdale, and I had a craving for Italian food. The food was excellent!! The scallops were perfectly cooked, sweet and succulent. The parsnip it was served on was delicious. The bread with the dip was to die for. Olive oil and fresh herbs with warm bread were excellent. My wife enjoyed her pasta. The beef carpaccio was delicious. I could use more capers. The oxtail risotto was okay. Something about the risotto I didn't like: I think a mushroom risotto would go better. It is good. It could be better. Our waiter, Jonathan, made some recommendations. He was excellent and attentive. Matteo, who was assisting, was on it as well. Great duo!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We are outside because it's nice out. The weather was really good that evening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're in the area, I recommend visiting.

A taste of Italy in Fort Lauderdale... Parking: street parking available. It is inside a the Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel Drinks: great Italian wine selection and full bar Food: I'd call it Italian fusion. There were six of us and we tried the rigatoni pasta, pizza and branzino. Everyone loved everything. Service: great server. He also gave us free Limoncello shots before we left. Atmosphere/vibe: we went on a Saturday night and tried out the "Dine Out Fort Lauderdale" menu. They had a live bad. Great looking place and vibe but it was only 20% full Age group: 30's and up Bathroom: clean Return:sure but not in a huge rush

Get this. Osso Buco. Sooooo yummy.

This place is an amazing. You'll love the vibe with the pool view. Located in the Kimpton Fort Lauderdale & and about two block from the main strip it's perfectly located with great food. The service is amazing. They are extremely attentive and they will anticipate your needs. Thank you, Johnathan, Emily. Gio, Daniel, Richardo, Steven . You're welcome in advance.

Egg breakfast with fruit. It was exceptional.

La Fuga is a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoyed wine and the excellent singer on Thursday night and an exceptional breakfast on Friday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We will be trying dinner on a return visit. The breakfast menu had some very unique food choices. We both had the egg breakfast which was fresh and very tasty. All items were high quality and the price was $12. The service was friendly and prompt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior dining area has a nice vibe and there is also outdoor seating near the pool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I highly recommend La Fuga and will be back.

The food and service here were great! Our waiter was very helpful and the food came out relatively fast. The bruschetta was delicious, and the waiter made sure there was enough of it for all of us in the group (4). The gnocchi was also delicious. I do wish there were more vegetarian options, or options to make food vegetarian but otherwise a great time!

Linguini with whit clam sauce. Meh

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Place was deserted on a Thursday night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Best thing was the aperol spritz for $9. Worst was the linguine with white clam sauce that was mostly and oddly chewy razor clams. Both the octopus and branzino and dip for the bread tasted the same. So if you don't love puttanesca, you will be disappointed. We should have been told it was all the same and we would have chosen differently. Prices are high. The 4th dish was forgotten by the wait staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Hard to believe since no one else was there for at least the first hour we were.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So many great options in the area. Sorry we do not understand the glowing reviews.

La Fuga GOOD: Excellent sides, pasta and sauces. Steve provided wonderful, dedicated service BAD: Price for the entree quality, [[HIGHLIGHT]]some entrees fell flat and although new, the restaurant could use a moderate, modern makeover[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were surfing Yelp and decided to try La Fuga, an Italian-focused menu with some seafood. We all enjoyed the veggie sides including the brussel sprouts and brocolini. My diners pasta with clams and and meat sauce was very good. On the downside, my chicken dish was over cooked and dry despite the dunking of sauce. For 26$ it was barely a thigh, maybe a quarter at best. Our party reported the cheese wasn't fully melted on the pizza. Prices are generally very steep with veggie sides running between 7-9$ [[HIGHLIGHT]]Finally, it sounds picky but the dining space is wide open so the very old dining floor really stands out giving it an older, dining hall feel.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A strip with good sythetic wood flooring would work wonders and compliment the beautiful frontal view of the pool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Jonathan gave great service and has awesome menu knowledge the food came out so quickly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambience is wonderful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We loved it.

I can't say enough amazing things about this restaurant! The ambiance, the food and the service were all fabulous! Steven, our bartender, anticipated our every need. All of their mixers are made in house, (by Steven himself.). We lucked up and came in during happy hour (on a Saturday!) and were able to order some delicious small bites at a great price! We had the slider and meat and margherita pizzas. While chatting with Steven, he learned about my past love of SATC and cosmopolitans. He gave me a taste of the best Cosmo I have ever had! I highly recommend it! The next time I'm in town, we'll definitely be back to La Fuga for their delicious food and wonderful service.

A wonderful dining experience. Nestled in the Kimpton Shorebreak. A lovely space with a modern aesthetic with 1950s flair. Our amazing bartender/server, Steven, whipped up some tasty drinks while suggesting some of his personal favorite dishes from the kitchen. We kicked things off with the Italian mojito and the butterfly pea flower spritz. Both were light and refreshing drinks that leaned toward the sweet side. We started with the fresh baked bread and house made tapenade with oil and balsamic, which was so yummy and a good omen for the meal to come. . We ordered the Calamari and Mussels, the oxtail risotto, and the prosciutto and fig pizza. Everything was fantastic. The calamari and mussels were cooked to perfection. The oxtail risotto was incredible. The oxtail was so tender. The Barolo reduction was so rich. The risotto was perfectly al dente with just the tight amount of bite to it. This is not always the case, most of the time when I order this is comes out mushy. The pizza was a grand slam. Very nice crust with fresh pesto paired with the salty bites of prosciutto with pops of sweetness from the figs and the goat cheese with creamy unctuousness that brings the whole pie together. Overall an amazing experience top to bottom. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic. Shout out to Steven the bartender for making it a wonderful evening.

We sat outside and watched people jogging up the A1A and frolicking on the beach. It's a good spot to people watch. Once we were seated, we were instructed on where the food was located, and our drink orders were taken. The worst part: There are NO scrambled eggs in a heated pan to serve yourself. That leaves you with no choice but to wait in the egg line where the chef makes your eggs for you. Boooo! What if I just wanted plain ole eggs? Or, I don't feel like waiting 30 minutes in a line to have an omelet made? It's brunch, but it really serves more of a lunch menu. It is a Mexican restaurant, so that's what you'll find. There's a make-your-own taco bar, ceviche, chips & guac, etc. But I'm a breakfast person. The waffle strips tasted store-bought (and came with syrup in a little jam container), and the mac & cheese was an afterthought. Again, probably Kraft. Luckily, once you drink enough mimosas, nothing else matters. So yeah, that's where the DJ saves the day. They also had endless margaritas, but them joints tasted TART. Those little cheesecake squares were pretty good. Otherwise, I don't think I'd come back for this brunch.

Most importantly of all, though, the food is top notch. Everything I had, I loved. We ordered the set menu and I highly recommend it. We started with three delicate small bites - sashimi, beets with caviar, and liver. All were delicately put together with a pleasant flavor and nothing too overpowering. Next, we had a large sampling of different items, hummus, babaganoush, muhammara, pickled cauliflower, an incredible olive oil, a beef tallow edible candle, and one of the best homemade hot sauces I have ever had. Then, we had the main course, a perfectly done branzino, and the best beef I have ever had in my life, their waygu beef skewers. Finally, their dessert was sophisticated and so well done. I very highly recommend this place for a fine dining experience in all of the Miami and Fort Lauderdale area!

That place had me hooked with its Ernest Hemingway vibes: cozy safari feel, moody lighting, woods, leather touches, basket-weave textures, vintage maps...it just had soul. Hubs brought me here to celebrate my 6/26 birthday and they went above and beyond. Huge shoutout to Omar, who took care of us from start to finish. He was always there when we needed him but never imposed. We both went with the $59 prix fixe menu, which is honestly a great deal. Nice amount of appetizers, a solid selection of entrées and dessert included. I started with the lobster bisque which was poured table-side over a good amount of lobster chunks. I had the shrimp+ scallops over cauliflower rice for my main. The shrimp were large, succulent and packed with flavor. I finished with the Key lime pie and it didn't disappoint. Hubs also got the bisque, then the filet mignon, he added the crab cake which was worth the upcharge and finished with the carrot cake. We were both happy with our meals. The birthday surprise was the icing on the cake- literally. They brought out this ice cream tower-looking dessert covered in meringue, Omar poured liquor over it, lit it table-side and gave us a little show. Such a fun touch. For the price of cocktails, they could've been stronger- but, the food is tasty and service rocks! While I still miss the cozy charm of the Naples location, Fort Lauderdale delivered where it counts.

But when my partner asked me what I really felt like I said Casa Playa or Chimney house. So we raced to get there at 9:30ish starving. Good thing we asked the kind manager first if they would still serve us food since they closed at 10.. He was kind enough to tell us they would serve us no problem. Glad we asked as the male server who who wasn't even serving us) was quick to walk by when he saw us, not to greet us but to tell us the kitchen was closed. Then seemed annoyed when the manager confirmed we were ok. Thanks buddy. Thankfully we were being served by the kind male bartender with the female server being sweet enough to bring us menus We made sure to have our order in as soon as asked. The male bartender was great. Friendly and made us feel welcome. I have been to this restaurant many times because I love Chimney house and these are the same owners. We had the Argentinian rice with steak entree with chimichurri and it was absolutely delectable! We also ordered ordered a virgin coconut margarita which was delish and cucumber soda! Their drink options were endless, tons of fresh juices and ingredients. Hands down 10/10 experience and will totally be back. Also, give Lilly a raise lol

I've eaten here a number of times and have always had good meals. Their Osso Buco done with pork…read moreinstead of the traditional veal, I found to really be superior in taste, texture and flavor. Their Fish & Chips also very good with actual chunks of fish instead of little pieces. i've also enjoyed their New England style clam chowder through it it contains far too many potatoes compared to clams. The interior is fresh and stylish and eating on the side walk patio isn't bad though it is right on A1A, with its heavy traffic and noise. On the other hand, you are directly across from the beach area that often has beach valley ball games to watch, and some of those players are really good. A big downside is no parking except on backstreets . It's best over near the Parrot Lounge. My services at Ozzie's has always been good, professional and polite. So, for the food and service, my Yelp four stars.
